After a way too long break, here's the 2nd part of the Themis Trio trials. How will Juniper Woods and her friends fare against loan-sharks and the mafia?

Was feeling uninspired to finish this part for several weeks now, which explains the severe upload delay lol.
Also there are a couple visual errors in the video that I couldn't bring myself to fix due to the over-engineering of doing things in Shotcut, sorry xD

Since the title says mock *trials*, is there gonna be a 3-5 mock trial?
The second part of this mock trial is here. Really enjoying how differently the Themis Academy kids are treating this case compared to the characters who were actually involved in this case, especially with how Juniper isn’t going to put up with or cower under Tigre’s threats unlike the Judge we know. Really shows which judge has been mentoring her. I also found it amusing how relieved the defense side is with how Juniper is presiding the trial and noting how mistreated the defense attorneys are in the trials of this franchise. Blackquill and Klavier’s dynamic with Robin is also great. Can’t wait for part 3.
Juniper definitely gonna give a lesson on how to treat defense and prosecution equally (and equally strictly xD)

@@debastiansebeste the next step: recreation pachinko models (actually Nick from pachinko looks very close to DD classic suit version and other characters looks in the same style, so I guess it would be really cool enough)
@@Mad_Man_With_A_Box I did try to learn 3d modeling to make some of the models myself, but after about a week of looking up tutorials I got depressed due to the insane skill level requirement and gave up xD

12:17 I've been so use to us being forced to find the culprit in these games I forgot defense lawyers actually aren't supposed to be the "detectives".
The trio are technically having it "easy". They should be proud of this new generation. They're really handling this case better than the ones before do far, probably cause they are now also more fair and have a spine, for once, even judge Woods.
To be fair, all of this easiness is coming straight from Juniper, since she's the one leading the procedure, being as objective as possible and knowing how to maintain her authority and composure in court without getting scared xD
I loved the twists this trial took. Good on Junie for standing up to Tigre!

Just adding an "um, actually," 0:35 Gavin's right, Phoenix officially lost in "Farewell, my Turnabout" because it was ultimately the wish of his client.
Man, this mock trial has reached another level, it's practically another version of the recipe for turnabout... the real Viola appearing suddenly in the court, it's so amazing, can't wait to pt. 3
Oh yeah I so wanted Viola to give a testimony and since she didn't in the canon game, now it's her time xD

Ngl after this video I started getting nostalgic of dances of deduction and think I wanna work on a new one, but that would mean even more wait until all the lost assets are replaced lmao. Guess we'll see xD

Laugh everytime when the Pheonix and Co are so proud yet so relief that the Themis Trio manage to solve this case less hectic than they used to experience.
It's that "back in my day" feeling where they know things are better now, but simultaneously since they themselves went through tougher times that makes their own experiences superior xD
The visuals in your more recent videos are absolutely astonishing and your writing continues to amaze. I'm interested in where this is going.
Thanks! I'm trying to implement Shotcut over Objection lol more lately (it allows stable 30fps and full hd sprites, but is a pain to assemble all talking sprites and backgrounds lol). But the end result is worth it, glad you appreciate ;D
When Dual Destinies came out, I was wondering if we could select our lawyer, and thus have access to different lines of questionning...
In a way, you've just given me a look at what it could've been. Hugh goes to interrogate Viola when Phoenix didn't need to. I get how hard it would be to make those (it would be like 15 cases in just one game instead of 5), but it would have been amazing.

Yeah I kinda needed that because let's face it, no matter how creep-o-cute and sad and tragic Viola was, she still was an accomplice to murder coverup (not to mention the way she straight up threatens Lance Amano and Jean Armstrong lol)
And since Wright never dared bring her up in-court due to the danger of her grandfather I thought at the very least Hugh needs to put her on the stand xD

This is probably one of my favorite videos from yours yet! Also love your inclusion of Viola, it allowed for the case to still feel the same, but adding a new twist into it (tho I’ll admit, I’m kinda biased because I really love Viola as a character)

Quite literally the only reason Furio Tigre was able to mess around with Judge Judge so much was becuase Udgey doesn't understand his place in the world. If he has good enough reason, he can hold any hillbilly with a shotgun in contempt of court and yet he doesn't cause he forgets he's a damned Judge. Good on Junie. She knows what she's doing and what she can keep doing.

Well I don't really have plans for Gant yet tbh, after the next part where we'll conclude with Viola I'll probably try out Luke Atmey or some other.
As for Robin, a character for her does not exist in OL yet (only thousands of ripped PNGs lmao). Whenever and if I make her public she'll be along with Hugh and Juniper in a post on the objection lol discord server

Technically he didn't lose because the trial of Zak Gramarye never reached a verdict since he disappeared. But it's a fact that for this reason Phoenix didn't win the trial either

You can do in on objection lol too, but there's 2 methods:
1) either you turn the third character into popups
2) either you merge the third character's sprites with the background
