Hi Roger , I think most os the salmon taste like crap sort of thing came about because the people catching them weren’t looking after them - if you leave any fish in a bucket out in the sun it will deteriorate quickly . I use a 2lt cordial bottle filled with water and frozen to keep my fish cool by part filling the bucket with sea water and putting the cordial bottle in the middle and i then place my fish in head first around the bottle . It doesn’t take long for the frozen bottle to cool the water down and i can also use it as a drink bottle . Sure it is an extra 2 kg to lug down the beach but as i can use it to cool the fish and drink its contents if i get thirsty i feel it worthwhile. Don’t Forget the fishcakes , once made they can be frozen and make a nice meal when the weather turns bad and you can’t get out for a fish ! The frames also make good crab baits !

Another great video Roger. I'd be really interested in learning more about finding sand bars and gutters on the beach
Hi Kevin, watch my 2 videos on How To Read A Beach :)
Excellent video... Super keen to get out there and give it a go! Love to know a bit more about beach fishing gear (rods/line size/reels etc) + Essential accessories.
OK, thanks for your feedback. I hope to cover these subjects shortly, regards Roger
Hi Roger. Thanks for another great clip. Where are you fishing for this clip? It looks absolutely beautiful. Thanks.

Hey bud. Another great video. From one fishing TH-camr to another I understand the time and effort that goes into editing/filming this content. Keep up the work. Matt.🐟 Thankyou.
Thanks Matt, all the best, Roger
Another great video mate! Quality information and tips
Much appreciated!
Hi Roger. Love your work and am an experienced fisherman myself. I do however, love to hear thoughts and ideas from other experienced fishos and would love to see you do a breakdown of the rods and reels you use for particular species off the beach, e.g. your thoughts on rod tapers/actions, line an casting ratings as well as reel sizes and preferred brands for rods and reels bearing in mind that old school rods are very hard to come by these days. Cheers in advance! Frank :)
Hi Frank, great to hear from you. I am working on quite a few videos at the moment so hopefully get on to your subject during this summer fishing season.
@@RogerOsborneFishing Cheers mate. Love all of your work and am happy to wait.
Nice to see your channel’s got some new content ....
Hi Bruce, yes thanks more on the way 👍
Hey roger can u please make a video on where you go beach worminh
Clear and concise! Great videos! Australia is on my bucket list. I always travel with a 7' telescopic spinner. Australia being such a big country/continent, where do you recommend I visit for DIY beach fishing? Now if you say anywhere is great all the better. ; D
Thx mate
Brilliant
Thanks Roger for a great video. Would be interested in what is your fave metal lure for Salmon. Cheers
Like to see the bleeding process for salmon and tailor etc.
Roger you are sure pure
Hi Roger, good to see you back. Any tips on how to avoid catching sharks? I love beach fishing with baits but I don’t like too much to catch something I don’t eat, I don’t like to disturb the fish for nothing. Thanks
Also, Salmon are amazing eaten raw! Great sushi
You never catch sharks when you use Beach Worms or Nippers for bait. Sharks like fish flesh and Squid.
How about Salmon on poppers? Would love to see a vid on that as it's the only way I've managed to target them
You can catch Australian salmon in Tasmania as well
