This is the first of 3 videos where I will teach you how to land a helicopter in ARMA 3 by breaking down each critical step to a successful landing! With over 95,000 Tactical Insertions playing ARMA 3, it is safe to say that I know a thing or two about landing helicopters. My helicopter landings are fast, aggressive and precise; and I am confident you can land like I do by following these techniques.
In this first video, I will explain the foundational skills needed to perform a fast and precise helicopter landing. Skills like hovering & gliding a helicopter, all used to laying a foundation for a successful landing. Although the skills in this video appear simple, it is critical that you master these techniques before moving on to the next videos (coming soon) in this series.

Minimap is also bound to [ and ] respectively for their sides, its also very worth noting that these minimaps will eat your fps by 5-10 when opened

What do u mean by "collective"? S for down and W for up? Or Z and shift?
*S" if you're using default keybinds. But really it is whatever you have your collective set to. Some use a throttle or a PS4 controller, I use a rc controller for flying so my collective down is set to a gimbal stick.

Yes! It's a lot easier to fly with controller than mouse and keyboard
what are your FOV settings? did you tweak them in the config files?
Yes I did. Have it set to 81 degrees. There are a couple vids on YT that explain how to do.
do yyou use joystick?
I use a transmitter for flying remote controlled planes. It's called the Taranis qx7
