Can you do, "What if every fighter had a Trapping/Cutscene Final Smash"? You can skip the ones who's already got one (example: King K. Rool, Incineroar, Steve, etc.), or you can give them new trapping/cutscene final smashes

I wish they gave her a unique final smash, maybe based on her specials from sports games, also give her a triple jump instead of the float to reference her ability in Super Mario Run, and just give her a unique moveset overall, or at least semi unique, sorta like Isabelle and villager that have similar movesets but different enough
"palette swap" made sense as a term in sprite based fighters. Sprites usually don't specify which RGB value each pixel has, but instead gives it a low numerical value, representing a position in a palette. This palette can then be swapped out, which will change what colours the sprite has. In 3D fighters, the mesh instead has a texture. This texture does not use a palette, and will instead define each pixel instead. Textures tend to have a huge amount of different colours, so a palette isn't an efficient way to go about it. So when you select a different colour, it's actually using a different texture. While previous Smash entries were very reserved with how the colour swaps were used, later entries got more creative adding new elements on some costumes. Face markings, changing pattern on clothes. This should not be confused with model swaps, where instead of just changing the texture, the whole mesh is replaced too. Wedding Mario and Builder Mario uses different meshes (and textures) from the regular Mario, but are still using the same skeleton for animations.
For Pyra and Mythra, new alts could be based on Drivers and their respective Blades from XC2, or simply characters that are connected to each other. Here are my ideas: -Poppi alt for Pyra and Lila alt for Mythra, Tora's color scheme wouldn't really fit Mythra imo so her Artificial Blade sister seemed like the next best thing -Lora alt for Pyra and Haze alt for Mythra, Lora and Pyra both have shorter hair than Haze and Mythra so I thought it'd make more sense this way -Malos and Alvis (Xenoblade 1 character) alts would be cool, but I don't really know which one would be for each Aegis. As long as they change the colors of their core crystals it'd be fine (purple for Malos, red for Alvis). Also the Alvis alt could have some Jin color scheme thrown in there since these characters look similar -My last idea would be referencing characters from other Xeno games with Elma from Xenoblade X and KOS-MOS from Xenosaga. Both characters have long hair so it's hard to say which one would look better on Pyra, but if I had to choose I'd go with KOS-MOS Mythra since her 3rd alt which is based on Pyra already resembles Elma a lot, and give Elma to Pyra. Making Mythra's eyes redish and Pyra's purple-ish for these alts would be icing on the cake
Joker should have Alts based off of the other Phantom Thieves, as well as replacing or recoloring Jokers mask with the mask of the Thief that the alt is based off. And maybe some based off of Persona characters from the previous games. Steve could get new alts based off of the bedrock skin packs, or they could do custom ones based off of other game characters, such as a Mario outfit or a Samus outfit.
This is a nice theorycraft but, if these really were DLC costumes, there would be a lot more model changes. To make an example, I'll take Inkling: I'm sure that to reference the Octolings, they would change the entire character to make it an octoling (kind of like with Alph). With the Splatoon 2 references, I think they'd change the hairstyle of the boy and the girl to match those is Splatoon 2's cover. I think they'd also change the models of the weapons, with the Octolings having the Octoshot inatead of the classic Splattershot and Splatoon 2's Inklings having Splatoon 2's rendition of the Splattershot. I also think that, along with the examples you brought up, they would make an Agent 4 costume, with the lvl. 3 Hero Shot from Splatoon 2.

I think there should've been a lighter green coloration for K. Rool based on Mr. Green Kroc from the DKC Cartoon, who's basically part of a Pirate Krew of Recolors. Kutlass is a reskin of the basic Kritters, and Kaptain Skurvy is not only a reskin of Klump, but also his brother!
I made this suggestion in the last video too, but I'd like to say it again for the DLC fighters video: For Hero's alts I'd suggest that his 1st costume alt would be the Celestrian from DQ9, and the alt color for it would reference Stella, your companion throughout the game, making his main armor orange with pink accents, his leggings black, give him a darker skin tone, and the hair blonde. For the 2nd costume alt, I'd make it the hero from DQ1, and the alt color is a weird choice, but I wanna pick the Metal King Slime as the reference, which would make the armor mostly sliver with gold, blue, and purple accents.
Alright, and here we are at long last with the Special alts, starting with the base roster! :D Once again as always phenomenal job, Siiroth! :) I think the Special newcomers, at least for the base roster, has by the best alts in the series (so far)! I think it was a nice touch giving Gaogean an alt with the same color scheme as King from the Tekken franchise since he has a wildcat head, and also due to the 5th Fighter Pass/10th DLC fighter being Kazuya Mishima from Tekken! Look forward to Part 2 with the DLC characters (although I'm not sure it'll be before, or after the final fighter has been revealed. I'd imagine probably the latter)! Oh, and Kopter is actually from Donkey Kong Country 3. ;)
Inkling Orange girl based on the box art for Splatoon same with the dark blue boy alt Yellow is from the story mode in level 3. Also with the agent outfit in the story mode. Green is the same as in the video WITHOUT the skull bandana. Pink is based on the Splatoon 2 box art inkling Cyan is from Specks (Hold on what is the name AGAIN?!) In the splatoon manga. Purple is the school outfit from one of the ammibo I can't find a reference for the dark purple safety one but it may be based on blackbelly skate park.

Next up for Chrom we have a tan and blue alt with red hair to represent Groose from the Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword. Another alt for Daisy has a blue and tan color scheme, with red hair to further resemble Groose from the Skyward Sword game. One of my personal favorite ideas for Ridley is this navy and beige outfit and bright red hair. This would be a direct reference to Skyward Sword's own Groose.
Joker Ideas: Phantom thief alt: More colors on the idea of his other teammates (like his Crow alt) so Skull and Fox would be good choices. School Alt: references to the P3 and P4 protagonist as he would ware their outfits.
For Richter you should've put a design for Trevor Belmont from the Castlevania TV show, the scars would look cool and it's a recent and popular Belmont that kinda resembles Richter.

Pyra and Mythras alts are all mostly not based on anything so I think for the new alts that one could be based on a blade and the other could be it’s driver. For example pyra could have an outfit referencing Tora and mythra could have an outfit referencing poppi. Another is pyra having an outfit resembling nia while mythra could have an outfit resembling dromarch. Just an idea I’m throwing out there 😁 great video by the way

How Dark Samus did NOT get an SA-X inspired swap in the game still blows my mind. As for DLC, Hero's default should get a grey and black tunic and red leggings to reference Sylvando. His second alt could be a red tunic with black pants and a red crown to reference the Warrior class is in Dragon Quest III. His third alt could have a yellow tunic, black tights, and blue headgear to reference Alena. His fourth alt could get a yellow bandana, grey coat, and teal pants to reference Yangus.

i HIGHLY doubt incineroar's purple alt was based on big the cat. if anything it was most likely an original made for smash, as i don't see why they'd give a pokemon an alt based on a completely different game franchise. that being said though, i did enjoy a lot of the alts you created, as they were all very creative (though for k. rool those newly rendered alts you brought up were already referenced in his attacks so i can see why they weren't made as alts)
I think Joker should get a Velvet Room Skin so blue outfit with White Hair and golden mask. I think he should also get an all white outfit with Red hair and a black and blue mask, a refference to Sophia in Persona 5 Strikers. I think Byleth should get the Enlightened One Class skin as that is their unique class in the game. Additionally an Orange skin based off of Jeralt would be really cool

I believe all of the Inkling colors are based on the player colors. That being said, red, black, and white seem like crappy colors considering how inappropriate they would look.

I made this suggestion in the last video too, but I'd like to say it again for the DLC fighters video: For Hero's alts I'd suggest that his 1st costume alt would be the Celestrian from DQ9, and the alt color for it would reference Stella, your companion throughout the game, making his main armor orange with pink accents, his leggings black, give him a darker skin tone, and the hair blonde. For the 2nd costume alt, I'd make it the hero from DQ1, and the alt color is a weird choice, but I wanna pick the Metal King Slime as the reference, which would make the armor mostly sliver with gold, blue, and purple accents.
Alright, and here we are at long last with the Special alts, starting with the base roster! :D Once again as always phenomenal job, Siiroth! :) I think the Special newcomers, at least for the base roster, has by the best alts in the series (so far)! I think it was a nice touch giving Gaogean an alt with the same color scheme as King from the Tekken franchise since he has a wildcat head, and also due to the 5th Fighter Pass/10th DLC fighter being Kazuya Mishima from Tekken! Look forward to Part 2 with the DLC characters (although I'm not sure it'll be before, or after the final fighter has been revealed. I'd imagine probably the latter)!
Oh, and Kopter is actually from Donkey Kong Country 3. ;)
Inkling
Orange girl based on the box art for Splatoon same with the dark blue boy alt
Yellow is from the story mode in level 3. Also with the agent outfit in the story mode.
Green is the same as in the video WITHOUT the skull bandana.
Pink is based on the Splatoon 2 box art inkling
Cyan is from Specks (Hold on what is the name AGAIN?!) In the splatoon manga.
Purple is the school outfit from one of the ammibo
I can't find a reference for the dark purple safety one but it may be based on blackbelly skate park.

Another alt for Daisy has a blue and tan color scheme, with red hair to further resemble Groose from the Skyward Sword game.
One of my personal favorite ideas for Ridley is this navy and beige outfit and bright red hair. This would be a direct reference to Skyward Sword's own Groose.

Phantom thief alt: More colors on the idea of his other teammates (like his Crow alt) so Skull and Fox would be good choices.
School Alt: references to the P3 and P4 protagonist as he would ware their outfits.

I think that Simon’s red head appearance and Richters SotN outfit should be new renders rather than just recolors.

Pyra and Mythras alts are all mostly not based on anything so I think for the new alts that one could be based on a blade and the other could be it’s driver. For example pyra could have an outfit referencing Tora and mythra could have an outfit referencing poppi. Another is pyra having an outfit resembling nia while mythra could have an outfit resembling dromarch. Just an idea I’m throwing out there 😁 great video by the way
Btw, those inkling gear that was referencing promo art was actually referencing characters from the splatoon manga.

Slightly darker blue with a dark blue stalk and leaves and a blue pot/ pipe - referencing the Frosted Piranhas as they appear in Paper Mario The Thousand Year Door (Alternatively you can instead give it a darker green stalk and leaves to reference how they appear in Super Paper Mario)
gray with a gray stalk and leaves and a gray pot/pipe - referencing the Pale Piranhas from Paper Mario The Thousand Year Door

As for DLC, Hero's default should get a grey and black tunic and red leggings to reference Sylvando. His second alt could be a red tunic with black pants and a red crown to reference the Warrior class is in Dragon Quest III. His third alt could have a yellow tunic, black tights, and blue headgear to reference Alena. His fourth alt could get a yellow bandana, grey coat, and teal pants to reference Yangus.
Giving the Smash Fighters seasonal outfits would be cool too like for example Santa Bowser and Pirate Bowser Junior.

i HIGHLY doubt incineroar's purple alt was based on big the cat. if anything it was most likely an original made for smash, as i don't see why they'd give a pokemon an alt based on a completely different game franchise. that being said though, i did enjoy a lot of the alts you created, as they were all very creative (though for k. rool those newly rendered alts you brought up were already referenced in his attacks so i can see why they weren't made as alts)
I think Joker should get a Velvet Room Skin so blue outfit with White Hair and golden mask. I think he should also get an all white outfit with Red hair and a black and blue mask, a refference to Sophia in Persona 5 Strikers.
I think Byleth should get the Enlightened One Class skin as that is their unique class in the game. Additionally an Orange skin based off of Jeralt would be really cool
It would've been cool if you gave Incineroar an alt based on Meowser (a cat version of Bowser that first appeared in Super Mario 3D World), for Steve give him one of the skins from the free Mario skin pack from the Switch version of Minecraft.

I swear I saw Dark Samus had the Samus alt. Probably the early days of Dark Samus in SSBU, when Nintendo was updating characters is when they took it down. Maybe I was imaging it, even tho the render icon picture that shows the percent looked real.
you might be thinking of Dark Samus' 4th alternate color, which is a yellow tint with a blue visor, somewhat similar to Samus' default color scheme

I believe all of the Inkling colors are based on the player colors.
That being said, red, black, and white seem like crappy colors considering how inappropriate they would look.
