Very good advice, so thankful this wasn’t a sponsored video that tried to sell us something. It was so refreshing to hear your story straight up. 😊

I work from home and getting a walking pad for my sit/stand desk has changed my life. I'm losing weight (slowly) but beyond that, I just feel better knowing I can get 8-12k steps in before 5pm. I feel accomplished and proud of myself for moving my body when before I was sedentary all day, with the exception of the occasional workout class. Great option for people who don't live in walkable communities! Thanks for sharing your experience 🩵

As a woman on a similar journey, I felt those first few seconds. The way your self confidence grew in those few seconds during your before and after is so inspiring. Your body language speaks volumes!! I’m of similar build and so far have lost 18lbs since starting my journey in January, and man, that “privilege” statement is so true. I didn’t see change till I seriously committed to saving the money and time to be able to afford healthier groceries and access to gyms/classes. I’m glad you’re loving yourself girl! You deserve to love yourself no matter the shape but I’m glad you found your self love now ❤🔥👏 Thank you for being an inspo for us other gals out there!!

it wasn't always like this for me, but nowadays i honestly can't imagine not eating veggies every single day. a meal is incomplete to me without them and i actually enjoy them. it can happen!

I’m 5’4, my highest weight was 192, i got down to 135 in a few months, very quickly and I really didn’t do it in a healthy way. I still wanted to lose more when i was 135, but i got into a relationship and we would actually eat multiple times a day together which i was not doing before and I gained weight back. I was 160 and i was so disappointed in myself, now I’m trying to do it in a healthier way. Im 157 this morning which isn’t much lower but I’m trying to hold out hope. I also have pcos 🙃 but thank you for this video it genuinely helps to know other people have gone through similar experiences

Thank you for sharing your experience with us, it helps me a lot 'cause I'm currently going through this journey all alone. I'm 1.63 cm and 68.2 kilos and the effort I'm taking is unbelievable! But I'm starting to notice some results (2 weeks into diet and 5000 steps x day) and it's really helping my mental health!
I've always been around 50 to 53 kilos but suddenly for many unfortunate reasons, I started to gain weight so slowly through out the years that I didn't even notice how much I've gained. I'ts really hard going through this journey but I'm determined to stick with it ✨
Sorry for my bad English, I'm Italian!
Anyway thank you so much again for sharing your experience 🥰

Thank you for this video. I have struggled with my mental health for a long time, and my disordered eating has been bad for a while...

I feel so seen 🥹 I’ve been on my journey for just 8 weeks now and have lost 8 pounds. (214->206). No one talks about how hard it is in the beginning. Everyone loves before/after pics but right in the beginning is just so hard like you mentioned in your outro. Love these vids!! Glad to be here 🫶🏻

The bigest thing for me is definitely aesthetics.
I know im overweight, and I try so hard to hide it.
But i like that you mentioned it shouldn't be a priority, that the way you feel is most important before the way you look.
    Thank you for this!

I love seeing videos like this to see the womans perspective on this topic as everything she said is the same for us on the other side. Only difference is that instead of there being a secret, guys are more upfront and in your face about calling you fat as they have no problem flipping up you moobs in front of people no matter the location. Even the attention from the opposite gender, going from invisible to feeling like "okay now i'm worthy of love and won't get instantly shot down repeatedly", and don't confuse this as a pity party woe is me feel bad about men, but more of a we understand as we deal with it as well.

Please let me reach someone and say - you do not have to be in a place of privilege to lose weight! I’ve lost 15kg (33lbs) without ever stepping foot in a gym and on a budget in my 20’s! I walked daily for 30-40 minutes, did some leg and glute exercises in my room with some light weights and a yoga mat that I got from Kmart. I ate things like avocado on sourdough toast, wraps, some dark chocolate, drank tea, kombucha, sparkling water, crumbed chicken salads, mandarins, passion fruits, Vietnamese steak salads, scrambled eggs on toast with butter, chicken minestrone soups, 6 inch ham salad subs, bone broth mince and veggies, rice crackers, and so many other things. As long as you’re in a slight calorie deficit combined with being consistent and accepting that weight loss isn’t linear and you’ll have days where you eat more, and just love yourself and get right back on track, the weight will slowly come off. But you by no means need a personal trainer and a gym membership or all these fancy things to achieve it!❤💪🏽

The food noise is a big deal and a lot of antidepressants people don’t know that their medication helps with the food noise significantly. It’s one the modalities of a the med Contrave. And sometimes Contrave is given with Ozempic/Mounjaro or any other glp1. It’s a big deal and people need to do their research before taking that path

While I’m not vegan, Freelee was the first person to open my eyes to how AWFUL American food is and how things that seem healthy are actually horrific for our bodies (not just fat, but the mechanic system of our bodies). Getting a dog has been helpful to get me up and walking outside multiple times a day as well. Now I have 10 stubborn pounds to lose lol (and/or transform into muscle)

very solid advice- except for the “needing to focus on getting enough/more protein since i’m vegetarian” bc if you’re competent in the kitchen (and everyone should strive to be) it shouldn’t be something you have to be overly conscious about (i’ve been a vegan for 10 years since 7th grade, never had an issue myself bc as long as (almost) every meal is balanced (some of each food group- look to three bean soups, chili, chickpea curries, anything with legumes for protein) you’ll be fine
