It's funny because after playing black flag and looking at the cut scene's I can clearly see where Haytham get's his charisma and demeanor from, and his body language.
Including the inability to talk to strong, beautiful women. They have the charisma but deep down, the Kenway's are still simple Welsh farmers

But Edward was proficient in tree climbing way before he became an assassin thanks to the privateering (and pirating)
they were not actually trained climbing by the assassins.
Edward got his skills by taking risks as a pirate, and Connor learned it from the mohawks.
Kinda makes no sense considering as a parkour expert should be able to climb anything that has grip🕉
The Kenway storyline is actually really good. If only Connor got a sequel to give his character a proper ending

@Wednesday you don’t have to be an Ezio fanboy to understand and like a good story. At the end of the day Ezio just has the best complete story, it’s not generic at all. We see Ezio from Birth to death, and his story isn’t happy at all, his family was fucking hanged, his life was sad in the end, his home was fuckin bombed and raided by The borgias and his Uncle was killed right in front of him.And shallow is not the right word at all. Arno had a shallow story, Ezio felt like a real person you actually would know, he had a personal connection to us. Where as Edward had a similar story but no where as sad and personal as Ezio. Connors story is different to them all because of how he thought for his people and eventually lost in the end. And Haythams story is fragmented throughout the Colonial games, so we never got to see Haythams rise into a Templar

Ziio and Haytham were strangely compatible, without all the mushy romance:
1) They both knew how to fight and survive independently
2) They were both experts in their own right, but were willing to let each other lead to reach a common goal.
So sad things turned out the way they did, but glad AC3 took an honest look at our county’s history.

Fun Fact: Because Mohawk names are unique and never reused, Kaniehtí:io is also the name of her voice actress Kaniehtí:io Horn. For that same reason, Connor aka Ratonhnhaké:ton's name is not trademarked since no other character or person can or will share his name again according to tradition.

@@aeso3555not as much as you might think. There isn't a standard canon of names, like we associate with Western tradition, but instead names are based on regular language describing events around the time of the individual's life and based characteristics of the individual's personality
My fiance is of the mohawk tribe and this is partly true. Names can be reused as long as no one currently LIVING has it. Meaning that as long as the nameholder is deceased, it can be reused. Also, naming isn't that difficult as her language is extremely adjective and verb heavy. So all having unique names is easier than you'd think.

@@duaneelliott5194 What I intended to say is that despite their efforts they won't have a place in the new nation because the Sons of Liberty only spoke about the freedom of the white men and in the case of Charles, his failure to become commander instead of Washington, so they are both in a way forgotten by history.
It's a shame Edward didn't live to see his daughter in law.
He would have loved Connor, cause they both Captains and Edward would have trained Connor into the brotherhood.

I personally thought that Connor's story was more emotional than Ezio's. Connor watched his mother die when he was only little, grew up without his father then finds out he was a powerful leader for the enemy order, he then had to kill his father and his also best friend who betrayed him without a second thought. He also fought for George Washington who he then finds out betrayed him due to the order he placed to attack his village, the same attack during the Seven Years War that killed his mother.

Spikey Senju Ezio was 17 when his father and 2 brothers died, he was let's say already old enough and he still had his sister and mother, he had many girlfriends that he lost but at the end he at least found a woman and his best friend Leonardo was also still alive, Connor's story is a lot more tragic, he fought more and suffered more, Connor's story is a lot better but as you said everyone has their own opinion

We can also see why Haytham would fall in love with Ziio: She is strong, smart, beautiful and independent. However, we can't fathom why Edward would fall in love with Bella: She is bland, boring, dull, lacks personality and spineless.
What Haytham and Ziio had was love, what Edward and Bella had was lust.

People gave way too much hate to this game because Connor wasn't an exact replica of Ezio. It had a good story and good gameplay and if fans actually gave it chance, ubisoft could have made future games building Connor like they did Ezio

When we first see Connor the book he is reading is Kaniehtí:io's journal about Haytham being read in the loading screen.
That's why Connor already knows about his father when he meets Achillies. That fills a plot hole that's bugged me for years.
I would love an entire game featuring both Ziio and Haytham, they're two very cool characters who compliment each other really well. They're opposites in many ways, but they share a lot of respect for each other.

It never occurred to him to go raid the Homestead for Assassin documents that might give him clues on how to open the door up? I know the plot wouldn't have worked otherwise if we didn't turn Achilles into Yoda but it is a bit of a plothole, let's face it.
Edinburgh lad in Ac Rogue there is no mentioned of the Apple of Eden which is the key to the vault haytham is opening. He must assumed that Achilles have no knowledge of the vault othewise achilles would open it already. Achilles would not make the same mistake he did in rogue when he tries to take control of any precursor technology.

I wish this was all a separate game: A game about just Haytham before Connor existed; then a game about Connor; and then a sequel to give this a proper ending and then something for Edward’s life becoming a master assassin
Just read the novel adaptation. It does all that and it's fantastic, it even briefly delves a bit about Edward Kenway in his later years too
