Thanks for sharing. I have the cf45 with LG compressor. It's been running non stop in my tacoma for 4 years. The only issue I've had was the 12v plug which I've replaced. I need to go bigger and I'm set this is the one I want. Thanks again for the review.

A friend has the Lg 58qt single zone Aloicool. It's going on 4 years old. It bounces around in his Volvo big rig. The first one he bought was DOA. But said it was because of shipping. But the one he is using now hasn't shut off. It's ran 100% as a freezer.
I think the cheaper ones are doing pretty good. I know of a few people that have bought Alpicool's. Setpower's and the like. In big rigs.
What started me out on the 12v fridge journey was a guy I know has a 63qt ARB that is now almost 17 years old. He replaced it with a ARB 82qt. That's now 5 years old. Both run 24/7. He has the 63qt in his garage.
I started out with a Dometix CFX 53qt. It still is running. Bought it in 2010. Sold it to a lady truck driver. She's still using it.
I've always could afford to buy higher end. I'm actually now running two of the plastic Iceco's in my truck. They work. 43qt and 53qt. I have 5 of these 12v fridge/freezers still.
The biggest thing I've noticed is the higher end ones are better insulated. My truck lost battery power a year ago. And these Iceco's were above 50 degree's within 4-5 hours. I have a BIG Snomaster 85L Expedition series dual zone. I had it unplug on me and spent 11 hours off and I didn't notice it. When I plugged it back in the freezer side was at 23 (10 degrees set point) degrees and the fridge side at 42 degrees. (34 degrees setpoint.)
My sister has noticed that her Dometic CFX3 holds temps better than her others she's had for camping. She's had a Vevor 58qt, a Setpower. And has a Iceco VL45. Plus the Dometic and she says the Dometic is the best one.
I promote these 12v fridge/freezers to drivers as much as possible. Modern semi's come with a refrigerator. Inverters and places to put at least a microwave. I have a microwave and a air fryer. A friend has both and a instapot. He has a Dometic CFX3 55IM like my sister. It's cheaper and better than living out of the truck stops.
