You have to appreciate this was released 45 years ago. No social media, no auto tune, nothing but themselves to promote themselves and it was the first real rock opera heard from a band essentially classed as a pop band. the video was one nobody had seen before the basic effects today were ground breaking at the time.

Hard to believe a 13 year old had not heard this. My granddaughter, now five, started doing the Mama Mia part at age two!

Number one rule: When listening to Queen head phones please. You are missing out there is special surprises especially on studio versions. You two are so cute looking at each other haha. Everyone needs to grow up knowing Queen and Dimash in my humble opinion 😍

"My 13 year old sister doesn't react to Queen 'Bohemian Rhapsody'. " - more accurately. Wow.

It's slightly strange that people don't seem to mention that the video for this song (filmed for the princely sum of £8000 apparently) was, essentially, the first of the music videos. All the more remarkable as it predated the MTV generation. It was made due to necessity - they needed to go on tour (indeed the "live" scenes were filmed on their practice set). They couldn't have known that it would then go on to stay at number 1 in the UK charts for 9 weeks but if they hadn't made the video they would have had to appear on the key television music show of the time "Top of the Pops". This involved "live" acts (actually they were generally miming to their hit song) and any group at number 1 would be expected to appear in the BBC studios which would have made touring very difficult to say the least and they couldn't not appear if asked (even if not number 1) because the BBC could make or break a career - they controlled Top of the Pops and Radio 1 the most listened to station for young (record buying) people. Saying no to the BBC was not an option for any band. Queen rather brilliantly squared the circle by creating this video - so they could go on tour, but still appear if needed (as it very much was) on Top of the Pops. The resultant video is pretty good imo if you can ignore the doubtful 70s fashion! I remember watching this as a boy of 8 in '74 and believe me, those were state of the art special effects!

Dude, you should totally have her listen to Somebody to Love live in Montreal, just to show her what Freddie can do.

You haven't reacted to White Queen live at the Hammersmitih Odeon yet and it is one of Queen's hidden gems!!!

She had that look on her face that I had the first time I heard Bohemian Rhapsody. "What the heck is this?" After listening to it a few times I stopped trying to analyse it and started enjoying it and realised that Queen were absolute masters of their art. A lot of the songs you hear day to day, especially at sporting events, are theirs. Usually you only see something like this once in a lifetime but we were blessed in the 70's and 80's with a lot of amazingly talented people bursting onto the scene. I doubt those times will be repeated. I guess we should be thankful that we have good quality recordings so we can relive those moments.

Loved seeing Sabrina's cute reaction and facial expressions. Smart introducing your sister to great music where real talent makes great music. Hope you do more reactions with your sister.

Hit your sis with 'Don't Stop Me Now' and 'We Will Rock You' and you'll probably have a new Queen fan all locked in.

Doesn’t matter what age you are, if you’re a techno minded, rock minded or classic minded person. Every normal function brain pauses and stops doing what it was doing when Freddy starts to sing.

What I took most from this is how much your sister loves you. And when the line, "open your eye's and see", her eyes widen. Beautiful vidio mate.
