I'd love to see The Nether as an alternate stage for Steve, perhaps battling on a Nether Fortress or a Bastion Remnant with various potential biomes like the Minecraft Overworld stage. And yes, I did notice that this video was posted about a week before Minecraft was announced for Smash XD
I completely agree. I think we could get 6 versions like in the existing stage. I’m thinking Nether fortress, Crimson forest, warped forest, soul sand valleys, and then I’m stuck on the last 2. I have 3 ideas but I don’t know which 2 would be better, being Nether wastelands, Bastion, or Basalt deltas.
Imagine a Pokemon stage where you go around the region. Preferably Alola, so you go to all four islands then the Aether foundation. It sounds really interesting as a stage pick.
When I was younger, I had an idea similar to that, but with the Hoenn region (ORAS was recently released during that time), with the Eon Flute mechanic being an inspiration. The idea would be that the stage would normally simply go around the Hoenn region from the skies (in a similar vein to Wuhu Island), then eventually travel to 3 different points in the region, a volcano, the empty sea, and/or into space. Volcano would be where Primal Groudon would appear and cause constant stunless chip damage across the entire stage (similar to the flower condition) thanks to Desolate Land. Empty sea would be where Primal Kyogre appears and makes the gravity lower due to Primordial Sea. Space would have Mega Rayquaza appear and cause rapid wind currents to occur on the stage thanks to Delta Stream. The stage hazards, in retrospect, would be kinda obnoxious to deal with, but I was pretty sold on the idea back then.
I wanna see the Sky Tower from Mystery Dungeon but Alola is still a stage I’d love to see happen, actually it’s surprising it didn’t happen with Incineroar
Mario: World Bowser Donkey Kong: An Ice/jungle stage to better represent the concept of TF. Zelda:Clock Town Metroid: Wrecked ship Yoshi: Crafted World stage Kirby: A stage based on a modern game like jambastion or Haltman Co. Starfox: Macbeth (a train stage) Pokémon: Wild Area Earthbound: Devils Machine Fzero: Sand Ocean Ice climber: Idk an Iceberg? Fire Emblem: Dawn Brigade Game & watch: Mario’s Cement factory Kid Icarus: The underworld or the pirate ship. Wario: A wario land stage Metal Gear: Mother Base Sonic: chemical plant zone Pikmin: Wistful Wind R.O.B: Gyromite Animal Crossing: Smash Isle (New horizons stage) MegaMan: Central Highway Wii Fit: No idea Punch-Out: No idea Mii: Miitopia stage Pac-Man: If returning stages count, then pac maze but if not, a Galaga stage. (Since pac-Man represents Namco as a whole) Xenoblade: Mor-Ardain Duck-Hunt: No idea Street fighter: Ken stage (give mah boi respect) Final Fantasy: Lunar Core Bayonetta: catedral of cascades Splatoon: The Deep Sea metro Castlevania: Clocktower Persona: Tartarus Dragon quest: Dragon Lords castle Banjo-kazooie: Gruntilda’s lair Fatal Fury: West Albuquerque Arms: Ramen Bowl or Dr coyle’s lab.
@@Siiroth Thanks, Tbh I had to google or take ideas from ssf2 for some of them because I have no knowledge on some franchises like bayonetta or Final fantasy
Animal crossing would be Nook Ink Isle where the town flag is Tom Nook in his crown and king cape surrounded by bells. Flick Cj Raymond and Judy can be background characters that watch the fight as it shifts to dodo islands and Redd’s ship until an airplane takes us back to Nook Ink isle.
Here are my ideas for franchises that I know a lot about: Mii: A Miitopia stage. The grasslands area of Miitopia, specifically. Bridge of Eldin style layout with different enemies from the game attacking. WiiFit: Snowball Fight. On top of a snowy plateau with an arena in the background. Miis will throw snowballs from the z-axis. Pokémon: Isle of Armor. A large, flat stage with the temple in the middle. Urshifu will occasionally attack parts of the stage, and I mean VERY occasionally. Splatoon: Shifty Station. Representative of the Splatfests. Different ink colors from previous Splatfests would be inked onto the stage, which itself would have a different layout each time, chosen from one of 5-6 preset layouts based on actual Shifty Station mechanics. Animal Crossing: Town Hall. Fight in front of Town Hall. A flat stage, similar to Tortimer Island in that different overworld objects from New Horizons would invade the stage in a random layout. Sonic: City Escape. There are plenty of City Escape concepts in Ultimate's Shared Content feature. Mario: Bomb-omb Battlefield. Super Mario 64's new stage. Would be a plateau on top of a hill that you couldn't climb up. However, there are cannons on the sides of the hill that periodically move in and out of interactivity.
My personal idea for Sonic would be Stardust Speedway, since it’s an iconic area that still is quite important to recent games, as the music is widely regarded as Metal Sonic’s theme, the most iconic Sonic villain besides Eggman. It’s also the most memorable stage in CD. As for the stage itself, it’s stationary, but the background moves to other areas at high speeds and enemies from the stage are hazards. Maybe at one point, Metal Sonic could cameo as well.
I'm genuinely surprised there hasn't been a dedicated Bowser's Castle stage at this point. It feels like such an obvious inclusion that I'm kinda confused why it didn't happen.
For a xenoblade stage, especially if Rex got in, I would like to see a xenoblade 2 stage. Ideally to me, Lacham Island (that island on the south part of upper right gormott). I think that would be great as a stage as you could easily orient the stage to put the Gormott titan head, torigoth, and the world tree and possibly other titans in the background and show off the scope of 2s world. Plus there could be a neat gimmick in the stage of a rising and falling cloud sea tide.
I think a museum stage for Animal Crossing would be better because we already have the island stage from New Leaf. Having a bunch of fossils and fish tanks in the background would be really cool, and maybe the background could change to each section of the museum.
Dude, Pikmin should’ve got Submerged Castle as a stage. Can you imagine the Water Wraith mercilessly targeting a player through a labyrinthine stage with a one-hit kill attack?
19:00 “So I’m going with the Dojima residence from Persona 4” *shows the shopping district Yeah I think the shopping district would be better than a household
Hear me out: A Sawmill Thrill stage takes place not on minecarts, but a wooden stage carved out by the saws. Think spirit tracks, but the stage occasionally jumps around and even floats on water as it gets pushed around on the rails of the sawmill.
For bayonetta, I think the plane flying in the city at the begining of bayo 2 would be great. It can also represent a similar scene in bayonetta 1 which is the first apparition of Jeanne in the game and because Jeanne is the most likely bayonetta newcomer, I think it would be great to have a scene from there. Also because it generally serves as a tutorial, it won't spoil a lot of hte game and it is one of hte most iconic and visually pleasing scene in generall.
I haven't played a game from all the series in Smash, but here's some stages from the series I have played that I would like in Smash Mario: World Bowser- it kills two birds with one stone being a bowser stage and a 3D world stage Zelda: Koholint Island from the Link's Awakening Remake- it could like move from the beach to the town and then to the forest and to Tal-Tal Heights and I think it would just be really great for 2D Zelda representation. Yoshi: I think a stage based off of the original Yoshi's island game would be great because I love how good that game looks even so many years later. Pokémon: The Sky Pillar from the Hoenn region - I think a stage like this would be amazing as Rayquazza is my favorite Pokémon and the sky pillar is just a really iconic place in the Hoenn Pokémon games which are unrepresented stage and fighter-wise in Smash so seeing this would be really cool. Sonic: City Escape: I know most people would want a stage from another 2D Sonic but I just like 3D Sonic better and City Escape is just so iconic and such a big part of so many peoples childhoods that I couldn't let it be left in the dust, so here it is. Animal Crossing: Maybe have an Island from New Horizons but make it have different seasons as backgrounds and have different hazards based on the season (kinda like the Mario Kart 8 Animal Crossing Track).
I think a good Splatoon stage would be the Shifty Station MC_Princess Diaries. It’s an Octo Expansion-inspired stage that can therefore serve for the series’ two other main modes, being Expansion and Splatfests.
Ice Climbers already had a vertical climbing stage in Melee, Icicle Mountain! Apparently the vertical moving stages like this had to get cut from Ultimate though because of the Stage Morph feature
They weren't cut because of the stage morph feature they were cut because they were some of the most hated stages in smash bros and they only wanted to add 100 stages
Sigh.. It’s sad that the second stage they represented for Sonic was “Windy Hill”. They should have chosen Speed Highway, City Escape, Seaside Hill, Crisis City or any stage from Sonic Colors
I'd vote for Crisis City myself. I love it's concept, even if it was implemented... Poorly, like all of '06 was, plus it's a VERY big contrast to both current sonic stages. Wouldn't even be hard to make hazards for either.
Josh Klein I actually like 06’s stages in Sonic’s story they are a lot of fun in my opinion. My main problem with 06 is that the hub worlds are confusing to navigate because everything looks the same in every area of the hub world and the load times of course. I guess the only thing I didn’t like about Crisis City was the glitchy mach speed section at the end and the so bad it’s good Snow Board physics.
@@theminecraft2516 See, that's the thing though. 06 had a lot of Great Concepts and Ideas and Level Designs, but fucked up so hard on actually implementing them that nobody bother looking past the terrible end result to look at what could have been solid stuff.
I will give them this though - the Windy Hill stage music is a JAM. But yeah, Windy Hill feels kinda redundant as a stage since it’s basically Green Hill with a Mario Galaxy twist.
@@joebove4 I mean, it's not like they couldn't have included the Music if they didn't include the stage. All Sonic really has going for it right now IS the Music, so they kinda HAD to, weather or not the Stage was
Bowser’s Castle: it’s never been in a Smash game despite being iconic. If that’s not that Mario stage in this video, imma stare at my screen very hard with a funny look on my face. ... Alright, I’ll take World Bowser too.
I agree. It’s time for a bowser’s castle. Honestly, the fact that adventure mode has bowser’s castle as a location, idk why you don’t fight bowser there in a stage setting.
The Paper Mario stage can’t even bother to properly unloop its only track and it also has the ONLY Paper Mario track in the game. No Super Paper Mario, no PM64, no Thousand Year Door...
(insert another FF stage comment) Though for real, I’ve literally never played a Final Fantasy game at all, and yet the Northern Cave is probably my favorite stage alongside Mementos.
For persona 5 I want “infernal Shibuya” with the final boss in the background firing at you as stage hazards Fire emblem: I want a stage based on Tokyo mirage sessions Pokémon: I want the slumbering Wilds: with fog as as a stage hazard and Zam and Zac showing up too
Heck yeah for Deepsea Metro. It's so underrated, the Octo Expansion deserves way more love in Smash. This would come with Octoling if they make it in and oh man the music selection coming with the stage is going to be amazing.
For Minecraft, the obvious pick is the nether. Dirt could be replaced with netherrack and stone could be blackstone, as it functions as a alternative anyway. Could have a lava pit in the center, and zombie pigmen who gang up on you when hit Edit: in theme with the other Minecraft stage, the backround could be the crimson forest, warped forest, basalt delta, nether wastes, or soul sand valley. Would also love to see New world which kinda functions like Pokémon stadium 2 and uses biomes that weren’t included
Some of my ideas: Winters (EarthBound): You'll fight on the edge of Lake Tess, and sometimes you'll get to use Tessie as a platform. Hogan's Alley (Hogan's Alley): This could be the second "Duck Hunt" stage. The cutouts would appear and you could attack them for "points" Fruity Factory (DKC Tropical Freeze): I loved this part of the game and I think the fruit flying everywhere would make for a cool stage. Game & Watch Gallery (Game & Watch Gallery Series): Honestly, I only want this for the awesome music, but it would be cool to have the Mario-themed Game & Watch games.
14:37 I think we know that the other possible stage for Punch Out!! would be the Jogging stage from the NES game. Would be cool to see Doc Louis with the bike in the background.
Consider the following. Lor Starcutter stage. Starts in dreamland where it's broken down, but after a little while it gets repaired, flies through Another Dimension, and lands in Halcandra. Landia will show up as a background hazard, attacking the ship and fighters with fireballs. The ship will be damaged after a little while and will be forced to return to Pop Star, seamlessly restarting the cycle.
For Bayonetta series i agree with you about Vigrid because it's present in both of her games, but another location that comes to my mind would be Noatun from bayo 2 because It would be a gorgeus and unique stage
for Mario I really hope they will bring back rainbow road, it is so iconic and I cannot undestand how rainow cruise, 75 m or hanenbow is in ultimate while rainbow road isn't. Otherwise as you said a bowser stage would make sens, I also thought about the star train from captain toad and I think rosalina's observatory would be much better than the current galaxy stage (even if you can argue than rainbow road would be rosalina's stage). Maybe an airship fortress would be good to represent the koopalinks although I personally don't love them. My last suggestion would be an underground world.
I would have preferred a different stage for wii fit, maybe something that switched from the original wii fit balance games, like from the soccer to the penguins to the tightrope. That way, it would have a wide variety of hazards and backgrounds.
I’d really like king Dedede’s arena from super star for Kirby’s stage Also for Minecraft, as Steve hadn’t came out at the time of the video, obvious choices would be the nether or the end, the nether could be a transitioning stage around the nether into the different biomes and a nether fortress, the end would be the Ender dragon’s arena (obviously) and it would appear as hazard, when killed would teleport to an end city
An Egg Themed Part In The Game And Watch Would Sick Because You Could Pick Up The Eggs And Throw Them At Other Players Also Like The Chef Part The Wolf Will Be Able To Get Knocked Out.
Since Wii Fit is technically in the Wii Series, I think Board Game Island from Wii Party would be absolutely amazing! The game is a super underrated gem and it could be a really cool moving stage. And since Mario Party doesn’t have a stage, this would be perfect!
On the duckhunt stage, you could walk on the clay pigeons, and a cursor would hover over a certain one for a couple seconds, and then it would shoot it and make the platform disappear
Here's ideas I have for stages for *some* of the series that already have stages in the game; *•SUPER* *MARIO;* Bowser's Castle: Could take place on top of the bridge that's usually found at the end of the level, & of course could be destroyed by hitting the axe, causing players to fall into the lava below. There could also probably a couple of platforms in the lava that'll rise slightly up out of it, so players can have an easier recovery. Also, the lava bubble enemies could occasionally jump out, acting as another hazard *•DONKEY* *KONG;* Gangplank Galleon: I'm *still* kinda surprised that we haven't gotten K. Rool's ship in the game as a stage. Anyways, but yea, that would be my pick for a new stage from DKC, it'd be like Tetra's pirate ship from Wind Waker, but it would bigger (obviously), & could have cannonballs raining down as a hazard *•THE* *LEGEND* *OF* *ZELDA;* Temple of Souls: If we were to get a new stage from Zelda, I'd want it to be something from Hyrule Warriors, or more specifically the place where Lana & Cia watch over the Zelda multiverse, since it is one of the only few original places that the game introduced. The stage would of course be pretty simple, with giant statues of various incarnations of Link in the background, including the 3 that are actually in this location in Hyrule Warriors *•METROID;* Phaaze: The final planet you visit in Metroid Prime 3. I picked this one cuz 1. Metroid Prime 3 is literally the *only* Metroid game I have not only played through for more than just a few minutes, but also beat, heck I was actually really close to 100%ing it when I used to have it. 2. I feel the stage would be more unique compared to the other stages from series we already have in Smash, utilizing the Phazon & whatnot in some way as hazards. 3. that game & Metroid Prime 2 are the only Metroid Prime games that don't have a stage in the Smash series yet, but I know next to nothing about Prime 2 since I've never the played it (at least not yet) *•KIRBY;* Jambandra Base: The final area from the most recent Kirby game, Kirby Star Allies. The stage itself could either be a transitioning stage where you get to fight in different parts of the base, *or* it could take place at the heart altar, with the Jamba Heart in the background, & from time to time, Hyness could show up & start attacking everyone *•POKÉMON;* Megalo Tower: Pretty self-explanatory, the stage would take place at the top of the tower, with Ultra-Necrozma acting as a stage boss. I'm also still kinda surprised we at least didn't get this as a stage from Sun & Moon/UltraSun & UltraMoon in the game *•STAR* *FOX;* Krazoa Palace: Would take place in the same area where Krystal gets frozen in, well, a crystal. There could fans blowing strong winds throughout the stage, or something, all while it's pouring heavy rains outside *•EARTHBOUND/MOTHER;* Sunflower Fields: Originally, I was gonna put either Threed or the Devil's Machine from EarthBound aka Mother 2 on here but I don't think we anymore stages from that game in (at least at the moment,) so I decided to put one of the most iconic locations from Mother 3 on here, especially to kinda contrast with the dark & slightly erie atmosphere of New Pork City. & yes, Hiniwaa's ghost could appear in the background as an easter egg from time to time *•KID* *ICARUS;* Underworld: Again, another iconic location I'm still kinda surprised didn't make it in as a stage. It could either have it's design from the og Kid Icarus for NES, or it's more recent one from Uprising, with alotta of the monsters from there acting as hazards *WARIO;* S.S. Teacup: Yes I know, it's another pirate ship stage, but just like with Gangplank Galleon, it could have a completely different layout, be a different size, etc. It would especially be the perfect stage for Captain Syrup if we get her in as one of the next dlc fighters *•SONIC* *THE* *HEDGEHOG;* Chemical Plant Zone: As much as I would *love* to get Casino Night Zone in more, I think we more than likely get Chemical Plant Zone, since it has been reappearing more in the recent games. It could have some unique hazards too, like the wall-clinging Badniks that shoot at'chu, the liquid chemicals that you sometimes have to go into (which fans have called Megamac,) etc. *•ANIMAL* *CROSSING;* City Plaza: Yes I know, we already have a City Folk stage in the game, but the one we got is literally just Smashville 2.0, I want one were you actually get to fight in the plaza itself, instead of a wooden platform made from a huge tree that flies over both it & the neighbouring village nearby. Would be cool too, cuz you could fight on the awnings, Serena could turn into her true form & throw axes at everyone as a hazard 😂😂😂, & even have various vehicles drive by, ramming into anyone who's on the the road when they do, & some of them could even be easter eggs, like Kapp'n's taxi from Wild World, the RVs from New Leaf, heck even Gulliver's flying saucer from both Wild World & City Folk *•PAC-MAN;* Pac-Village: The area you start off at in Pac-Man World 2. I would love to see this place make it in as a stage, cuz then we'd have more representation from the Pac-Man World series in the game. The stage would mainly take place in the center of the village, where the Golden Fruit Tree resides, & occasionally, the tree will rise into the sky while storm clouds appear overhead, with Spooky (the main villain of the game) coming in as a stage boss *•MIIS;* Nintendo Land Plaza: The stage would start off at the plaza itself, with literally *everything* you can get for it appearing in the background. Players can jump onto the top of the tower & fight there too. Eventually, however, the train will appear, & players most jump onto it, lest they be KO'd, then the train will take 'em to one of the several games that appear in Nintendo Land, each having their own unique layouts & hazards *•MINECRAFT;* The End: The stage first takes place on the island where the Ender Dragon resides, with the Ender Dragon acting as a stage boss, of course, with an army of Endermen acting as additional hazards. Eventually, however, one of the floating portal blocks will appear on the stage, & warp players to one of the other floating islands that appears in this infinite void
I always felt like the Giygas boss fight would be a great stage from Earthbound. Imagine Giygas being the background and he attacks the stage every once and a while.
I love all your ideas and this concept is cool here are some stages I thought would be interesting : *Fire Emblem -* Opera House of Cyrkensia Fight on the boats as Azura/Layla dance on stage and Garon groans from above. World of Zenith Have this be a changing stage. Start with the Summoning Alter -> Nifl (Snowy Ice Land) -> Múspell (Burning Waste Land) -> Hel (Basically the Catacombs of Paris) -> Ljósálfheimr (Magic Fairy World) Have various characters appear on the background including Kiran, Alfonse, Sharena, Anna, Veronica, Fjorm, Surtr, Loki, Eir, Hel and Peony. *Animal Crossing -* Blather's Museum (New Horizons) This place is beautiful, have it change from Bug Area -> Aquarium -> Fossil Area -> Art Gallery Random villagers aswell as Blathers could appear in the background and you could showcase different bugs, fish, fossils and artwork that can be found in game. Nookling Store Just like fighting in a shop and could showcase various AC items aswell as Smash items. Timmy, Tommy, Tom Nook and random villagers could be seen in the background. *R.O.B. -* Ancient Minister's Factory The area from Subspace where R.O.B. as the Ancient Minister trys to stop the other R.O.B.s from attaching to the bombs and dying. Very sad and it's what made me love R.O.B.
@@soundlessorc8O8 yes, but she looks the exact same way in A Link to the Past art, so I think that it should just be listed as the A Link to the Past design, instead of A Link Between Worlds one
The street for punch out where doc is on the bike and little Mac is running would be cool and maybe where you fight bowser in the first game of mario could be cool and you could cut the bridge with the axe, I would love both of those
For the Mount Rushmore in the back of Terry's stage I think it can be replaced with "Mount Smashmore" With Mario, Sonic, Kirby, and Picachu's faces on it.
The 2nd Minecraft stage should definitely be the End. Either the Dragon Arena or the End City would both work, but probably the former since it's the most iconic.
What about the nether, you could change the iron to gold as a visual change, not gameplay, and the dirt could be changed to nether blocks, I like the ends idea, but I fell as if the nether would make more sense because you have gold in the nether
@@sangkim6556 I feel the Nether wouldn't be unique enough, there's already Hell-ish stages in the game and the End feels more fitting because it's where the Final Boss of the game is fought and is thus more iconic. It doesn't really matter if it makes sense, considering you can get Iron and Diamonds from shoveling dirt in smash.
I hope Minecraft will have a traveling stage like Skyloft. Going from Deserts, Jungles, then Nether and The End. Or just going through the Nether, but the 2nd idea is not that great.
I don't know why they haven't done that yet! Like seriously! They added remixed for Mario Bros. 3: Final boss Mario Bros. 3: Airship Theme Mario Bros. 3: Fortress theme Mario World: Boss theme
Unpopular Opinion: Geno should come with Bowser’s Keep instead of Forest Maze. Bowser’s Keep is very important in the story and the Exor Sword crashes into the Castle at the beginning and later on in the game you eventually fight it and go to Smithy’s World.
For Fire Emblem stage ideas, it could use Grima's back from Awakening, Gronder Field or Enbarr from Three Houses, The Opera house from Fates, Zofia's Castle from Echoes and anything from Blazing blade & Path of Radiance
yeah my pick for a xenoblade stage is mor ardain, just for the music I'd have it be a transformation stage that cycles through the wastes, mor ardain, hardhaigh palace, and the old industrial complex with all of their respective songs compiled into a medley like the kirby retro stage
The stage collection in ultimate was amazing but I can't say it wasent a little disappointing that they left out 15 only because they were so close to having everything included
Your Persona pick is kind of weird. Fighting inside Dojima's house would be funny but a very odd pick. I'd personally pick the Velvet Room, which would shift between its appearances in Persona 1-5, with the Velvet attendants appearing in the background with their corresponding game (similar to Mementos and Garreg Mach). The Persona 1&2 appearances would also probably get a slight redesign to be a bit more detailed.

Personally I still believe that Urshifu will be in this fighter's pass, and the stage it comes with is the Isle of Armor. I know they want to add another promotional character in the pass, and this seems to fit perfectly to me. I would look forward to those remixes, specifically of the gym theme.
@@netsquire I always pictured it as down B being a "stance change," which changes the moveset. Also, your UI glows red or blue depending on which stance you're in as quick reference (and your idle position too, of course). It seems each DLC character brings a new mechanic no other character has, so this would be something really unique.
Why would you want Urshifu? There are already enough Pokemon in Ultimate and even if they were going to add another Urshifu is just a bland and boring pick.
@@gligarguy4010 I'd prefer Mimikyu, Meowth, Machamp, Gengar, Sceptile, Gardevoir, a Zelda character that isn't a triforce holder or a character from an unrepresented series like Golden Sun, Rythym Heaven, Excitebike, Sin & Punishment, or a 3rd party like Crash Bandicoot. Why do you want Urshifu I'm genuinely curious?

It would be great if Sakurai tried to represent more series without playable fighters with stages instead of just making them assist trophies. But at least we have custom stages
I feel like a better sonic stage would be stardust speedway, being significantly different from greenhill, having a possible miniboss of metal sonic, and being able to possibly change the stage with the time posts, it would be pretty unique
Kirby fan here, these are the 2 choices I have for new stages in the Kirby series 1. Paint Roller's Arena The Room you fight paint roller in Kirby's Adventure, specifically the Nightmare in Dreamland remake. The stage hazard is Paint Roller, who jumps and skates everywhere and draws whatever he drew in his Boss Fight in that game in order to annoy you. 2. Moonlight Mansion The Moonlight Mansion from Amazing Mirror. Visually I think it could borrow from King Golem's Boss Arena and from the rest of the mansion (ya know, bookcases and stuff). The stage hazard is King Golem himself, who occasionally slaps the ground to drop large rocks from above.
For Punch Out, I could see a stage working during the jogging section of the game. The players could fight on a city street overlooking the ocean with skyscrapers in the background, you'd of course see Doc Louis and Mac run by (If he isn't being used of course).
with that Fatal Fury stage the mount rushmore faces should be replaced with Mario, Link, Pikachu & Kirby a reference to the original reveal trailer from Smash Bros Brawl

Now that minecraft steve is in smash I will put this here, I will update when a new fighter comes:

@@Pikachu_Gamer123 There's only one Pikmin fighter in the game. Chill. Two stages is enough. It's not like the franchise is particularly big.
A stage idea I had for Mario is Flipside, where the stage layout would change periodically to mimic Mario swapping dimensions in Super Paper Mario

For Kirby I'd have anything from a modern game, as all the stages are from Sakuria's games.
Agreed. I’d love to see a stage like Nutty Noon from Return of Dreamland make it in!
I think that the Dedede ring will be a good one
Lluís that’s still a superstar/Kirby’s Dreamland exclusive stage dude. We’re trying to get a Kirby stage from a game Sakurai DIDN’T direct.
Mabye the final battle from starallies
I'd love to see Haltmann's mother ship as a stage.
"Going into a franchise that will not likely get a new stage"
Sephiroth: brings despair to the words
Here are my ideas for franchises that I know a lot about:
Mii: A Miitopia stage.
Good, but for my money I would choose the Darkest Lord's galaxy thing where they come as a stage hazard, using a random mii as their face.
Kirby should get “Another Dimension”
Either the original or the version that appeared in KSA
Yeah, I think Another Dimension is probably the best choice to represent modern Kirby because it’s referenced in basically all the recent games.
Potentially dimensional portals could be used that take you to different areas from other kirby games? Who knows...
Maybe 🤔 it could be a DLC stage when bandana dee is going to be DLC and end up in fighter pass 2

Best Kirby OST change my mind
Saturn Valley would be a great EarthBound stage. Mr. Saturn items would be everywhere.
And then a big Mr. Saturn gets angry and attacks the party for throwing his bretheren
Poor Chuggaconroy.
Cool idea, but bad for gameplay. No thanks.
Just hide in a corner behind the escape geyser. It works every time
19:00 “So I’m going with the Dojima residence from Persona 4”
*shows the shopping district
Yeah I think the shopping district would be better than a household
Hear me out:
A Sawmill Thrill stage takes place not on minecarts, but a wooden stage carved out by the saws.
A Pac-Man stage based off of Pac-Man world 2 would be awesome. One of my all time favorite childhood games.
I haven't played a game from all the series in Smash, but here's some stages from the series I have played that I would like in Smash
Mario: World Bowser- it kills two birds with one stone being a bowser stage and a 3D world stage
Zelda: Koholint Island from the Link's Awakening Remake- it could like move from the beach to the town and then to the forest and to Tal-Tal Heights and I think it would just be really great for 2D Zelda representation.
We already have a yoshis island stage sinse game cube tho
@@slimmy1873 I mean one with a background more based off of the original Yoshi's Island game, the stage we have just isn't cutting it for me.
@@vslazer6728 it's the same thing
@@aaronjames3228 It feels old to me, and it doesn't look as good as the actual game it's based on.
I think City Escape would be a cool Sonic stage.
Or Crysis City And Planet Wisp
C H A O G A R D E N
That fact bowser don't have his own stage is a crime.
I agree. It’s time for a bowser’s castle. Honestly, the fact that adventure mode has bowser’s castle as a location, idk why you don’t fight bowser there in a stage setting.
It's in the paper mario stage.
The Paper Mario stage can’t even bother to properly unloop its only track and it also has the ONLY Paper Mario track in the game.

This aged like milk
Hehe if you just drink the milk it won't age
(insert another FF stage comment)
Though for real, I’ve literally never played a Final Fantasy game at all, and yet the Northern Cave is probably my favorite stage alongside Mementos.
For persona 5 I want “infernal Shibuya” with the final boss in the background firing at you as stage hazards
Fire emblem: I want a stage based on Tokyo mirage sessions
Pokémon: I want the slumbering Wilds: with fog as as a stage hazard and Zam and Zac showing up too
POKEEEEEFLOAATSS
umm ok
The persona one would be a massive spoiler considering og p5 came out in 2017 and royal came out this year
Ballistic Boo I was thinking more the final both of the original P5, It’s their fault for not playing it, fantastic game
Bryce Ayscough No
Heck yeah for Deepsea Metro.
Could have a lava pit in the center, and zombie pigmen who gang up on you when hit
Edit: in theme with the other Minecraft stage, the backround could be the crimson forest, warped forest, basalt delta, nether wastes, or soul sand valley.
Would also love to see New world which kinda functions like Pokémon stadium 2 and uses biomes that weren’t included
Some of my ideas:
Winters (EarthBound): You'll fight on the edge of Lake Tess, and sometimes you'll get to use Tessie as a platform.
Hogan's Alley (Hogan's Alley): This could be the second "Duck Hunt" stage. The cutouts would appear and you could attack them for "points"
Fruity Factory (DKC Tropical Freeze): I loved this part of the game and I think the fruit flying everywhere would make for a cool stage.
Game & Watch Gallery (Game & Watch Gallery Series): Honestly, I only want this for the awesome music, but it would be cool to have the Mario-themed Game & Watch games.
For Xenoblade Chronicles, I would want Prison Island since it's a memorable battlefield
Kirby should have a stage based off of mangalore flying ship from return to dreamland
I like that idea
For a Wario Stage, I'd like to see something from Wario: Master of Disguise
The second stage for Minecraft would probably either be the underground or the Nether.
for Mario I really hope they will bring back rainbow road, it is so iconic and I cannot undestand how rainow cruise, 75 m or hanenbow is in ultimate while rainbow road isn't.
14:01 The only *fitting* stage.
I’d really like king Dedede’s arena from super star for Kirby’s stage
Also for Minecraft, as Steve hadn’t came out at the time of the video, obvious choices would be the nether or the end, the nether could be a transitioning stage around the nether into the different biomes and a nether fortress, the end would be the Ender dragon’s arena (obviously) and it would appear as hazard, when killed would teleport to an end city
A good Punch-Out stage would be the walkway that Little Mac runs with Doc Louis on his bike from the NES game!
Yep that or doc’s gym.
An Egg Themed Part In The Game And Watch Would Sick Because You Could Pick Up The Eggs And Throw Them At Other Players Also Like The Chef Part The Wolf Will Be Able To Get Knocked Out.
I love stages, small battlefield is awesome, I know it’s a month old, but still
Since Wii Fit is technically in the Wii Series, I think Board Game Island from Wii Party would be absolutely amazing!
The game is a super underrated gem and it could be a really cool moving stage. And since Mario Party doesn’t have a stage, this would be perfect!
If the DLC characters got two stages, Steve should have skyblock as one
On the duckhunt stage, you could walk on the clay pigeons, and a cursor would hover over a certain one for a couple seconds, and then it would shoot it and make the platform disappear
Final Fantasy: What did you say about stages?
The two stages are just Battlefield and Final Destination with some cool background effects. Quite sad.
@@smolse6854 still something
Here's ideas I have for stages for *some* of the series that already have stages in the game;
*•SUPER* *MARIO;*
Bowser's Castle: Could take place on top of the bridge that's usually found at the end of the level, & of course could be destroyed by hitting the axe, causing players to fall into the lava below. There could also probably a couple of platforms in the lava that'll rise slightly up out of it, so players can have an easier recovery. Also, the lava bubble enemies could occasionally jump out, acting as another hazard
*•DONKEY* *KONG;*
Gangplank Galleon: I'm *still* kinda surprised that we haven't gotten K. Rool's ship in the game as a stage. Anyways, but yea, that would be my pick for a new stage from DKC, it'd be like Tetra's pirate ship from Wind Waker, but it would bigger (obviously), & could have cannonballs raining down as a hazard
*•THE* *LEGEND* *OF* *ZELDA;*
Temple of Souls: If we were to get a new stage from Zelda, I'd want it to be something from Hyrule Warriors, or more specifically the place where Lana & Cia watch over the Zelda multiverse, since it is one of the only few original places that the game introduced. The stage would of course be pretty simple, with giant statues of various incarnations of Link in the background, including the 3 that are actually in this location in Hyrule Warriors
*•METROID;*
Phaaze: The final planet you visit in Metroid Prime 3. 3. that game & Metroid Prime 2 are the only Metroid Prime games that don't have a stage in the Smash series yet, but I know next to nothing about Prime 2 since I've never the played it (at least not yet)
*•KIRBY;*
Jambandra Base: The final area from the most recent Kirby game, Kirby Star Allies. The stage itself could either be a transitioning stage where you get to fight in different parts of the base, *or* it could take place at the heart altar, with the Jamba Heart in the background, & from time to time, Hyness could show up & start attacking everyone
*•POKÉMON;*
Megalo Tower: Pretty self-explanatory, the stage would take place at the top of the tower, with Ultra-Necrozma acting as a stage boss. I'm also still kinda surprised we at least didn't get this as a stage from Sun & Moon/UltraSun & UltraMoon in the game
*•STAR* *FOX;*
Krazoa Palace: Would take place in the same area where Krystal gets frozen in, well, a crystal. There could fans blowing strong winds throughout the stage, or something, all while it's pouring heavy rains outside
*•EARTHBOUND/MOTHER;*
Sunflower Fields: Originally, I was gonna put either Threed or the Devil's Machine from EarthBound aka Mother 2 on here but I don't think we anymore stages from that game in (at least at the moment,) so I decided to put one of the most iconic locations from Mother 3 on here, especially to kinda contrast with the dark & slightly erie atmosphere of New Pork City. & yes, Hiniwaa's ghost could appear in the background as an easter egg from time to time
*•KID* *ICARUS;*
Underworld: Again, another iconic location I'm still kinda surprised didn't make it in as a stage. It could either have it's design from the og Kid Icarus for NES, or it's more recent one from Uprising, with alotta of the monsters from there acting as hazards
*WARIO;*
S.S. Teacup: Yes I know, it's another pirate ship stage, but just like with Gangplank Galleon, it could have a completely different layout, be a different size, etc. It would especially be the perfect stage for Captain Syrup if we get her in as one of the next dlc fighters
*•SONIC* *THE* *HEDGEHOG;*
Chemical Plant Zone: As much as I would *love* to get Casino Night Zone in more, I think we more than likely get Chemical Plant Zone, since it has been reappearing more in the recent games. It could have some unique hazards too, like the wall-clinging Badniks that shoot at'chu, the liquid chemicals that you sometimes have to go into (which fans have called Megamac,) etc.
*•ANIMAL* *CROSSING;*
City Plaza: Yes I know, we already have a City Folk stage in the game, but the one we got is literally just Smashville 2.0, I want one were you actually get to fight in the plaza itself, instead of a wooden platform made from a huge tree that flies over both it & the neighbouring village nearby. Would be cool too, cuz you could fight on the awnings, Serena could turn into her true form & throw axes at everyone as a hazard 😂😂😂, & even have various vehicles drive by, ramming into anyone who's on the the road when they do, & some of them could even be easter eggs, like Kapp'n's taxi from Wild World, the RVs from New Leaf, heck even Gulliver's flying saucer from both Wild World & City Folk
*•PAC-MAN;*
Pac-Village: The area you start off at in Pac-Man World 2. I would love to see this place make it in as a stage, cuz then we'd have more representation from the Pac-Man World series in the game. The stage would mainly take place in the center of the village, where the Golden Fruit Tree resides, & occasionally, the tree will rise into the sky while storm clouds appear overhead, with Spooky (the main villain of the game) coming in as a stage boss
*•MIIS;*
Nintendo Land Plaza: The stage would start off at the plaza itself, with literally *everything* you can get for it appearing in the background. Players can jump onto the top of the tower & fight there too. Eventually, however, the train will appear, & players most jump onto it, lest they be KO'd, then the train will take 'em to one of the several games that appear in Nintendo Land, each having their own unique layouts & hazards
*•MINECRAFT;*
The End: The stage first takes place on the island where the Ender Dragon resides, with the Ender Dragon acting as a stage boss, of course, with an army of Endermen acting as additional hazards. Eventually, however, one of the floating portal blocks will appear on the stage, & warp players to one of the other floating islands that appears in this infinite void
It really is weird that we don't have a bowser stage yet, i feel each character should have a home stage with them
I always felt like the Giygas boss fight would be a great stage from Earthbound. Imagine Giygas being the background and he attacks the stage every once and a while.
Since steve is out, if he got a new one it would be the end or nether and the end could have the dragon as a stage boss/hazard
I think they should have the dragon and the stage but have it only in the story mode
My dream pick for a Sonic stage is City Escape, but I love the idea of Kronos Island from Sonic Frontiers as well
And Steve should have The End as his stage.
I love all your ideas and this concept is cool here are some stages I thought would be interesting :
*Fire Emblem -*
Opera House of Cyrkensia
Fight on the boats as Azura/Layla dance on stage and Garon groans from above.
World of Zenith
Have this be a changing stage.
Start with the Summoning Alter -> Nifl (Snowy Ice Land) -> Múspell (Burning Waste Land) -> Hel (Basically the Catacombs of Paris) -> Ljósálfheimr (Magic Fairy World)
Have various characters appear on the background including Kiran, Alfonse, Sharena, Anna, Veronica, Fjorm, Surtr, Loki, Eir, Hel and Peony.
*Animal Crossing -*
Blather's Museum (New Horizons)
This place is beautiful, have it change from Bug Area -> Aquarium -> Fossil Area -> Art Gallery
Random villagers aswell as Blathers could appear in the background and you could showcase different bugs, fish, fossils and artwork that can be found in game.
Nookling Store
Just like fighting in a shop and could showcase various AC items aswell as Smash items. Timmy, Tommy, Tom Nook and random villagers could be seen in the background.
*R.O.B. -*
Ancient Minister's Factory
The area from Subspace where R.O.B. as the Ancient Minister trys to stop the other R.O.B.s from attaching to the bombs and dying.
Very sad and it's what made me love R.O.B.
3:46 this is technically wrong, Zelda had this same design in A Link to the Past artwork, which predates A Link Between Worlds

@@soundlessorc8O8 yes, but she looks the exact same way in A Link to the Past art, so I think that it should just be listed as the A Link to the Past design, instead of A Link Between Worlds one
for punch out you could do the place that little mac runs after doc louis’s bike
why does peach get two of the same castle, while bowser gets none?
The street for punch out where doc is on the bike and little Mac is running would be cool and maybe where you fight bowser in the first game of mario could be cool and you could cut the bridge with the axe, I would love both of those
Kid cobras stage from arms would be sick in smash
For the Mount Rushmore in the back of Terry's stage I think it can be replaced with "Mount Smashmore" With Mario, Sonic, Kirby, and Picachu's faces on it.
I would instead have used Mario, link, donkey kong, and samus or kirby
Isn’t Zelda’s design based on A Link to the Past since that is the description palutena’s guidance gives about Zelda?
The design is actually something of a fusion between the two designs, of you pay attention to the little details.
The wiki says it's from a link between worlds , and also I *think* in a smash direct they confirmed that
plessie dude I see thanks!
Maybe you could try to do this with mario kart, too! I could really see that working!

Wait, isn't one of the velvet rooms a limousine??? How would that work?
@@roosterball1999 You make a valid point... I really don't know. Maybe you fight on top of it or something.

December 2020: "And I took that personally"
Punchout could have a stage where Mac practices, like the location in his reveal trailer. Obviously Doc would make an appearance.
Personally I still believe that Urshifu will be in this fighter's pass, and the stage it comes with is the Isle of Armor. I know they want to add another promotional character in the pass, and this seems to fit perfectly to me.
I would look forward to those remixes, specifically of the gym theme.
Imagine Kubfu but there's some kind of meter that decides if you become rapid strike or single strike
@@Gaspe19 Sorry you feel that way?
I'd probably think your top pick is lame too lol
@@gligarguy4010 I'd prefer Mimikyu, Meowth, Machamp, Gengar, Sceptile, Gardevoir, a Zelda character that isn't a triforce holder or a character from an unrepresented series like Golden Sun, Rythym Heaven, Excitebike, Sin & Punishment, or a 3rd party like Crash Bandicoot. Why do you want Urshifu I'm genuinely curious?
lanky kong should have a stage dedicated to himself because he's a GOD
If Tails is added to Smash Bros I want his stage to be Chemical Plant
I feel like tails is added it would be a echo fighter which would mean no stage but I like the ideas and I was just thinking if knuckles was added he could have angel island as a stage.
Mario- bowsers castle
Sonic- crisis city
Kid icarus- thunder cloud temple
Bowser's Castle
A Johto Stage
A Virtual boy Stage
Giygas
Saturn Vally
The Sanderson House (Chibi-robo)
Koholint Island
Gangplank Galleon
DK Mincarts
Excitebike
@Taiphonix I would love an excitebike stage
It would be great if Sakurai tried to represent more series without playable fighters with stages instead of just making them assist trophies. But at least we have custom stages
DLC stages
Mario Stage: bowser’s castle and rainbow road
Kirby stage: another dimension
Pokémon stage: melee melee island 🏝 and sky 🌌 of rayquaza
Mother stage: empire porky building
Ice 🧊 climbers stage: icy ❄️ mountain 🏔
Splatoon stage: inkopolis
Castlevania stage: Dracula’s castle 2
I feel like a better sonic stage would be stardust speedway, being significantly different from greenhill, having a possible miniboss of metal sonic, and being able to possibly change the stage with the time posts, it would be pretty unique
17:07 are you sure about that?
Kirby fan here, these are the 2 choices I have for new stages in the Kirby series
1. Paint Roller's Arena
The Room you fight paint roller in Kirby's Adventure, specifically the Nightmare in Dreamland remake. The stage hazard is Paint Roller, who jumps and skates everywhere and draws whatever he drew in his Boss Fight in that game in order to annoy you.
2. Moonlight Mansion
The Moonlight Mansion from Amazing Mirror. Visually I think it could borrow from King Golem's Boss Arena and from the rest of the mansion (ya know, bookcases and stuff). The stage hazard is King Golem himself, who occasionally slaps the ground to drop large rocks from above.
Say what you will about bayonetta but I think shes criminally under rated and needs at least one more stage.
What do people say about her
@@aaronjames3228 some people say she's too weak or sexualized even though she was designed by a woman and could totally kick sethoroth's ass
For Punch Out, I could see a stage working during the jogging section of the game. The players could fight on a city street overlooking the ocean with skyscrapers in the background, you'd of course see Doc Louis and Mac run by (If he isn't being used of course).
Nintendo’s creativity is in our hands now
with that Fatal Fury stage
the mount rushmore faces
should be replaced with Mario, Link, Pikachu & Kirby
a reference to the original reveal trailer from Smash Bros Brawl
Did someone say Final Fantasy isn't getting a new stage anytime soon?
For Crafted World, I'd choose Sunshine Station or Mr Gearys Factory, even possibly Kamek Kerfuffle
I made a Grumblump Inferno stage in smash!
Code to be added after I get my switch, but I'm too lazy to get up lol.
> Picks Grunty Industries for a new Banjo-Kazooie stage
You are absolutely correct, that's a great opinion right here
