The problem is the Windows store on PC is so fucking trash. Some people have problems just downloading games from the store and they don't have any problems with things like Steam or Origin. I know someone who's gone over their data caps because they were trying to download Gears 4 on PC but it failed about halfway through a few times so they had to keep trying to download it. Imagine having to wait a month to download something because it keeps failing and keeps adding onto your data usage despite not having finished downloading.
That's not even to mention the other problems the store has or the problems many of the games have with optimization on PC.

It's such a shame, I remember how new, exciting and full of energy the original Xbox had, the exclusives were awesome like Project Gothem Racing, Munch's Oddysee, Fuision Frenzy, Wreckless: The Yakuza Missions and of course there's Halo.

This why I got a ps4. Xbox One is seriously lacking in the exclusives and new ips. I mean that PlayStation experience got me hyped up and this month we got Kingdom Hearts 2.8, Tales of Berseria, and Gravity Rush 2. Next month we got Horizon Zero Dawn and Nioh. March got Nier Automata and Kingdom Hearts 1.5 + 2.5, and sometime this year we get Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy. I was excited about this game because it was gonna give me a reason to actually want an Xbox One. But now I have no reason to really want one with every other game that's coming on Xbox One will also be on pc.
Remember when they revealed the Xbone and said that they had all these exclusives and Microsoft movie studio?
It's sad when any game IS cancelled. Doesn't matter if it's on Xbox, Playstation, PC or Wii(does anyone still play on Wii?) it's still sad. I want to see Microsoft/Xbox to reach out to more game developers who will make unique games like Sunset Overdrive or We Happy Few and really give them that support that was given to Halo 5.

I'm disappointed about scalebound being cancelled now the only 2 games Microsoft got left that i'm interested in is state of decay 2 & cuphead hopefully those 2 games don't get cancelled.

I don't think the line-up is as bad as people are making it seem. Could it be better? Sure. But theres also E3, new Game announcements, oculus support and new titles And Scorpio - which very well could have exclusive titles. Maybe.

The PS4 has 4 whole exclusives coming out January 24th (Yakuza 0, RE7, KH2.8, and Tales of Berseria).X-Box has really been slacking this year. It makes no sense that I had more of a reason to purchase a Vita than I've had to purchase an XBox one. Not even trying to knock the XBone that bad, but other than Halo Wars and maybe Quantum Break, There really isn't much of anything from the XBox side that's grabbed my attention that well besides Scalebound.
I can't say that I'm bothered about scalebound being cancelled. There didn't really ever seem to be a game there from what I saw. You had the dragon and some guy fighting final fantasy 15 robots but aside from that, what else was there?It sucks that there is one less title for MS but hey go scalebound was a concept at best not a game.

Technically Phil isn't wrong....if they were to push the Scalebound out it'd probably be sold only for Scorpio...Which would split Xbox's community..... Since it probably don't run too well on the Xbox One....
I'm not even gonna lie, I won't be surprised if Crackdown 3 gets low-key cancelled. We've literally heard next to nothing from it and we were supposed to get a beta (I think) but it never came out. So I guess we'll just have to see how the rest of 2017 goes for Microsoft and see which other games get taken by this delay/cancellation killstreak

I was looking forward to this game. Most of us Xbox owners dont have gaming pc capable of playing these games at an decent level so them being on pc doesnt bother/affect us. As for games I am looking forward to, Scalebound was my biggest. I am very interested in Crackdown 3, and will def get Halo Wars as I like RTS games and xcom is as close to that I can get thats great on consoles. Sea of Thieves looks fun but I have reservations. The year is looking slim for sure and they need to churn out more games for sure, I suspect they are looking to do something to energize their fans because they are going to need hype to help generate interest in Scorpio. They have done a great job the last two years building a lot of good will with the fans but they need to cap that off with delivering a slate of games for the near future too.

Currently have no game with a confirmed 2017 release date that I'm hyped for beside, Yooka -Laylee and Mass Effect Andromeda. Sony will likely have much better 2017, than Microsoft.

Sony is literally the only company with at least a decent future planned and are releasing a lot of games now. I know the big games can be far down the road sometimes, but the stuff that isn't AAA or press heavy are *still* pretty damn good games. I got the same complaints about Nintendo getting away scot free until the switch comes out. I swear the hope of key franchise drives that company because I cant fathom how anyone could honestly be satisfied with the way Nintendo handles business. Good luck getting a Switch. Everyone needs to pick up the pace.

I love my Xbox Ones! All my friends play on Xbox that's very most important to me. I have an XB1 on every tv in my house. I feel like it's so much more than only a gaming system. I use my XB1s everyday to entertain me! And that my friend is priceless...

Fanboyism, or lack thereof aside, Scalebound never stood a chance against Horizon Zero Dawn. That was blatantly clear in the tech demos shown for both respectively. That aside, it is a shame that Scalebound got cancelled. I was looking forward to potentially picking it up, as well as Cuphead, if I ended up getting the Scorpio later this year. However, Microsoft likes to graze the blade as close to their wrists as possible, whenever they get the chance. #L4Microsoft
