Dirt Devil Ultra Hand Vacuum

Here I'm showing is the newest vacuum I recently got. I picked this up last week from the thrift store for about $3. Never came with any attachments. But it did however had a $16 price tag from what I'm assuming was a yard sale so I guess I'm basically the third owner of this machine. It was in terrific shape when I got it. I just cleaned it up, put a new belt and bag on. Now it works fantastic! I've been after an Ultra ever since my aunt got rid of hers a couple years ago when she moved here. And it was really unfortunate because had I would've known, I would've been more than happy to have it because not only I grew up with it but also I just liked the looks of it despite my criticisms with these. This is actually the Chinese version, not the North American one like my aunt's. I like the texture on the handle more but I don't like that the hose can't be removed easily. I also noticed that this was put together by machine because unfortunately the screws got overtorqued on the fan housing where there's cracks holding the screws together. Other than that, it's still the same machine as my aunt's. Loud, overheats, smells like it's burning, weak performance, etc. However, I'd consider it as a classic. I'd still like to find a North American version one of these days, keep at home as a collection. I brought this down to my aunt's because it just felt strange with her not having an Ultra anymore. Same reason why I chose to keep the Hoover Concept Two down here as well.

It's not honestly. If you're looking into a hand vac for daily use cleaning, there are better options than this.

@@panasonicvac4036 yeah I maybe stick with bissell hand vacs they do have a corded one and they are better and quiet than a loud TTi Hoover dirt devil ultra but the dirt devil classic hand vac has a 7 amp motor that the compact upright has and those are pretty good ones it’s quiet and bagless and the brush grooms well
