    Heck yeah! I love the concept of what you are doing here. A lot of people say the Husky 701 / KTM 690R are the unicorn bikes, but they can't do what the 500 can do.

      Definitely not, unless you are Chris Birch or Pol Tarrés, most people will not be able to race the 690/701 and be anywhere near competitive and the bike would just take an absolute beating. The 500 blurs that line a bit! The adventure to the race video comes out tomorrow, Friday 11/25, so definitely stay tuned for that. Happy Thanksgiving!

    Hey Dude, great bike. Just wondering what rack that was you installed?

      Thanks man, it’s the Fastway Pro Moto Billet rack, they have them at Rocky Mountain

    Right on my man!! Looks good. I have my 2012 Beta set up similar with the exception of using some old Giant Loop MoJavi bags and do hotel camping. No racing though. Those days of District 37 hare & hound are long behind me.... I wish you the best of luck in your upcoming event.

      That’s awesome Ollie! I’m 36 now, the older I get the more appealing the hotel only path is :) bike did great in the race it was a lot of fun!

      @@RobboRobinson Thank you man!! Been a busy year for sure! I'm working on the edit of the race on the bike... Spoiler alert, I had fuel pump trouble about 90 miles into the middle of the desert! LOL, classic KTM. Stay tuned and be well brother!

      @@SourceADV checkout my initial ADV build in this vid. The bike is now more or less finished. A further video will be coming maybe before Xmas. I’m taking it to Morrocco North Africa in March on a 1600 mile adv ride. th-cam.com/video/xcOhw1tTdaM/w-d-xo.html

    Waaaaay better than a Tenere 700 that is too heavy for offroad!

    • @SourceADV
      @SourceADV  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      For sure! And even better at racing enduros too… unless you’re Pol Torres! 🤣

    Love it.. Riding my 2013 KTM 450XC-W with lights and a plate. Fully street legal, best lightweight ADV/Dirtbike combo. At 55yrs old, its hotels for me!! lol By the way, how you tag that thing, don't they come with "off road use only" paperwork?

    • @SourceADV
      @SourceADV  ปีที่แล้ว

      Haha! At 35 I’m definitely leaning more towards trailer or hotel LOL - AZ is pretty lenient with tagging dirt bikes, you don’t even really need lights for a certain type of tag that just allows you to ride on non-highway roads, which is perfect for me. Cheers!
