Just watched Furiosa, the movie was absolutely incredible, one of the best I have seen in a long time. The story, action, music all top notch, the cinematography was superb, beautifully shot, with various times of day, the night shots were a stand out. Chris Hemsworth absolutely stole the show as Dementus. George Miller is truly a visionary director and legend. 👏
Still can’t believe she doesn’t have a DL and did scenes that I’ve only seen in these trailers! Seeing this as soon as I can! (I’m 70 yrs old by the way, been watching since the first Mad Max!) 😊

I went into the movie expecting C or B level. But WOW, I was blown away. I think this is the best of the Mad Max series, and I thought Road Warrior was one of the great apocalyptic movies of all time.

A bad 'strong female character' is someone who doesn't have any struggles, doesn't lose at any time, and treats everyone around her like garbage. Furiosa doesn't do any of that. Also he's got too much chromed up and generally clean looking stuff in these films, considering it's a desert Things and supplies would be even more sparse and hard to find, but we have new looking wheels/ tires on cars. Endless amounts of bullets. A mega garage with expert machine builders , mechanics and welders, but when they open there mouths sound like babbling idiots.
I watched both and I loved both. Anya Taylor Joy delivers an epic and savage performance as Furiosa, particularly when you see how she loses here left arm. Chris delivers an awesome performance as Dementus, reminded a bit of Heath's joker, due to his insanity and brutality. Furiosa is definitely worth watching in Imax for the sound design, wardrobe, and cinematography. 9/10

You do realize that her role was very physically demanding? Learning to not only drive but also learning how to crawl along the surface of a moving truck and also get underneath it is very physically demanding and can be dangerous. You try that out and see how far you get.
