That's because the trial happens in the next part - normally the two were to be a single video but I ended up cutting to 2 parts due to not having uploaded in almost a month lol (also wanted to exhibit to the voters of the First Turnabout that there's not much interesting to show in redoing the very first trial :p)
@@khenzeta4491 on mobile you can still pair 3 characters, by making the 3rd character a popup. But you won't be able to put said character behind a desk unfortunately xD
Not going to lie, I'm a bit sad we didn't get to see them actually solving the case. I realize that would have made the video massive and be likely a retread of the entire case, but I think it would still be pretty novel, especially with how everything else was presented. Would Robin mention the "sugar daddies"? How well would Larry perform as his old self? Would he replace the victim with a different girl? How often would they go off script? How would each of the characters co-counsel? I feel like you would have had a lot to make it feel different enough and to show off how these characters think. Though I don't feel like I can blame you for not wanting to rewrite an entire case, even if it's one of the short ones... If anything now that I think about it, actually writing it seems like a lot to juggle... still I actually am really curious to see the actual case and I feel almost a bit cheated with the jump cut. :( ...also, you're telling me that Phoenix isn't going to play the part of Furio Tigre? He has the costume and everything. Please don't take this as me not liking the video for the record, you always put out amazing content. And I know the nightmare that was the production of this video due to the hard drive failure. Just, I don't know, I feel like you built up an amazing re-telling and then sweeped the rug from under me. No offense.
Well, most of the issues you mention will be tackled in part 2 with the Recipe rewrite (I have a few interesting ideas ;p). The only reason I skipped this one's trial part was because I find it very boring, easy and short of interest and couldn't think of any way to make it entertaining, so I decided to skip it and jump straight to the next trial :p
@@debastiansebeste Oooooooh. :O Now I'm excited. And that's fair. I can see it being hard to spice up the case itself. I figured most of the entertainment value and interesting parts would be from all these different cooks in the kitchen. Focusing on them with the simple case being the backdrop. So they have the opportunity to shine. Like, for Phoenix, he's co-counsel but knows all of the answers already. Would he just be terrible at not spoiling the answers? Or would he act more cryptic like his AA4 self? Or would he just quote Mia when applicable? Or how would the other characters feel about the case? Even if it's simple, I feel like there are some moments that might give some reaction. Would all of them know the answers (to varying degrees) and Hugh be like "Don't tell me, I can do this!". Would Maya offer to channel Mia and Phoenix be like "No, spirit channeling only came up in my second case. I don't think it'd be fair to introduce that yet." and Hugh being very confused as to what the hell he's talking about. Or a reference to one of your past videos where Apollo and Athena can't read Mr. Hat, so their powers are useless. Oooooh, what if Blackquill had met the culprit while in jail, and thus also has knowledge about the case itself. I do think seeing Larry reprise his role would have been amazing. And I could see a moment where Hugh struggles with the time zone math, doing it in his head, only to be interrupted by Juniper or Robin already having figured it out. And I already said, but seeing Robin mention the sugar daddies would have been amazing. Would she? Would she say something else? Would Larry react differently? I guess you could always make a Part 0.75 that shows the eight minutes if you do get ideas on how to approach it. As I was typing this, I did wonder if this be enough to really spice the case up, or if it would just not have enough to work with, especially in the Sahwit half. I worry it would just make it feel bloated. Though maybe that's the point given there's like so many extra people here talking over each other on a case with next to no meat on its bones. Sorry for the wall of text, I figured I'd share some of the ideas that came to my mind. I feel like most of these are either gonna be tackled in Part 2 or ideas you already had.

Hugh would not enjoy Turnabout Goodbye being recreated since the Prosecutor lines following Manfred Von Karma. Rise from the Ashes and Farewell My Turnabout are the ones where both Hugh and Robin (with their co-council) would have to work together to find the truth with following the scripts
I was cackling over Maya being there
I love turnabout academy so I'm LIVING for this
Poor Hugh 😢😂
I have discovered your channel and i liked your vids, keep posting because i liked it
Glad you like them mate :3
4:53- I love this part. Or Hugh has a whole squad (even Maya) to help but the bench is too small, or the bench is *i n f i n i t e a n d b e y o n d*
Anyways, I love this video! Hope it gets viral! Nice work. Love you :D
Bravo! This was a delight! And I love the Recipe teaser!
This is the way to start the weekend
Hopefully we get the character codes for the characters that were used in this. They all look amazing! Especially your custom own custom characters that were used in this!
Great! Now we can see what the mock trial looks like.
This is like if you're one of the students that attended the mock trial itself.
Thanks for this as I just submitted my assignment an hour ago, so now I get to enjoy this.
BTW, are you still okay from what happened a few weeks ago?
Plus, was your computer affected by the blue screen disaster last week?
Greece has been bragging worldwide lately that we didn't get hit because we hadn't updated anything lmao, guess being behind on internet technologies by a decade has its merits
@@debastiansebeste Glad to hear that. Quite ironic don't you think?
BTW, have you recovered from your computer disk? Or do you still need more time?
@@vercettinguyen9063 nah I'm cool, what's lost is lost like I said some time ago ;)
@@debastiansebeste I'm glad. Guess it's time to wait for part 2 I guess.
@@debastiansebeste wait, are you living in Greece? Very interesting.
You know what? Juniper getting jealous at 5:58 is golden to me.
I wish to see some more of these lore accurate reactions.
Less jealous and more "so you're the interceptor who ruined our romantic moment" xD
Can't wait to see more about this trio of characters
And of course MR HAT SWEEP 🗣️🗣️🗣️
That was one heck of a trial lol
I almost have to re-learn that the legal academy is called "Themis", because when I played through Turnabout Academy with my brother, we made all the characters sound like Shrek characters, so I affectionately nicknamed the school, "Shrek Legal Academy".
But that tangent aside, I love seeing Hugh, Robin, and especially Juniper actually in Court! Looking forward to part 2!
Shrek Legal Academy? I'm sending them my letter right the f now.
@@Duskof81 They look forward to hearing from you! Professor Shrek Means might take a while to respond (got convicted of murder, it was a whole thing), but perhaps Juniper Woods the Gingerbread Man will get back to you.
Massive video, ay?
LOVE IT!!!
Hi! I have a what if idea where phoenix was apart of the Dl-6 case but not when hes a adult but where he was also in the elevator with them. Love yours vids!
The only thing missing was for them to invite Frank Sawhit to humiliate him again xD
Third time's the charm lmao
@@Kirbyx1410 he still serving time during this event so it wouldn't make sense him suddenly released from the prison
Hahaha, good one. Of course, it would be nice to see the arguments.
Yeah this vid's role is mostly to set up the whole setting of the mock trials rather than show them (show Trucy acting the witnesses, who the counsels will be, what trials will be held etc), if you noticed Klavier and Blackquill didn't even get to say anything :p
But from the next part onward it will be actual testimonies and cross examinations ;)
Sensational work man! I legit think this video could be easily a first case or maybe a bonus case for AA7 or maybe for AA8 or AA9. Like this is a grrat way to start any AA trial for newcomers or people coming back again in my opinion! 🔥🔥 And may I ask you something a little off topic from this video? Have you ever think of doing a video with or about Ryutaro Naruhodo (TGAA2) before?
Not really tbh, if I ever made a video about Susato doing defense attorney stuff I'd prefer to show her in her true self :p
@@debastiansebeste fair enough! 😁
Yeah this made me subscribe. Great job!
THE AWAITED SERIES IS HERREE YIPPIEEE
" Oh I'm gonna get _cooked_ " - Hugh O' Conner
FENJFNEQW THIS IS SO MUCH FUN!!!!!! great writing as always!!! I still have yet to finish the video but it's too exciting not to write a comment now....
8:48 I LOVE HOW HIS BOW FLIES AWAY HERE DIENWONEWQ
xD Good to hear, hope you enjoy the rest too :D
Turnabout Academy may be my favorite case in the base game of AA5 even though it's really, REALLY teen drama-y. The characters just carry the case.
ow.. I was expecting to see Robin in her full femininesnes(?)(!) She still seems between her two identities 🤭
I liked how both sides of the court were crowded. Tough is weird to imagine Klavier and Blackquill "teaming up", even as intriguing. +.+
With this many good quality objection.lols, i'm fearing i could start mixing up canon with your work.
Pretty amazing work, as usual 😁🆒
Hahahahahaha! This is good. I can’t wait for part 2.
omg I loved this so much you inspired me to learn blender
Good luck with it if you pull through :D
The video started buffering when Robin threw the pot down at the ground, like the exact frame. The timing couldnt have been more perfect, lol.
Robin broke not only the pot but YT itself lmao
4:54 reminds me of a comic based on duel destinies with coincidentally enough had the Thermis Trio. Basically the witness stand was overcrowded......
Also oph Maya..... While not a lawyer she at least was an assistant...... -and was accused of murder every game she's in, "Get a hobby Maya"-
5:58 Judge Yaniper Woods
8:25 people who played the first case so many times or are the people who can easily spot the obvious twist in a nutshell
Not the tiger 😳😭
Some love about DD characters yes 😊
I hope you play Vs soon, so we can see 3 more prosecutors join (especially Barnham)
fun fact about Turnabout Big Top (because I think it was a Big Top at the end):
in the beginning when you present Max's profile to the Maya - she will think abour new "cooler" name for Phoenix and chooses "Naruhodou A'.". Lol.
I remember that, it was kinda funny ngl xD But the vid's scene wasn't about Turnabout Big Top ;)
@@debastiansebeste then I have no idea what the hell it is... lion's roar got me there probably
@@daurenjunusbekov5264 after the roar you can hear a music about certain furious feline...
@@daurenjunusbekov5264 another hint is the music that starts playing simultaneously with the roar :p
@@debastiansebeste I got it... cardbord badge it is
I headcanon now that Junie has something against Trucy. She'll be one difficult sister-in-law
She'll probably warm up to Trucy once she realizes she is Apollo's sister. Right now, I think she sees her as competition.
@@beterbomen True, but it's also possible she simply sees her as a hinderance. And let's be fair, siblings can be pretty big hinderances for relationships
Tbf she only got mad at her because she's the one who interrupted her romantic moment with Apollo, at that point she doesn't think that Trucy even has anything to do with him :p
If you told me those courtroom sprites were official, i would believe you...
Best thing I can hear, glad you like them :D
4:53 this reminds me of that one comic made by awkward zombie.
How did you change your aspect ratio?
Making the video in Shotcut and using the sprites locally on it allows for this :p It also allows a stable framerate, though it means production of a video is 2-3 times longer because of it lol
never noticed hugh and sebastian were from the same school till now
And Sebastian's uniform is the same as the one for people taking the course for defense attorneys, despite him being a prosecutor.
4:50 What Defense team am I looking at?
Also, this video appeared out of nowhere despite not being following ace attorney a lot. Looking forward to part 2.
Do my eyes decieve me? Did O'Connor just do Kazuma Asogi's desk slam?
Actually I took it from Ryunosuke, he has done it too :p
@@debastiansebeste
Oh yeah. I think Kazuma's version has his palm more open like a karate chop vs. Ryunosuke's closed fist.
Oh well that wouldn't matter because Hugh has no bones in his hands, he has different hand models based on what he uses them for, I simply picked his one hand that looked more like a fist (a kinda open one, because Hugh has no closed fist right hand lol)
I’ll be honest I kinda expected a full trial. You kinda skipped over… the trial part.
That's because the trial happens in the next part - normally the two were to be a single video but I ended up cutting to 2 parts due to not having uploaded in almost a month lol
(also wanted to exhibit to the voters of the First Turnabout that there's not much interesting to show in redoing the very first trial :p)
3:29 ironic thing she is kinda holding apollos arm
00:03:28 didn't you throw a cop
Don't forget a bunch of Khura'inese guards :p
Bruh, thats impossible to pair 4 counsels in one frame
Mine was 2 on the Prosecutions desk like miles and kay in AAI Form
If you use Shotcut to assemble the sprites, you can pair as many counsels as you want until your computer crashes from sprite overload xD
Well true, but mine was mobile editing on the Google chrome only@@debastiansebeste
@@khenzeta4491 on mobile you can still pair 3 characters, by making the 3rd character a popup. But you won't be able to put said character behind a desk unfortunately xD
@@debastiansebeste oh, well noted for PC takeover
...also, you're telling me that Phoenix isn't going to play the part of Furio Tigre?
Oh yeah! 3-3 next, without the only bad thing about 3-3!! AND I'm the 333rd like!!!
