You're misleading people. The N2 model DOES NOT have a thermostat controller. That's just the lcd controller. It just turns on/off and has a few other options. The pro model has that fancy thermostat controller....
The muffler works just great because it is placed on the outside end of the exhaust pipe. The exhaust pipe attaches easily to the heater. Comes with the clamps.
hi, is the fan very noisy?? would it bother a vehicle parked 2 meters away?? I would like to use it at my son's motorbike races, but usually the vans are 2-3 meters from each other, I'm afraid it will disturb.
Just got one, seems to be great but even turned down it's pumping out like 80 degree air and too hot for my tent. Any way that I'm missing of turning down the fan speed?
My idea,Use the Y adapter that he shows at 5:16 and leave it open or blocked it off half way and see if you can regulate the heat that way... I have never had one of these and never even seen them till recently on youTube.. So I can't tell ya if that idea will work or not but it's worth a try... If you don't have that Y adapter I'm wondering if you poke a few holes into the heater hose if that will regulate how hot it comes out the end
I bought one and was wondering if it would be beneficial to run an intake also. taking air from inside the truck and taking that warmer air and putting it back into the truck ?
I'd consider that a small application and imo it could recirculate moist air which you don't want. In a larger application I would say you'd be fine. For example, in my jeep I didn't run one. But in my awning room I do. We actually moved to a canvas tent this winter. So we are going to try both ways and see what happens.
I just purchased this unit except it was the taller skinnier version. Did you do any upgrades like fuel hose or filter? These units seem to be of better quality than most I’ve seen. Thanks for sharing.
No I have not. When I purchased the unit I asked if I needed to worry about issues like the lower priced units. I was told they have already upgraded those parts. Based on my constant use of the unit I would have to agree. We have almost 9 months of every day abuse and use and nothing has been faulty. Thank you for the comment.
Why does everyone who shows these kind of units, draw air from outside instead of piping both the intake and exhaust to the inside of the vehicle. Recirculating the air should be far more efficient than pulling in cold outside air and heating it. I promise I am not trying to be a troll. I genuinely don't understand. There must be a reason.
Condensation. We have used it just how you described but the air was more damp. When pumped out to fresh air it was noticeable dryer. Mike from @workshopwildernessadventures brought this to our attention.
@@Off-gridCherokee Good to know, I'm researching different units for my Cargo Trailer to Camper conversion and I noticed most people get the fresh air from outside.
I have just got the N2 it's brilliant except for the exhaust and clips so annoying. I use it in my caravan and van it's so warm definitely worth investing in the N2 and nice that I can plug it straight into the plug 🔌 without always using my leisure battery. I am in Scotland uk
@@Nivek321 I did end up getting the N2, It's going to be permanently installed in my cargo trailer camper. I gave it a trial run recently during a cold morning and it worked wonderfully, I have no worries about it keeping my rig warm (6 feet wide x 12 feet long and about 7 feet high). I was concerned with the fuel pump tick but it only does it in the beginning when it's priming the system, once the whole thing gets going the ticking goes away.
Thank you for sharing!
Thank you for a fine unit.
Your review helped me make my decision, thanks for the video.
Thanks for the review; I am considering one of these units to heat the back of my Tacoma here in Alaska.
I don't know if you got it but I just got one and it's worth it.
Where did you get the extension for the thermostat?

Is the T pipe to divert some of the heat. My other heater puts way too much heat for a tent. I have to open windows
Have you used the N2 in high elevations?
I have the same unit can you show how to set up the lcd screen ..thanks .

Thanks for sharing. Just purchased one got it up and running. How did you extend the controller?

Do answer this. Would like to know too
About to test this weekend.

On my box built heater I just run a straight pipe. That little muffler isn’t doing much.
does this heater have wifi connection?
Ahh house style thermostat, nice

@@Off-gridCherokee Thank you for the reply. This is good info to have.

Same question and why? When you have the remote?
