For sure! And the 450XCF is missing the 6th gear LOL! Seems like KTM keeps making the 450’s tamer because it makes them faster in corners, where as the 500 is already there. I’m in Northern Arizona, so we have Mountain single track and open desert down in the valleys, this bike eats up both. Cheers!!
Well, it you're ever in UT you should hit up some of our races with us. USRA and UMORA are our series. It's desert racing, but similar to what you are riding. It's a fair mix of all terrains. Check out Ride With The Knights channel. They have some really good race footage of our series. It might interest you and makes for great content.
@@panic-revv85 Sounds great man! I've seen a bunch of the Ride With The Knights content, great stuff!! I would love to come up there next season, what's your favorite race that is the epitome of Utah? --- Also, I have a broken foot at the moment, so will be back at it mid Janaury. Cheers!
Hey man! Saw your comment about the race briefly, I think the email address triggered TH-cams auto delete, shoot me an email through hello at SourceADV.com
Great video. the Ktm500 has officially become a top notch race bike in the last couple years. I believe it’s won the “FINK” like four years in a row. It’s an Australian desert race with just miles of straight away whoops and some huge jumps, couple turns here and there.
This past Autumn I raced my first ever hare scramble on my 500 exc as well. I came in 153rd out of 200. The limiting factor was definitely my skills and not the bike. So much fun, and a very capable bike to do it all with.
Fun riding Camp Wood this weekend on the 500’s. I love this bike (Husqvarna FE501). I lowered mine a little and changed to ‘21 Xact forks setup for enduro. Best single-track bike I’ve ever had.
Good job man! I ride mostly single track and double track in the mountains on the lower west coast of Canada on my plated 500 and I love it. The thing I like most about my 500 is doing everything the 2T guys are doing on the trails and crushing it. Half the time they’re trying to keep up to me haha. Log jumps, huge Boulder features, double blacks and hill climbs. I know it’s not what it was designed for but being able to ride to the trails and keep up with the fast crowd is amazing. The best part is when you run into someone on a burly black diamond and they realize you’re on a 500 😂
Having a one bike does all is my dream aswell. Gonna start this journey with my first ever 4 stroke next spring, probably with the 24 models KTM. This is gonna be wild, I'm so excited
Hopefully in the next month or two! I broke my foot really bad in December which made me miss the first half of the racing season and decided to launch a new business RaceProvisions.com -- which is sports nutrition supplements for MOTO & MTB. But I have some time coming up here, so should be able to finish the build and that would be the next video. Then do the ADV to race sometime in the last three races in our series. Let me know if you have any questions!
I just installed that same Acerbis light on my '21 500 XFC-W, I haven't had a chance ride at night yet. What are your thoughts on it? Pros, cons? Thanks
It shoots way too wide versus projecting down the road for road rinding, but it’s pretty good for getting back from the trail. It’s exponentially better than stock. Cheers!
@@SourceADV Reading through the comments, looks like you might be in Flagstaff or near by? I am in Tucson, but used to live out there. The single track at A1 and by the airport is what I am used to, never made it around the mountain. We are in prime riding season weather at the moment. Heading to Hayfield Draw in Cottonwood this weekend. Cheers!
@@gctrails Yessir thats right! Those are some good trails. I was just down at hayfied a couple months back before I broke my foot.. I have a couple more weeks in the boot then back on the bike. Have fun in the Verde Valley!
Great bikes and easier to ride than most 450s, I think that's what people don't realize. What start are you located in?

@@SourceADV sent your way!
Congrats. And I agree the 500 setup is a great do everything bike.
Thanks man! New video coming out soon where I adventure it to a race in Page, AZ and camp off the bike then run the race. So fun!

Heck yah, it’s a great bike!
Great job!! You have just the right attitude for achieving your goals. Thanks for posting.
Thanks Allan! Can’t wait to race this beast more, just got to wait for a broken foot to heal. Doh!!!
Nice riding.. Definitely going to check this series out!
Cheers!

For sure! I agree, they are really fun and capable, but still can rip and are pretty darn happy on the street too. Keep at it! Enjoy the ride!
great content! Thinking of buying one of these.

@@SourceADV Yes Sir!! I think from our conversation you've convinced me to go with the GET ECU.
Get ecu and Blais racing 7 oz clutch weight
Great riding with yah!

Hahaha!!! It is fun to blow some minds of the 300 2T die hards… it’s like you are insulting their god when you go faster than them on this bike.

Just did the adventure to the race, it was a lot of fun and bike did great in both scenarios. Working on editing the videos right now. Stay tuned!
Next year I will be racing a 23 350xcf, they do feel lighter and easier to turn for racing
Nice riding brother…I have a 22 500 as well. Great do everything bikes.
Thanks man! It’s a great bike for sure
