A microcosm of a mismanaged, horribly run organization that has missed the playoffs in 7 of the last 9 years sprinkled in one somewhat tainted NBA title. It's hard to imagine, but the lowly Lakers sank to an all-time low in class and respect here.

Lakers dug themselves into a huge hole with the Lebron/AD/Russ signings. Traded away their young talent to 'win now' and they can't even win now. The only way they could possibly salvage any of this is to enter full rebuild mode, because their contracts are eating up a large chunk of payroll.

It COULDN’T of been Lebron’s fault, who ‘hand-picked’ this 2021-22 team, that was TOO SLOW to play defense !! Or, A.D’s fault who only played 40 games, this regular season !!
    I know who’s fault it was…It was Russell Westbrook’s, & Head Coach Frank Vogel’s fault. 🤣

People will take the job because it is an infinite pay increase over being an assistant coach. Theres only 30 of these jobs that pays millions and changes their life. A newcomer coach gets 4-5 year 20-25 million, an experienced coach gets 40-50 million. So yea.. they dont care if they get fired via Woj.
With that said its a terrible job.. you have no pieces to build with
