Interesting set of seniors and students you selected here. Anyways, it’s nice to see Neil again. I really enjoy that you give characters like him and Valerie distinct characterizations. Wonder how much he will differ from his brother? It was also nice to see a believable scenario that brings focus to how Mia and Lana met and how Lana garnered so much respect for her to recommend her to Ema. Can’t wait to see how this continues.

To be fair, even though Mia's smile reminds of Kristoph I mostly based the movement on Dahlia's smile where she tilts her head to the side (like Mia here). Could say I used the fact that they're cousins as an argument, but truth is I just liked how Dahlia's smile pose looked on Mia xD

If someone told me this was a canon flashback or prequel, i would have believed them if the sprites matched, suprised to see you put all options from the poll, you're like bethesda when they make choices that don't matter in their game, we chose Lana, but we still got the rest of them ( i am not really complaining since this was cool )
Yeah unfortunately when I make polls I get enthusiastic for all the characters appearing and just put them all in usually xDD (I generally prefer that instead of just adding wrong choices ngl lol)

This is a certified Portsman moment. In serious though I love how this series is using a lot of the characters I wish we saw more of, I assume Turnbull is an anime exclusive character so it's very cool to see him show up (I'll have to watch his appearances in the show)

I dunno if you're aware, but in American high schools & universities, a freshman is a first-year student, a sophomore is a second-year student, a junior is a third-year student, and a senior is a fourth-year student. The terms aren't really interchangeable. Freshmen & sophomores might be "junior" to seniors in ranking, but they wouldn't be *called* "juniors".

Not hard really, the webp was 2MB and the limit is less than 7 iirc. If few parts of a webp are animated (like here, only the screens), then the size isn't huge. What makes the size of bgs go off charts is more extensive and very long animations

About Turnbull, I watched all 3 episodes he's in and unfortunately he had no Objection line, but at one very specific point he suddenly said "THAT'S ENOUGH" and I immediately went "yep, we stealing Rayfa's quote" xD (I even made the japanese version where he says something like "mo-keku", no idea if it means That's Enough but still put it in xD

I'm still surprised at how well you can adapt them from anime to sprites, makes me wonder how easy it would be to create a sprite set for a character from another anime. Are there any that you'd want to create?
From another anime? If I had to pick one, it would have to be Tohru Adachi because of the PersonaXAce Attorney crossover story I wanted to make 2 years ago.
Other than that, not really. But yeah, making sprites out of anime characters is easier than people tend to think (I made Turnbull in about 6 hours lol)

If you look at both her witness and defense sprites, they are both different because the defense is her young self and the witness is her present self. If you want, I can give you the code for a young witness mia but yh thats all
I've already seen the young Mia cc and it's cool but I don't like the OG Mia's design, so if she doesn't look like the one in this vid (aka drawn by the artist of Rise from the Ashes) I won't be using her, I'd rather she have her modern hair if it means I use this Mia :p
