I agree as well but the hepa Kirby bags are definitely the best, I’ve use the white micron magic bags and after a little but of vacuuming the bag had a slight dark color( indicating that dust was getting past the bag), Thus not catching everything I’m using the new hepa bags and the bag still looks brand new and needs change here soon but definitely worth the money.

What kind of bags does it take?

I can get a 6-pack of bags for my Kenmore Progressive for $20 /pack and it's damn well worth it for cleaner indoor air and healthier lungs :)

You don't see too many vintage pre-Panasonic Kenmore's this clean. I love how Concept One looking it is, and that hose connection, I wonder if they had this feature before the Hoover Elite did.

How do I use the hose on this little electric devil vacuum? Can’t figure out how to rotate the nozzle to go over brush roll

my mom had one of these in red, it didn’t pick up a lot when we used it

A common problem for these sharks are a broken hose, broken lower head hose, and power head failure, which is what occurred for me when I found one on the curb-side. The power head would turn red as soon as the vacuum was turned on, which or course I thought was a blown motor (which I was dumb enough to not check anything else). After installing the new motor it still wasn’t working to which I thought maybe it was a coincidence. I ended up stripping it down and found out that a large resistor had gone pop and put a bunch of black dust inside to which I thought was carbon dust. I still have it apart in my room with the other circuit board which I need to de-solder to put a new resistor on, however its old, the click fittings aren’t great, both hoses are broken, is it worth even trying to save it?

I used to have neighbors across the street who owned this very vacuum, but it had a different logo that was not in all-caps. This was their daily driver for years, until they replaced it with a Kirby Sentria. So seeing this Dirt Devil was quite a nostalgia trip for me.

Its getting harder to find them in as good of shape as this one is without any missing and broken parts or just straight up beaten. I almost gotten a more nicer 97 one in red but was not about to pay 40 dollars for one

My folks have had this model Shark since 2012/2013. A bit bulky, but one of the most reliable vacuums they have ever bought from a big box store.

I actually had the riccar version called the squire of this this hand vac I had 2 motor speeds on the switch took i used here till she was broken took it the back to the vaccum shop where I bought it and they did not have the parts for it I ended up buying a Dyson v15 detect extra to replace it
