Do you all have any idea how much of a nightmare fury road was in filming doing practical effects and being out in a real desert, I don't blame them for going heave on the cgi to avoid the nightmares of filming fury road and for safety reasons. 0:23

I’m genuinely surprised that George miller wasn’t the guy to direct a ‘Borderlands’ live action adaptation movie after he did Fury Road… or that it’s a want on social media coz it’s seems like a no brainer to me
Agreed it looks more cgi than practical and I get the other one was a pain to shoot but that pain definitely showed in quality on the screen. Pain or not it doesn’t change the fact that this looks too cgi. I wasn’t even sure if it was George Miller at first till the trailer end because of that. Im still interested and it could still be 🔥 but call it how you see it.
I had the same feeling regarding the visuals when I saw the trailer. It just felt like something was off about it. Update: I just had to go and watch the Fury Road trailer to do a comparison. In that trailer, it felt like only one clip was CGI. Everything else looked very real and practical. I don't blame for the pain in the *ss of doing practical, but man does it look and feel different. It does seem as gritty.
The music is awesome but I feel like it's a remix of Gotham's Reckoning by Hans Zimmer from Dark Knight Rises. Which is cool but I am surprised if the music is considered a strictly original piece, when listen to the other work next to it.

No matter what it still takes away from the experience. It's less immersive.

In the scheme of things that's minor, if you watched it it's 10x better than fury road it's no stop action, exceeds everything for me

This trailer is more polished than previous iterations. Less gritty and dirty looking. I think that is what Joe is missing.

For now, I’m in. The movie visuals look fine. I didn’t even care much for Fury Road. So if I like this one more, than I’ll be happy. It’s a teaser.
