Congratulations, you made it to Daemon Prince. Good news, you have the best job in Chaos. Bad news, you are probably getting the toughest jobs in the Long War and Be'Lakor automatically hates you because he's still pissy about not being an only child anymore.
@@TheBoneZone40kits actually a pretty intelligent choice now that i give it a thought. If you can actually manage to be someone who actively entertains Tzeench. If you can become someone he WANTS to stick around. You're set. At that point only other greater demonic beings would be ablebto even scratch you.
Cegorach enters the chat, yoinks the troll for himself, laughs, and disappears into the deep Weebway. Tzeench proceeds to pretend like it's all a part of his Grand Plan.
I’d become one through sheer math. There is diminishing returns to the gifts, so I must find the strongest single gift to do as a start. I will set up for years, decades, centuries, for the greatest troll ever. Mathematically efficient.
Honestly becoming a deamon prince is like a 1% of the 1% type of deal. You could legitimately count the number of people in the galaxy who successfully achieved it and it would likely be less than 100. That being said, tzeentch or khorne are your best bets. Khorne s is simple- murder in a way he like enough and you will likely get deamonhood. Tzeentch is kinda a Russian roulette-there is just as much of a chance you become a chias spawn as you do a demon, but Tzeentch LOVES ambition and overly optimistic hope, And even if you don’t become a demon prince you can also settle for just being an incrediblely powerful space wizard( albeit with a few tentacles)
I'd argue there's a couple dozen thousand considering the 40k setting has untold but massive number of beings(anywhere from trillions to septillions) . Still an incredibly small number mind you. But just enough for their to be a stream of varied big baddies from different areas to banish that isn't just the same guy(s)
I don’t think Khorne’s a good bet at all given the fact that the only path to daemonhood through him is to just throw yourself into battle with suicidal abandon over and over and over. Yeah it’s super straightforward, but it’s also how you get yourself killed really, really, fast. The vast majority of Khorne worshippers are gonna get themselves killed loooong before they ever see anything even resembling a boon. A life time of near uninterrupted combat still means that your chances of finding yourself on the wrong end of a mega bolter, or an earth shaker artillery shell, is constantly increasing with each passing moment. This is especially true if you are not a Space Marine. So good luck surviving to achieving apotheosis. The odds are incredibly stacked against you.
This reminds me of Tim, a homebrew daemon prince I read about. He was the worst tactician in the Astra Militarum, getting 8 million people killed, 8 planets destroyed, and having 8 ships in the fleet destroyed. The Big 4, thinking that because the number 8 was involved again and again it was intentional, ascended the completely oblivious Tim to daemonhood. However, he really doesn’t like Chaos but won’t go directly against the gods because he’s a massive coward, so he leads the forces given to him to places where he thinks they’ll suffer the most losses. Unfortunately for Tim, once a lot of these planets hear that a massive fuck-off chaos fleet approaching they quickly evacuate and his armies face minimal resistance, which gives Chaos a lot of major victories. Basically, he’s chaos Ciaphas Cain.
If you're already devoted to the Chaos Gods then servitude to them only ends in one of 3 ways, death, daemonhood, or spawndom. Might as well shoot for the stars and make your best attempt at daemonhood. Also if you like the books, Storm of Iron has a good depiction of a Chaos Lord in the process of ascension.
personally i feel that khorne is the best god to devote yourself as, mostly because his motivation is very simple and usually i think that his punishments would be mostly hyperdeath.
We’re actually kinda chill here despite all the hyperdeath around you. We got flexible working hours so you can choose your own shifts and Boss Khorne is actually pretty reasonable, anything’s fair game except for backstabbing. Aaaand that’s about it, welcome to Chaos! :D
Honestly? I’d consider him the worst. Because you’re in a perpetual state of sheer rage. Sounds awful to me. At least with the others you have a wider range of motions?
His punishments would just be be like solitary confinement with nobody to fight. Korne would consider getting brutally murdered to be like a reward, lol.
Honestly, If you're so far down the Chaos kool-aid that you get to become a Daemon Prince, you probably won't even WANT to contradict your patron god anymore.
@@TheBoneZone40k Yeah, but that's very very rare though, usually the Chaos Gods give zero Fs to individual mortals, and the few times a mortal draws their eye is either after they spent a lifetime devoting themselves and countless sacrifices to their patron, or the case where the individual is already aligned to their chaos god's profile and goals, albeit unintentionally.
NGL, Khorne is definitely the best option for daemon princehood. the brutal simplicity of "kill everyone or get your shit shoved in" is honestly pretty lax, at lest compared to eternal torture, eternal disease, or being noclipped through the floor and falling through reality like those 2 poor fucks from the Call of Cthulhu
Ik all gods would do this, but especially with khorne you as a person are very much gone when you reach demon princehood, you cant enjoy the fruits of your labor since your very personality is nothing but slaughter
Valkia the Bloody ascension to daemonhood describes how it goes. It confirms what you said. Her souls is taken by khorne and replaced with an extension of himself. Daemon primarch princes are another thing. Basicly GWS can make them do whatever the fuck they want and just say :"It was the whole Emperor making a deal with the Four -thing" as an excuse.
I think you made the road to daemonhood sound even less terrible than it actually is. One has to remember that with each “gift” from the gods, the more you get addicted to their power and influence. The more Khorne favors you, the more you need to kill to the point that you are in actual pain whenever you are not violently bisecting a sentient creature. And this is all assuming you survive long enough to get to the point that you can impress the gods, which would involve countless battles, fatal tests and trials, foiling plots of fellow chaos worshipers trying to supplant you in favor of the gods and just generally surviving everyday life surrounded by daemons and chaos crazed maniacs. Failure at any point in this process btw almost always ends in eternal damnation. And even if you survive all that, the chaos gods basically have the reverence of a trolling neck bearded redditor and are just as likely to reward you with daemonhood as they are to turn you into a puckered asshole with a tongue sticking out for the lolz. Yeah I think I’ll take my chances with Gork and Mork instead
In the Kingsblade book, which is about imperial knights, there’s a word bearer traitor who is about to ascend to daemonhood, but he had to sacrifice an entire planet and it was made clear that this wasn’t the first planet he had sacrificed, it wasn’t even the fifth, guy had been sacrificing entire systems of planets to the Chaos gods. It was possible his price was a little higher though since he wasn’t following a specific patron but going the Belakor route
Personal I think slaanesh is the best god to become a permanent servant of well compared to the other 3. For khorne you have to constantly kill and get skulls for his favor, Nurgle you look absolutely horrible and yes you won’t feel it but at the start of joining nurgle you still feel it just read the book lords of silence where a new death guard is reconsidering choosing the death guard and the changing will turn his great demon princes to Chaos spawn because he thinks it’s funny
Slaanesh curses daemons for literally no reason and Lucius' blessing is a goofy little prank so he can never get better because he can never rematch anyone who beats him.
Khorne is the best because it's straight-forward. Simply be stronger and more powerful than all of your enemies and slay them. There's no guessing game or chance of him trolling you for the fun of it like Slanessh or Tzeentch, and Nurgle is just too weak to justify trying to gain his power.
Its 40k, you cant realistically run out of topics, go nuts, do whichever topic you want, keep up the good work, these are nice! The legions one are cool, but I like that you mix some other topics in.

I would check out a video of how grass grows in the 40K universe at this point if that's what Mr. Bones decided to talk about, I just find the content that entertaining and refreshing.
For demon princes I think from least to best would be Tzeentch, khorne, slaanesh, nurgle. Tzeentch is so mercurial that, no matter how far up you climb, he's more than happy to fuck you over for the slightest advantage. You might find yourself a demon prince, but only so another champion can power some demon engine/weapon or other device. Khorne is probably the easiest/simplest to receive demonhood from. The benefits of his favour mean that you're probably going to do a decent job from that point forward without too much effort. But that's also kinda the problem: following khorne often means your brain is going to become more and more useless. Being one of his chosen can kinda be...boring I imagine since you ultimately are just focused on killing. Slaanesh has some of the mercurial issues that Tzeentch has, but is arguably more reliable (ie predictable). Despite being a complete hedonist, you probably maintain more of your mental faculties than some of the other paths, which is something I would value. Slaanesh also opens up more diverse means for worship, allowing you to be more creative with your eternal service (look up Mistress of Spite, demon prince of Contrition, for an example). The frequent dick measuring contests and Slaanesh's love for picking favorites do make this a somewhat fraught path tho. And Nurgle. Yes you are gross, but that becomes completely immaterial to you quite soon after you become devoted to him in the first place. You maintain your mind and your "flesh" becomes much more resilient. Despite being seen perhaps as "one note" using plagues and disease, there is actually a fair bit of creative opportunity within these tools to be entertaining and creatively challenging. Nurgle is more conservative and caring for his champions from my perspective and less likely to throw you away. Rivalries of course exist, but from what I can tell they are less pernicious than those of other gods. Also, unlike tzeentch or Slaanesh, pleasing Nurgle is less of a guessing game so it isn't as hard to figure out what you should be doing--tho it isn't as straightforward as Khorne.
Tzeentch probably, sure he is the most likely to turn you into a Chaos spawn, but in the case you succeed he probably will let you do whatever the hell you want, because unlike the other gods he doesn't give orders but prefers to manipulate people into doing stuff for him.
Congratulations on reaching 1,000 subscribers. And you did it under your own merit, too. And not from just reading a page or two from a codex or Wikipedia.
Warhemmer fantasy you can actually become other types of demon princess such as a demon prince of the horned rat or hashut. Since all chaos gods can technically elevate you from mortal to demon. 😅
@@TheBoneZone40k yea but ironically knowing about fantasy helps understand some GW modeling design and how some things are conected. Especially how GW is doing squats because they are also designing chaos dwarfs.
@@memesofwarhemmer7076 In AoS There is no deamon prince of the horned rat, there are just different verminlords which are the singular manifestations of the skaven god even though they are now canonically chaos.

@@memesofwarhemmer7076Warhammer Fantasy really does explain a lot that 40k doesn't, like why Tzeentch is associated with birds (many northern tribes see him as totemic god of ravens) and why Khorne forbids the use of sorcery in combat (he encourages "honorable" combat, albeit in an incredibly twisted sense of the word). The books Liber Chaotica and Slaves to Darkness were the foundational texts upon which all of Chaos was built; they're required reading for anyone who wants to truly understand the subject.
Nurgle is always the correct answer whenever the question is some variation on "which Chaos god to serve." Still, achieving daemonhood under Tzeentch means you can do literally anything and, succeed or fail, you can tell anyone who isn't Tzeentch that it was totally part of your plan, they don't even know yet, and that's something you don't really get with the others.
Angron's just to angry to be held back. I feel like this is how that conversation when. 'Sir you must wait the alu-' *Angrons leans forward* 'I'm going back in.'
I'd probably pick Nurgle, if I get to keep my personality at least (with allowances for the necessity of becoming a war criminal even by Warhammer verses' standards). Being able to shrug off shots from light tanks sounds fun.
Another example of perma death for demon: Eisenhorn killed Prophaniti good and proper As for god of choice, Nurgle for sure Also, please continue with these, you're awesome
This channel is now codex compliant congrats. In regards to the vid subject I’ve noticed something with marines and cultures ga that worship chaos undivided like the word bearers they have the least amount of of blatant of of physical mutations and still look human vaguely . Then u have chaos/ renegade factions that don’t worship Chaos whom at best referent out right or at worst use it as a tool.
@@garrettrowe3897 It does happen. They become red orks who are bigger and stronger than normal orks but are so aggressive that they fight them selfs to death. So normal orks are more dangerous because they can work together and use better tactics.

There was a thing that happened in AOS that made me rethink the whole idea that daemon princes are worth it: khorne undid his daemon prince and turned them into a spawn. That's kinda huge, because it implies the journey to please the gods will never actually end. It also answers the question of what happens to daemon princes when the gods move onto new realms, and new realities.
Becoming a daemon prince is like a hive world man with asthma get the chnce to join the guardsmen. Oh you get a cool powerfull gun and armor but so does everyone else. The daemon prince in this scenario is being a commisar but you are more likely to die in the first 15 hours or so... have fun.

Imperium is the best advertisement for the chaos. People living such lifes would want the alternative even despite knowing the serious drawbacks it comes with. If not to better their life, then as a sign of protest.
Probably the best gods to dedicate to is to ether Nurgle or Tzeentch. Nurgle because he generally considers you to be a grandchild and normally isn’t a dick to his servants unless they really fuck up. Like Mortarion’s actions lead to the Emperor burning Nurgle’s Garden and injuring Nurgle. So him and Kugath really fucked up royally which is why they got punished. With Tzeentch he does not give a shit about you and generally gives you the illusion of free will. Meaning you can do what you want in most situations. It’s just that you’re unintentionally doing what Tzeentch wanted in the first place. Also, with Khorne that’s probably the worst in my opinion since you constantly feel rage at all times which sounds hellish. With Slaanesh you’re paying to feel constant pain and pleasure. So like you said. High highs and low lows. Nurgle and Tzeentch are probably the most consistent.
As someone who absolutely adores chaos the best version you can get is one for undivided as you ARNT required to do the will of one as the great don’t agree on much you usually have more time to yourself and your power then other princes
Khorne is probably the best chaos god to worship on account of the fact that he is easy to please won’t stab you in the back and if you anger him he’ll just hit you really fucking hard which is better than I can say for any of the others.
I would argue that the single best is Nurgle. If you can get to the point where you no longer feel pain from the diseases, then you just get to live forever and make fun new plagues for daddy.
While it isn't an exact "kill" Daemons find themselves like ghosts from Luigis mansion getting trapped in random objects, and null rods and similar items are effectively lint rollers for the lint that is warp stuff, good stuff.
It takes 8 weeks, 8 days, 8 hours, 8 minutes, and 8 seconds for angron to respawn bc korns number is 8. It takes a while for greater demons and demon princes to reform in the warp its not as instant as you said but no hate
tzeentch is the best choice mathematically because you are most likely to become a prince but also you cant really control that chance because he will probably fuck you over nurgle is best because noone else chooses that. less competition
I’d genuinely argue Nurgle is the best chaos god to pledge to if you’re end goal is daemon prince hood. Think about it, nurgle genuinely cares about etch and every one of his followers and his gifts basically turn you into a chaos spawn light. Keep spreading plague and pestilence for long enough and you have a decent chance to make it to daemon prince status.
Love your energy my guy, you stand out to me because other 40k lore channels lean too much into the grim dark earie setting with the creepy backing music and the low deep voice. You just talk about cool stuff love the videos! Btw what mic do you use ?
If I had to pick a Chaos God to become the Prince of, it'd probably be Khorne. I like his sense of honor. I know for certain if I just do as he asks, he probably won't backstab me. Unlike Tzeentch.
I'd seriously pledge my soul to Khorne if he thinks my pacifist ass is worth supercharging with angry magic. I wouldnt mind being a Berserker. On the subject of killing daemons forever: Grey Knights carry the true names of some daemons. Imagine speaking a mf's true name and he just buckles to his knees like the gravity got turned up to eleven.
Becoming a demon prince and becoming immortal is cool until you realize you can’t die even if you wanted to. I feel that immortality will start become a curse if one lives long enough.
No cuz your thoughts and ambitions are different and as a demon Prince you get your own worlds to rule over so still no matter how long you live you wouldn’t want to die that’s not you anymore
Yeah, I know Doom breed is literally just Genghis Khan. Genghis Khan was elevated to demon breed after he died because khrone was like no no no no no you’re too good.

Yeah!
I love the Vermin Lords
I am just predominantly a 40k channel, mostly because I don't know as much as I should about fantasy/old world
@@TheBoneZone40k yea but ironically knowing about fantasy helps understand some GW modeling design and how some things are conected. Especially how GW is doing squats because they are also designing chaos dwarfs.
@@memesofwarhemmer7076 In AoS There is no deamon prince of the horned rat, there are just different verminlords which are the singular manifestations of the skaven god even though they are now canonically chaos.
@@Incyted Skreech Verminking once the original menbers of the coulsul of 13 the skaven god decided to rather than chose one to become a powerful vermilord he fused them all into a powerful demon prince of the horned rat. However his mind is fractured for 12 minds fight in control of the body even for end of times.
Seeing him awed by 1k subscribers, while currently having 100k, is just so funny, especially just a year later, amazing work dude!
I love how you’re surprised in this vid when you hit 1k subs and now you’re at 50k. Time flies.
Angron's just to angry to be held back. I feel like this is how that conversation when. 'Sir you must wait the alu-' *Angrons leans forward* 'I'm going back in.'
You do very good work. You deserve about 99,000 more subscribers simply with the work you do now
I'd probably pick Nurgle, if I get to keep my personality at least (with allowances for the necessity of becoming a war criminal even by Warhammer verses' standards). Being able to shrug off shots from light tanks sounds fun.
Another example of perma death for demon: Eisenhorn killed Prophaniti good and proper
As for god of choice, Nurgle for sure
Also, please continue with these, you're awesome
I'm behind. Seeing the 1k celebration though when you have 93.8k subscribers, is awesome.
I always like the non-human demon princes.
Like an ork warboss who becomes a demon prince of Khorne.
That’s never happened 😂 orks are immune to chaos corruption
@@garrettrowe3897 It does happen. They become red orks who are bigger and stronger than normal orks but are so aggressive that they fight them selfs to death. So normal orks are more dangerous because they can work together and use better tactics.
@@Turnil321 I’ve looked it up countless different times read some different books and still haven’t heard anything about khorne orks/ red orks

and th-cam.com/video/t5oWBXl9YXg/w-d-xo.html
@@garrettrowe3897 chaos orks are real they are just killed soon as they appear cause orks know they ain't right same with genestealer orks, and their probably thinking of tuska daemon killer who isn't a daemon prince of khorne just a ork he regularly revives cause he brought such a good fight into his realm and so he finds them funny
"blessings"
There was a thing that happened in AOS that made me rethink the whole idea that daemon princes are worth it: khorne undid his daemon prince and turned them into a spawn. That's kinda huge, because it implies the journey to please the gods will never actually end. It also answers the question of what happens to daemon princes when the gods move onto new realms, and new realities.
Becoming a daemon prince is like a hive world man with asthma get the chnce to join the guardsmen. Oh you get a cool powerfull gun and armor but so does everyone else. The daemon prince in this scenario is being a commisar but you are more likely to die in the first 15 hours or so... have fun.
Princehood isn't worth it because in Warhammer 3 it turns my chaos lords into giant pincushions with half the utility of their old forms
Congratulations on breaking a 1000!
Stumbled across this channel during a lore binge. Your humour is right up my alley & I love the format.
I've been watching for 3 days consistently, keep up the great work!
Very proud to be among subscribers that were in the first 999 on a channel I think is only going to get bigger and better! I say it every time, but keep it up man, love your videos
Hella underrated channel, keep up the great content! 👍
Imperium is the best advertisement for the chaos. People living such lifes would want the alternative even despite knowing the serious drawbacks it comes with. If not to better their life, then as a sign of protest.
slaanesh and not for kinky reasons, its drugs, sex and rock and roll im only in it for the drugs and rock and roll
i am so happy i found you before you blew up lol. awesome vid man!
1k to 95k in a year? Great job dude
BLOOD FOR THE EMPEROR AND SANGUINIUS!
Oh the Heresy!
Ok I'm here now and I don't think I wanna leave. Thanks for making my into to 40k interesting 👍🏾
Finally someone that knows what he’s talking about and doesn’t sound like he’s on ketamine
Love your videos man, love the style and the way you talk about Warhammer :)
Never seen you before, but good shit Mr. Bones 40K for hitting 1K subs!
I would argue that the single best is Nurgle.
If you can get to the point where you no longer feel pain from the diseases, then you just get to live forever and make fun new plagues for daddy.
I can see why you gained the subs you have! You've got a great style and delivery of humour :)
Then the Emperor is indeed false god
I'd aim for something like Tuska, the Daemon-Killa. Your chosen God smiles on you and you get to do what you love to do on a daily basis.
If I'm going to be damned I'm going with papa Nurgle
40k clerics watching the dnd cleric summon their god on a whim once per day:
Could I just like…get a little bit of chaos here and there?
When you are not one of the essential named characters in the 40k setting this is really the only goal to look forward to if you worship Chaos.
While it isn't an exact "kill"
Daemons find themselves like ghosts from Luigis mansion getting trapped in random objects, and null rods and similar items are effectively lint rollers for the lint that is warp stuff, good stuff.
Can we give a shout out to the one chaos spawn than impressed Nurgle enough to be raised to being a daemon prince.
7:27 Morty had to sit timeout in the Grandfather's cööm jar 🫙
I always like magicky stuff, and always liked birds. When I discovered tzeentch, it was instant match, 10/10 would risk becoming a spawn.
yeah man the algorithm has blessed you, and I did not find your content wanting! Congrats on 1000 subs!
I wasn't a huge fan of slaneesh before watching your videos. But now i think they're my favorite quarter of chaos... Lucius cool guy
I started checkin out the Chaos Spawn from Age of Sigmar and the eyeball tentacle guys might be my favorite models ever, they're so cool dude.
It takes 8 weeks, 8 days, 8 hours, 8 minutes, and 8 seconds for angron to respawn bc korns number is 8. It takes a while for greater demons and demon princes to reform in the warp its not as instant as you said but no hate
Yeah but time in the warp is more of inside joke to daemons then an actual thing that exist
Great videos! Finally, I'm going to learn all about 40k! I've meaning, to for a while. Keep up the great work!
We like you. Keep the videos coming.
I'd choose Nurgle. Contentment is just such a vibe
tzeentch is the best choice mathematically because you are most likely to become a prince but also you cant really control that chance because he will probably fuck you over
nurgle is best because noone else chooses that. less competition
Love this guy, he's like the Louis CK of warhammer lore. Keep up the entertaining work!
Double intro 15/10
I'm not a heretic, but if there is one entity that tempts me the most, it's Tzeentch.
Congrats on the 1k!
Just found your Chanel and you’ve earned yourself a sub
I guess I’d pledge to Khorne cause following him would be the most easy and straightforward thing comparatively.
Thanks for the lore always helpful
I'm still so frustrated and disappointed that Slaanesh gives you crab claws.
Yeeaaah… this channel is gonna get popular real quick
I just subbed... so that means Chaos is on your side... death to the False Emperor...!!!
the growth of your channel has been insane, this videos a month old and you're at near 5k subscribers now.
I subscribed to you not so long ago, congrats on reaching your 1st thousand, You do great job with the these videos
The black legion and tyranids
Love your energy my guy, you stand out to me because other 40k lore channels lean too much into the grim dark earie setting with the creepy backing music and the low deep voice. You just talk about cool stuff love the videos! Btw what mic do you use ?
Vastor is undivided like bele kore
I have anger issues, I know the god i need.
jesus?
Becoming a daemon prince seems really damn stupid.
It would be really cool if you could do your take on traitor space wolves as a suggestion
Oh, don't you worry. I've got an entire video planned out for Skyrar's Dark Wolves at some point.
@@TheBoneZone40k cool can't wait thank you for being really entertaining to watch and congratulations on your subs count
Congratulations 👏, you made it from an Imperial prison planet to a soldier in the Astra Militarum...1000k subs
AND NOW 100k! Thanks Arthur/Mr.Bones!
If I had to pick a Chaos God to become the Prince of, it'd probably be Khorne. I like his sense of honor. I know for certain if I just do as he asks, he probably won't backstab me. Unlike Tzeentch.
I would dedicate myself to Khorne so I could become a winged tren-beast like Angron
Thank you for tutorial👍👍👍I will take my new found knowledge and put to good use
sounds a lot like the evangelion angels could be demon princes of tzeentch
Becoming a demon prince and becoming immortal is cool until you realize you can’t die even if you wanted to. I feel that immortality will start become a curse if one lives long enough.
No cuz your thoughts and ambitions are different and as a demon Prince you get your own worlds to rule over so still no matter how long you live you wouldn’t want to die that’s not you anymore
Yeah, I know Doom breed is literally just Genghis Khan. Genghis Khan was elevated to demon breed after he died because khrone was like no no no no no you’re too good.
