My kooky storyline was that Corvus would show up to help Russ in the Warp, and tell him that the Wolf Time was upon the Empire and that he should go back. Russ would ask, are you coming? And Corvus would say, I've got ONE more thing I gotta do, be right with you. And then he'd flap away, and Russ would giggle and say "Hahaha, big birdy" and back to the Empire he would go.
I could see him coming back old as fuck, but millenia of fighting in the Web Way have increased his speed powers to ludicrous degrees, to the point he becomes the defacto Angron stomper. He's so fast that on Angrons 8 week respawn timer, he can travel anywhere in the galaxy to meet and defeat him.
@@DarkApostleNoek that can go multiple ways. You can spend a short time in the Warp and come out hundreds of years later, you can enter the Warp and come out _before you left_ , you can enter for ages and come out on schedule. Lion is old, but super old Kahn embodying that wise old Chinese Monk trope would be sick.
A Fulgrim/Clonegrim double release would be amazing. Clonegrim is the Chekhov’s Gun trope writ large across 40k. You don’t introduce such a character just to have him stuffed away in a museum doing nothing. Sooner or later, Clonegrim will be released. I believe this wholeheartedly.
I think if they bring Dorn back they should do it opposite of bringing Perterabo back. They can bring the Imperial Fist/Iron Warrior feud to the tabletop properly. I've also got a hairbrained idea for what they should do with Rogal, to match him opposite of Daemon Engine Prince Peterturbo: make Rogal a Primarch Dreadnaught. Think about it: 'ol Rogal got pretty messed up when he "died". Put together some sneaky group of loyalists who got what was left of Rogal out and have spent the past several thousand years trying to put him back together. Ol' Peterturbo comes stompin' out of the Warp to lay seige to... something only to be stopped by some giant yellow dreadnought of a pattern never before seen.
I'm pretty sure Dorn disappeared later on, not at the battle of Pluto. I'm certain he was like the last Loyalist primarch other than Vulkan to disappear.
I'm from the future and I can confirm Dorn is next to return. Spoilers for the book: When he reappeared and said "it's dornin' time" and then dorned all over those guys, I nearly cried. Chris Tester did an amazing job delivering that line.
Lets be honest, we would all love to see Rogally Don-Don come back after his portrayal in TTS. Also, it would mean Perturabo would probably come out of his hidey hole and to be honest...he's the only traitor Primarch thats' truly interesting (unless Magnus somehow recovers his noble shard or something.) Remember folks..."The lemon is a mighty fruit: my favourite!"
"I've been part of the infrastructure division in the Imperium for 10,000 years" "AND YOU DECIDED NOT TO TELL US?" "I made a vow of silence to atone for past sins" "THAT. IS. JUST. FUCKING. STUPID"
I see Jaghatai coming back first, and how that fits narratively (Vashtor’s current nonsense being the obvious setup) and, more importantly to GW’s bottomline, in the tabletop. Looking at the Space Marine range, specifically generic HQs because we know what GWs about, do you see the thing that’s both missing and highly requested? Bike Leaders. You know what’s a total GW course of action? Temporarily giving a chapter a shiny new model exclusive to them to drive up interest before releasing it to the faction as a whole.
10:37 I will note, the Emperor's Bolter is still up for grabs (widely forgotten about, but remember that The Emperor's Shield didn't canonically exist until The Lion returned, and GW writers themselves have confirmed that they are willing to make up relics that came from The Emperor for a returning Primarch), and I theorize that Vulkan will return with the Emperor's Bolter, as it's said to be one of the first Boltguns ever made (by The Emperor's own hand, no less), and that would be in-line with Vulkan's blacksmith vibe. Furthermore, The One True Armor is not a feasibly attainable Emperor Relic as it was melted down to make the original Teminus Crux medals for the Imperial Fists that fought alongside him against unspeakable odds at the Siege of Terra (and are now made by removing pieces from the Right Gauntlet of The Emperor (which has the unusual trait of it being able to regenerate pieces that are removed) which is in possession of the Dark Angels, having been separated before the One True Armor was melted down)
I think as the Emperor is getting ready to be more involved, maybe Rogal Dorn would be his next piece to come back, the Tyrannids seem to be unstoppable, the empire needs a glorious defense to hold the line
It's plausible if Clonegrim is the primarch Trayzn has in his collection. I don't think GW made it clear what happened to the perfect clone after Fabius yoinked him out of whatever horrible vessel he grew in, so maybe they can do something with that. Just need other the other Necron big bois to convince/pressure Trayzn into releasing them. Also Fulgirm v Fulgrim would be very funny
@@helostories5017Trazyn threw a bunch of his collection at Cadiz during their last stand to help out. He knew that Chaos is not good for anybody. It’s possible that he throws Clonegrim out there to counter Snakegrim. Possible? Yes. Is GW going to do it? God I wish. A humbled Clonegrim, arguably the best possible version of himself, taking on the worst possible version of himself would be killer.
I would say that same pattern with 4 Chaos gods may be applicable to Loyal forces, as we do have our divirgent chapters with their unique units (such as Deathwing, Sanguinary guard, Wulfen, etc), so it is logical to assume that these legions will receive updates first of all, along with their primarchs, because GW loves money.
Yeah, Roboute was dead at the hands of Mortarion, and the Emperor said no and resurrected him. Sanguinious body lies on Baal he has been showing up to both Dante and Mephiston. I wouldn't count the glorious hawk boy out just yet
i like your Dorn theory a lot. here's my Corvus idea for whenever he shows up: Guilliman or Lion are tracking Lorgar who has been seen in realspace(hes fleeing Corvus). They catch up to Lorgar's location just in time to to see a closing warp portal and a gigantic enraged bird demon trying to claw it open wider. this causes whoever went to attack Corvus, mistaking him for a greater daemon of tzeentch. chase scene bullcrap ensues for like 2 books that culminates in Guilliman striking Corvus with the Emperors sword but it does nothing, or Lion somehow figuring out that its Corvus through some memory of his fighting style from a sparring match they had several millenia ago.
You kinda missed Loyalist Fulgrim returning. Lore-Wise you can do alot more with Fulgrim than you can with Dorn, plus Loyalist Fulgrim and Fulgrim is connected to a lot more characters. Loyalist Fulgrim returning arising from Trazyn's Museum (maybe from the final chime of the Bell of Saint Gerstahl) causing multiple parts of Trazyn's museum to fail like what it did last time. This not only results in Perfect Clone Fulgrim returning but maybe also the other notable stuff in the museum like the Krork or the really strong Eldar (i forgot its name). With Loyalist Fulgrim in the setting, and Daemon Fulgrim sensing his other self, Slaneesh could become a lot more active meaning the Eldar become more active as with the Slaneesh forces being distracted and mobilized by Daemon Fulgrim, the Eldar just send out another hail mary force to acquire the last chromesword
Just imagine the huge f-off war that could happen. Sons of the Emperor against Sons of the Phoenix, a mini civil war in each faction over their ideals, the SotE questioning of what they did was right and whether the endless pursuit of pleasure vs the joy of living for others, the SotP questioning their origins and showing that it’s the person not the gene seed that determines their loyalties, the best vs worst versions of Fulgrim, the Iron Hands seeking revenge for their Primarch, the Eldar aiming to end their war with Slanessh… So much juicy material there.
Out of the lore i can only imagine a few people in the lore searching for Necrons tomb worlds... Honestly I'd wonder what would happen if out of all people it was Ciaphas Cain who finds Clonegrim. Given that he and Amberley Vail were last interacting with Necrons in recent books. The self titled Fraud meets the Artificial "fake" Primarch and both have the hugest identity/imposter syndrome crisis together, trying to escape Trazyn's museum vault and both arguing who's' worth more to our favorite Kleptomaniac. Though the thought of the outcome makes me fear a lot...
Loyalist Fulgrum with apparently demon Batman Naruto Corax! Seriously I don't know if the dude was trolling everyone with the excerpt on 40klore on reddit. Yet he made an excerpt of a book that showed Corax hunting Logar. He wasn't human, and made all the Chaos Marines crap their suits.
I mean, I love me some Rogal Dorn and the Fisting he does on the enemies of the imperium. Just narratively speaking. Games work shop needs to work spicing him, and the imperial fist/successor chapters up with more lead-up lore. With the Dark angels we Had in 9th edition of them gathering up a fleet to find the Luthor and the large gathering of *the fallen* that he (and probably still is) mustering up with unknown intentions. Then the great rift happened and the arks of omen series. We get introduced to the demon Vashtor. Vashtor came in and invaded the rock, then the dark angels invaded his home turf and got almost annihilated until The lion and blood angels showed up. The white Scars have a Similar set up. We heard in 8th edition that Jaghati went to hunt down some Dark Eldar after the Heresy and theres been rumors and hints from the Dark Eldar themselves of somewarrior who hunts them in the webway. Maybe has shown up in Commorragh. Then we got a brotherhood (a space marine company equivalent for the white scars) in the webway currently looking for him. Then the final thing is, Vashtor's fortress daemon world "Wormwood" is now able to go in the webway. It sure would be convenient for a primarch to throw a badass wrench in abbadon's and Vashtor's plans. Just saying, there's a lot of good set up to return and I cant wait to see if Jaghati had his warp powers awaken to become one with the speed force and actually fulfill that Duel him and Fulgrim talked about during the Heresy. Remember that he is also one if not the second best duelist/swordsman among the primarchs, and that'd be cool to witness against daemon fulgrim. Its also chance for games workshop to make the white scars pretty awesome. I'm have some faith given these events will have Jaghati be next.
.... about the spicing up imperial fist successors does every one forget that the black Templars are children of dorn. Though I agree the codex complient fist chapters including the imperial fist them selves are a little bland.
@xerty5502 I mean this more so in the sense that there needs to be a lead up of some sort. Black templars are pretty badass, but theres no lore hinting that badassery to rogal dorns return. Something like a small crusade through the eye of terror against the iron warriors because they found the gauntlet of rogal dorn's hand or something like that should be an initiation to the lore of rogal dorn's return.
@@tevin4006 faith enough and eas not particuraly singling you out saw several other comments that seemed to overlook that I just decided it was worth a response when I got to yours
considering I was right last time (for once) with this logic, I'm gonna stick with GW releasing Primark's that would be actively fighting against chaos and the tyranids, but would be too self interested to help stop the inquisition or repair the Imperium. which means, unfortunately for some, it's probably gonna be Leman Russ....... I mean I'd love to be wrong... I miss Vulkan also, going off your logic of Primarchs being released with versus boxes, how fucked would it be if one of the new releases went off the premise of "oh, those last 4 artifacts? yeah. Trazyn stole all of them. Salamanders vs Necrons, bitcheeeeeeees!"
I agree with the Rogal Dorn theory with him not having a hand and getting the Emperor's claw. However, you're forgetting that Russ already has an artifact, the Emperor's Spear. So in terms of the order of artifacts that each primarch gets I think the artifact they get from daddy is the last thing on GW's mind when deciding their return. Also while the Wulfen theory is intriguing, some of us Vlka Fenkryka fans are really tired of the wolf this wolf that shit and our primarch being a literal wolf would not help. I instead hope they lean more into the Norse mythology inspiration having Leeman Russ be an Odin-like God of War possibly stabbing himself to learn the truth as that's what the Spear of the Emperor shows to whoever gets stabbed by it. I also think this theory is more founded as Leeman has been shown to know the Rune craft that his legion practices regularly communicating with the psykers in his chapter to guide them. Another thing of note, not all of the 13th great company succumbed to the curse of the wulfen, as they have their Wolf Priests there to guide their feral brethren. It would feel really dumb if some high-ranking chaplain/apothecaries could resist the curse in the warp yet their literal primarch can't. Also, the cognitive dissonance between Leeman communicating with his psykers through runes and then turning out to be a literal werewolf is kind of ridiculous even by Warhammer 40K standards, like the wulfen are supposed to be feral bloodthirsty ravagers I have a hard time imagining that if Leeman Russ was a wulfen he'd actually take the time to communicate with his sons instead of rip and tearing his way through hell.
In myth didn't Odin drink from a well Russ could have interacted or fallen in the well of eternity I like the Odin battle mage idea where Russ is now actually using his potent pysker ability Isn't he the third most potent after magnus and mortarion
Apologies if this has already been stated, but for the record, Dorn did not disappear right after he fought Alpharius (or Omegon, or a random Alpha legionaire), he vanished during a boarding action against the black legion, long time after the siege of terra. I believe it was sometime during the scouring, if not later. Good vid though, and having Lord Adornable back in the setting would be awesome.
It might just be cope as a blood angels player, but I don't think Sanguinius is ENTIRELY out of the picture, cause I'm pretty sure he's spoken to Dante on more than one occasion, and even supposedly brought him back to life in the Devastation of Baal, though that's debated whether it was actually him or just a hallucination. If he came back, I think it would be in a more metaphorical sense rather than a physical one, since if he just straight up came back completely it would theoretically cure the blood angels of the black rage, and completely ruin the tragedy of his sacrifice during the heresy...
With so many new books featuring the Black Templars recently, I would have to agree with you. We have gotten a Sigismund, Helebrecht, The Gods of Mars Trilogy, the 6th Dawn of Fire Novel, I would have to say that your theory is spot on the more I think about it. We haven't gotten any new Space Wolves novels lately, but we have been getting plenty of novels related to the Imperial Fists, s it makes sense that Rogal Dorn would be the next Primarch to return.
I'd place some faith in Leman and Valdor returning at some point fairly soon since the not so long ago reveal of the King in Yellow suggests Valdor's return is soon(ish). And because of the relationship between the Apollonian and Dionysian spears, Russ's return has a possibility of being linked to Valdor as well.
It should 100% be Jaghatai. Dude went into the webway, he could just come back like that one day, and he could easily be the same age before he left. Also, having a decent, non-autistic dude helping the imperium would be a fresh breath of air
@@evanfish4505honestly just having him show up with zero fan fare. Sneaking the fuck back in would be entirely appropriate. Just shows up next to Roboute on a battlefield. Would be some of the best writing GW could do for him
My wildcard prediction is Sanguinius. Why? It would make the in game history rhyme. There are already plenty of callbacks to the Unremembered Empire books from HH. And what's more iconic than having Bobby G, and the Lion be in friction only for the Bird boy to come and calm everything down as the new Emperor. My other hints him returning? Plenty in the lore actually, calling how his soul is still there, how his body is intact and how his speaking to ahm.. Certain people.
I think Russ is most likely to return of the loyalist primarchs from a purely business point of view. Theyve brought back all the Chaos Legion splat codex primarchs (except fulgrim, but thats pretty likely to happen too), so I think theyre gonna do the same for loyalists. And theyve started with Jonson. Sanguinius is dead, and Templars, Deathwatch and (if you wanna count them) Grey Knights don't have a primarch of their own (I mean Dorn is the Templars' primarch, but yknow) so that leaves Russ. I think the galaxy being cracked in half can be counted as whatever the wolf time is.
I think the chances of the Khan coming back are higher than most because of how the Arks of Omen ended and the end game of Vashtor being in the webway. Where the Khan just happens to be. But that's just my opinion. Keep up the good videos Arthur.
What about that Lions new book, where Big E literally asked him to bring back Sanguinius? There were hints with chalice and spear at the table near sick oll king, but those went over Lion's head.
I dunno about most likely, but personally u think the most interesting to come back would be the Khan or Corvus, as they are the most likely to lead to interesting changes/challenges for the imperium. If they are bring the primarchs back I wanna see Conflict within the imperium, not just them all work together
Correct me if im wrong but im sure the Emperor's Armour was melted down and made into the Crux Terminatus? Seeing Rogal donning the lightning claw would be fucking awesome aswell.
Jaghatai Khan coming back, if done correctly, could be a super interesting story. The White Scars are one of the most thematically unique and cool chapters but for some reason GW hardly writes anything for them. We know Kor'sarro Khan crossed the Rubicon Primaris but that's about it in terms of recent major plot points. The previous Chapter Master, Kyublai Khan, disappeared into the Webway chasing the Dark Eldar that had raided Chogoris and never came back, so his successor, Jubal Khan, was named. Why not have a cool story where Kor'sarro goes into the Webway looking for the missing Chapter Master and on his quest he finds Jaghatai and they along with the newly freed captured marines fight their way back out and return to Chogoris in victory, perhaps we could even have some more human moments where perhaps Kyublai is forced to make a sacrifice for his brother marines and Primarch to escape? I actually like the idea of "The Emperor's Cape" being a genuine piece of artifact wargear, Jaghatai could totally wear it, that vibrant red would fit his color scheme and how flashy the White Scars are. Dorn coming back is also super cool ad opens up other possibilities, I like the idea of him being SUPER pissed and instead of donning the standard yellow of the Imperial Fists he instead puts on the black and white of the Black Templars and crusades harder than anyone has ever crusaded before, I also just want more Crimson Fists stories and bringing back Dorn means we could potentially get that, Primaris Pedro Kantor and the return of Alessio Cortez would be very much welcome, Crimson Fists are one of the best written chapters and they deserve more stories.
Imagine if sanguinius actually gets up from the coffin. Sucks up a bunch of primaris bois and says "i'back bitches" and proceedes to SLAUGHTER an entire hive invasion.
Tbh I think looking at the specifics with the space marine store things it’s more likely to be leman because the space wolves have a ridiculously large data sheet of space wolf only models
I think it makes more sense for Leman Russ to come back with the claw since wolves have claws or whatever. Claws aren't really a fist it would be better for Dorne to come back with a massive power fist replacing his lost hand and wearing the emperors golden armor since Dorne's armor was also gold. That makes more sense to me at least. I like your idea too tho I could go either way
I'd love to see Jaghatai come back first because he's the wildcard and he would shake things up the most .... but i'm deeply rooted in yellow-bois squad so i'd be fine with Dorn too
If/when Dorn returns, I’d like it to be an answer to Peter Turbo. Petulant man children the both of them. They have some major beef to grill, and I’m making the popcorn.
The next Primarch returning is 110% Fulgrim with an Emp's Children range refresh and Codex followed by Lemon Russ at the end of 10th around spring 2026.
As I said on Valraks channel, I think Jaghatai will return after Russ (who will probably show up with Kaldor Draigo and Constantine Valdor with him). Guilliman set Nurgles garden ablaze, which would have acted as a beacon to Russ within the warp, who would find the Tree of Life he has been searching for in Isha, freeing her from Nurgle before returning to realspace. The return of Russ will come with a range refresh for the Wolves, and a significant power up for all four factions of the Eldar, with the Drukhari update narratively expanding on the Khan's whereabouts and eventual return.
i totally agree. Also check out old john blance artwork of Dorn, he's wearing what seems to be an oversized lightning claw glove, so there's already precedence for him yoinking his dad's glove
I believe that the next Primarch to return has to be one that was actually at the Siege of Terra. With Sanguinius dead that only leaves Dorn, The Khan, and Vulkan. I love your reasoning on why Dorn is next, the Emperor's claw replacing his missing hand is so believable i want it to be apart of a model, but I like the idea that The Khan returns and his only other brothers are the two that simply never trusted him.
The thing about Dorn is that he was completely into the idea of the Imperium and it’s ideals of anti religion stated by the Emperor, so if Gulliman has a tough time accepting how things are then there is a chance that Dorn completely looses it when he sees what has happened to his precious empire.
I'd love it if they bought back Dorn, realised he lost his right hand in some obscure lore piece and ended up with him having 2 left hands :D Much chortling would follow.
Jagatai is the easiest to write to come back from a lore perspective and the Gatorade logo bois need some love. If anything i think the order will be Fullgrim, wait a year then Jagatai, wait a year or 2 then Logar, then about a year after that Valdor will make a comeback. I don't see Russ coming back until the very near endtimes with hopefully Corax popping up in the lore here and there. However I do agree with you about the Emperors Powerclaw being a good idea
When I clicked on this I thought it was a video about TTS, since a plot point in that series is the Primarches returning as the Emperor slowly but surely brings them all back into his fold.
Fulgrim and clonegrim would be the best opportunity for some kickass writing. An entire character arc of clonegrim proving to his brothers his loyalty and love for their father, while trying to write the wrongs of the original Fulgrim... that story has so much potential.
That moment when the reasoning for Dorn is also more applicable to Russ when he has a weapon of the emperor that is literally fate bound to him that he’s already used during the Horus Heresy. Shoutout the Emperor’s Spear. Corax I think is much more likely than you’re giving him credit for. And that’s mainly due to his connection with Lorgar and Lorgar being the most likely traitor to appear after Fulgrim.
To be fair, as an imperial fist player i would love to see Rogal Dorn returning (even he now only have one imperial fist left...). But from the financial aspect... and let's keep it real the financial aspect is very important to GW, it's more likely that Leman Russ will return next. Why's that? Well the Space Wolves are one of the coolest Chapters but haven't been updated for quite a while. The models are clunky, old and just outdated. It would make sense to me, that GW will bring out a WHOLE bunch of new Space Wolves models with their Primarch so everyone (including me) would start collecting Space Wolves again. The point that he would probably come out of the warp as some kind of wulfen or "feral" primarch isn't that hard for them to turn into lore. I mean the last Space wolves models were Wulfen and everyone just said "okay cool" plus Leman was always the most "feral" primarch of them all. So yeah. I'd be happy with both of them being the next one to return :)
Dodn didn't disappear after Alpharius. It was during one of the early Black Crusades. He was the one to carry his father to the Golden Throne, and he persisted for the next 3k years iirc, and then he was vanished during the Black Crusade with his hand being the only thing recovered.
The Dorn claw theory is cool, but i hope they wait to release him alongside perturabo because of the obvious rivalry, the claw could also work for Leman because of the whole wolf thing, they could also just make new items for the primarchs, like they did shield
I personally believe that if Russ came back he’d be less like a werewolf and more like a wiser Odin kind of character as opposed to the Thor he was during the Great Crusade and Heresy. He does already have a spear and Odin does have a pair of pet wolves so that could be represented by the 13th Great Company
It's funny how a lot of the fans where going crazy for any clue about wich primarch would go next after guilliman came, the lion came and after celebrating the cycle repeats itself, and probably will repeat until all the primarch get on the side of the imperium, if the hobbye survives that long of course
I imagine that with Fulgrim being the upcoming Demon Primarch and the Emperor's Children and Slaanesh getting line reworks, that the next Primarch to return should be Jaghatai Khan. Both Primarchs are tied to each other by Cegorach having switched them when they were jettisoned into the void as babies, they are historic rivals (see the "strange things to your men" incident), they are polar opposites in terms of personality even prior to Fulgrim's fall to Chaos, and they are both loosely tied to the Eldar (who are also in need of a rework and mini refresh after so long). Slaanesh is the mortal enemy of the Eldar as a whole, and the Ynnari (before GW dumped their story due to poor sales) were actively working towards finding all 5 Crone Swords so they can awaken Ynnead to give the Eldar as a race a fighting chance against Chaos and bring them back as a major faction in the setting (which doesn't necessarily mean killing Slaanesh, just that Slaanesh would need to quit being a lazy bum and actually have its forces engage in the setting), and the Imperium under Guilliman has been more tolerant of the Eldar (Yvraine memes aside)... I can see Cegorach sacrificing himself to help the Ynnari steal the fifth Crone Sword from Slaanesh's palace with the help of Jaghatai who has been in the Webway chasing Drukhari all this time. After that, I would want to see Demon Lorgar come back with an update to Chaos Undivided and Corvus Corax come back to fight him. Then after that, I want to see Chaos-Demon-Dreadnought Perturabo come back and Vashtorr ascend to become the fifth (or sixth, depending on the canonicity of Malice/Malal) Chaos God, and his rival Dorn can return in that time as well.
Hey Mr. Bones. I've read about Dorn, No one knows if he is dead or MIA. Apparently, the ship he was last seen on was reported to not have been made 600 years after his last appearance. And only his hands were ever recovered. Konrad Curse foresaw his death along with Sanguineous and Ferus' deaths. Then again on all his visions are arcuate. If you are right, I'm very sure he's probably locked in a cell on The Vengeful spirit, or on another important Black Legion Ship just to ruin his day or being humiliated. But then again, he did lead a siege with no sleep for months who knows what would happen.
I think the big thing that also supports Dorn, like you said, his legion is one of the most popular. If we got Roboute and Lion as the first two, Dorn is likely too cause that would be the most financially likely decision.
Corvus Corax is the most make sense, that doesn't make redundancy in functionality to the Imperium. Roboute Guilleman is a Leader, Lion El Johnson is a Fighter, Corvus Corax is an Assassin working in the shadow.
Fun add-on. Though he carried Storm's Teeth into battle and is a master swordsman, Dorn's favored weapon is said to be a lightning claw... I lost the source on that one. It's like a weird, off-hand comment level of lore, but it's why I've always been confused as to why the Imperial Fist don't have a lightning claw relic. The Fist of Terra makes more sense to be used by the Crimson Fists as the removal of the hit penalty and/or extra attack favors their more aggressive style of play.
My guess is Jaghatai Khan. Vashtorr is going to accidentally release him in the Webway. The end of The Arks of Omen basically told everyone Vashtorr can create new entrances/exits to and from it with Wyrmwood completed.
Jaghatai Khan is more likely than you think, consider this for the story reason. Fulgrim is getting shit on for not doing much and when he does it usually ends poorly so in order to get back into Slannesh's good graces he goes and attacks a large group of Dark Eldar that are watching over an oddity in the webway, maybe with all the stuff happening in real space a new hole opened up long enough for him to make his way in. He arrives and finds the Khan trapped in a time bubble. Stuff happens the Khan gets released, possibly getting a bit of help from emps and brought back to real space coming back just as he was ten thousand years ago
Corax has to come back when they want to make Lorgar a thing. I do think with the nids threatening Terra Dorn would make sense now. Plus I would love to see the last wall call all of the templars back so we can get an idea of exactly how codex noncompliant their numbers actually are.
I never thought about the emperor's claw thing with Dorn. That would be fucking awesome. Truly, he would become THE imperial fist. Amazing video I'm really hyped for Dorn now.
In order from most likely to least likely 1. Corvus corax, because we know he's still alive for sure 2. Vulcan, they only need a few more pieces of his equipment to summon him 3. The Khan, He's either lost in the webway or a prisoner in Commorragh 4. Rogue Dawn, you could have gotten thrown in to a warp portal and got spit out the other end in the future like the risen or the fallen of the dark Angels 5. Lehman Russ. He has to be last because he went looking for the world tree to restore the emperor following this logic and this storyline he will have what is needed to wake the emperor up out of the golden throne so he has to be last.
Honestly when a primarch comes back I want them to come back with a demon primarch ie: dawn and perti or Corvus and bitchy ass prayer boy, so that can’t just be running around fixing everything because they are dealing with the others primarch
Yes a Emperor's children vs Imperial Fists box sounds really cool, but what I really need to see is Traitor vs Loyalist Emperor's Children Box. I need that Fulgrim on Fulgrim violence.
Dorn makes the most sense, especially for the triumvirate of Guilliman's "Imperium Secundus" story. Helps rebuild the empire before the traitor's return to wreck humanity. Russ would be too much like the Lion, doing his own thing while hunting down threats. Besides, Russ and Vulcan both claim to return during a "specific time/event" when they will be most needed. So, I see them returning at a later date.

And Corvus would say, I've got ONE more thing I gotta do, be right with you. And then he'd flap away, and Russ would giggle and say "Hahaha, big birdy" and back to the Empire he would go.

The writer who did that storyline has left GW. And other writers usually dont mess with lore that someone else has created, so it is quite unlikely
Yeah! GW never introduce something just to bench it forever right...right?
Yeah nah
Gw writers are currently attempting to beat there arch rivals (chimps with type writers) so are far to busy to pick up any of there plot lines

Meanwhile, GW writers: Not fair! Those monkeys write with 15 fingers and a tail!
Frikin awsome I love it.
GW. Doing something properly...
It's a good idea and that's why it's not happening.
So basically, something similar to TTS Dorn's design.

Furthermore, The One True Armor is not a feasibly attainable Emperor Relic as it was melted down to make the original Teminus Crux medals for the Imperial Fists that fought alongside him against unspeakable odds at the Siege of Terra (and are now made by removing pieces from the Right Gauntlet of The Emperor (which has the unusual trait of it being able to regenerate pieces that are removed) which is in possession of the Dark Angels, having been separated before the One True Armor was melted down)
The Khan rides out of the webway in “borrowed” dark Eldar bikes and looks at Gulliman and says, “Sup”
I think as the Emperor is getting ready to be more involved, maybe Rogal Dorn would be his next piece to come back, the Tyrannids seem to be unstoppable, the empire needs a glorious defense to hold the line
BUG SPRAY WALL
I think it would be a realky cool twist if they brought back clonegrim and fulgrim at the same time, even though its not super logical
@@86pp73 as shown at Cadia, Trazyn will release portions of his collection if he deems it necessary. Fruit for thought.
@@86pp73 He is in Trazyn's collection. That's confirmed in the second Bile book.

I would say that same pattern with 4 Chaos gods may be applicable to Loyal forces, as we do have our divirgent chapters with their unique units (such as Deathwing, Sanguinary guard, Wulfen, etc), so it is logical to assume that these legions will receive updates first of all, along with their primarchs, because GW loves money.

i like your Dorn theory a lot. here's my Corvus idea for whenever he shows up: Guilliman or Lion are tracking Lorgar who has been seen in realspace(hes fleeing Corvus).
Sons of the Emperor against Sons of the Phoenix, a mini civil war in each faction over their ideals, the SotE questioning of what they did was right and whether the endless pursuit of pleasure vs the joy of living for others, the SotP questioning their origins and showing that it’s the person not the gene seed that determines their loyalties, the best vs worst versions of Fulgrim, the Iron Hands seeking revenge for their Primarch, the Eldar aiming to end their war with Slanessh…
So much juicy material there.
I agree! In the end, lore is more important than what gift each primarch gets from the Emperor.
Speed Force Jaghati would be something awesome indeed
.... about the spicing up imperial fist successors does every one forget that the black Templars are children of dorn.
I miss Vulkan
also, going off your logic of Primarchs being released with versus boxes, how fucked would it be if one of the new releases went off the premise of "oh, those last 4 artifacts? yeah. Trazyn stole all of them. Salamanders vs Necrons, bitcheeeeeeees!"
I would actually sell one of my own limbs for that box
@@mr.toastable672 not if I sell mine first
I agree with the Rogal Dorn theory with him not having a hand and getting the Emperor's claw.
In myth didn't Odin drink from a well
Russ could have interacted or fallen in the well of eternity
I like the Odin battle mage idea where Russ is now actually using his potent pysker ability
Isn't he the third most potent after magnus and mortarion
Apologies if this has already been stated, but for the record, Dorn did not disappear right after he fought Alpharius (or Omegon, or a random Alpha legionaire), he vanished during a boarding action against the black legion, long time after the siege of terra. I believe it was sometime during the scouring, if not later. Good vid though, and having Lord Adornable back in the setting would be awesome.
Your good we knew what you meant 😂 👍
I want to like Corvus more. No justification, no real reason, I just want to like him and the Raven Guard more. Get on it GW. Get on it.
I kinda want GW to just drop him on the site one day. No fanfare, no trailer, just put him under raven guard randomly as a joke

I think "Wolf time" is vague enoght to be anytime GW choose to take money from the Space Wolf players, so yeah, this is the most likely theory to me.
I think the chances of the Khan coming back are higher than most because of how the Arks of Omen ended and the end game of Vashtor being in the webway. Where the Khan just happens to be. But that's just my opinion. Keep up the good videos Arthur.
wtf is Vash the mechanoid typhoon gonna do against 2 primarchs actively trying to beat his ass?
What about that Lions new book, where Big E literally asked him to bring back Sanguinius? There were hints with chalice and spear at the table near sick oll king, but those went over Lion's head.
It would be incredibly ironic if Dorn comes back and gets the Emperor's lightning claws. The Primarch of the Imperial Fists unable to make a fist
Roboute has the Emperor's sword, Lion has the Emperor's shield.
Vulkan will have the Emperor's hammer, THE Warhammer 40,000.
Come on Rogal Dorn. Let the Imperial Fisting (re)commence!
I dunno about most likely, but personally u think the most interesting to come back would be the Khan or Corvus, as they are the most likely to lead to interesting changes/challenges for the imperium.
If they are bring the primarchs back I wanna see Conflict within the imperium, not just them all work together
Plot twist: GW plans to bring back Bobby G at LEAST 5 more times!
I think that Corvus will be next since he is confirmed to be alive as a raven monster Batman.
Dorn is actually Alpharius wearing his face
Imagine if sanguinius actually gets up from the coffin. Sucks up a bunch of primaris bois and says "i'back bitches" and proceedes to SLAUGHTER an entire hive invasion.
The magic claw glove has spoken.
Croax needs to come back with Lorgars head in his hand.
Fulgrim hopefully will get the redemption arc he deserves with Clonegrim and the restoration of his soul.
Can't wait for 2 years out when ferris is the new model with a release of an imperial daemons army for bones to scream I told you so
Tbh I think looking at the specifics with the space marine store things it’s more likely to be leman because the space wolves have a ridiculously large data sheet of space wolf only models
I like your idea too tho I could go either way
it makes more sense character wise too, with Dorn (and perti) being the armor of the imperium in a sense
Consider though: golden dreadnought Dorn with the Emperor's Claw

I'd love to see Jaghatai come back first because he's the wildcard and he would shake things up the most .... but i'm deeply rooted in yellow-bois squad so i'd be fine with Dorn too
If/when Dorn returns, I’d like it to be an answer to Peter Turbo. Petulant man children the both of them. They have some major beef to grill, and I’m making the popcorn.
Peter Turbo is more of a man-child than Rogal. Also I think if they do face off Dorn will have a clearer head and kicked Peter Turbo's ass
The next Primarch returning is 110% Fulgrim with an Emp's Children range refresh and Codex followed by Lemon Russ at the end of 10th around spring 2026.
As I said on Valraks channel,
I think Jaghatai will return after Russ (who will probably show up with Kaldor Draigo and Constantine Valdor with him).
One would think Russ, Vulkhan, Dorn is more likely... and I'd think the Khan is more likely than Dorm.
"Love me or hate me, but don't ignore me"
Konrad being curzed into obscurity 😢
Alpha Legion Primarus Codex when
That moment when the reasoning for Dorn is also more applicable to Russ when he has a weapon of the emperor that is literally fate bound to him that he’s already used during the Horus Heresy.
I'd dig Dorn with Big E's lightning claw.
That's a fuckin' mental image.
I personally believe that if Russ came back he’d be less like a werewolf and more like a wiser Odin kind of character as opposed to the Thor he was during the Great Crusade and Heresy. He does already have a spear and Odin does have a pair of pet wolves so that could be represented by the 13th Great Company
If they bring back Dorn, they BETTER give him that Stache! You know exactly which one
Alpharius and omegon disguised as dorn and fulgrim would be the most since to me
It's funny how a lot of the fans where going crazy for any clue about wich primarch would go next after guilliman came, the lion came and after celebrating the cycle repeats itself, and probably will repeat until all the primarch get on the side of the imperium, if the hobbye survives that long of course
"Gather all the imperials fist and the imperials shall in fact fist"
- Mr bones
Angron: when earth shatteringly mad just doesn't quite cover it
I love your theory, it is a very sound one. I like it a lot.
I actually like your reasoning for Form being next! Would love to see For and the Khan return!
The next event is Big E standing up and getting a glass of water, and sitting back down.
Dorn the primarch who got me into 40k, I so wish he would he back
I think the big thing that also supports Dorn, like you said, his legion is one of the most popular.
You know what will be next for 40k.............
THE SKAVEN
That Rogal theory has legs, but only one hand. You've cracked it son.
Or he’s been in the palace the whole time posing as a centurion getting cuddle sessions from the emperor
You forgot about the one primarch who isn't a primarch, Constintaine Valdor
For the Khan!!!
Strongly agree with Rogal Dorn, it DOES make a lot of sense.
Here I simply sit, waiting for an update to that miniature of Leman Russ from over thirty years ago now...
Russ comes back and says the Cape still smells like the emperor
In order from most likely to least likely
1. Corvus corax, because we know he's still alive for sure
2. Vulcan, they only need a few more pieces of his equipment to summon him
3. The Khan, He's either lost in the webway or a prisoner in Commorragh
4. Rogue Dawn, you could have gotten thrown in to a warp portal and got spit out the other end in the future like the risen or the fallen of the dark Angels
5. Lehman Russ. He has to be last because he went looking for the world tree to restore the emperor following this logic and this storyline he will have what is needed to wake the emperor up out of the golden throne so he has to be last.
Leman Russ would be armed with the emperor's spear he recieved from Big E himself after they met.
Dorn as number 1? I think Russ is more likely. I would like to see Corvus Corax sooner than later.
Bring back the Uuuh, Hi intro. Makes me laugh every time ngl
