Welcome to the world of Queen. The lead singer is Freddie Mercury. He was and still is a legend. He sadly passed away from AIDS in 91. He's very missed ❤ Considered to be the greatest vocalist of all time. Please react to Somebody To Love LIVE from Montreal.
If you notice, it’s only the American reactors who constantly interrupt the performance. People from other countries are better educated , have better manners, are more well spoken and show more class.
@@sitbone3 Allegedly they pause the videos because they're trying to prevent theirs from being blocked for copyright infringement. But if _one_ person, like Pemi, can allow the video to play through without pausing it and not get blocked, why can't they _all?_ I've seen several times where one reactor will not pause it at all and not get blocked and another will react to the same, exact video and pause the _hell_ out of it (like, every 30 seconds, if that). _WHY?_
Hey clueless and your similar friends in this thread. Reactors normally have to pause the song, or else You Tube takes the video down for copyright infringement. But, by breaking up the song, they are able to play it.
Agreed ... to even concider vocalists in his league you need to look at guys like Luciano Pavarotti and Placidio Domingo... and even then!, they have the range and control, sure -- but they dont rock as hard as Freddy & Queen 😁
@@PemisCorner Same for me. I have a playlist rota going on for hours. There's so many songs to discover. And, depending on your age and situation in life, each time you can take away different things from different songs. There's layers upon layers of meanings and possible interpretations and guiding words when you fall on hard times. Like a Rosetta Stone of music. (At least, it's for me...) ... And, well, then there's 'Bicycle Race'... :-D
Love watching someone find the genius that is Freddy Mercury for the very first time! Queen is Iconic and legendary. There will never be anything like this group. I'm sorry to tell you this, but it's all downhill from here! Lol. This is as good as it gets. Anything Queen did was spectacular, this was just their most memorable song. (Well, that's debatable). Listen to any of their hits, oh, and if you want to get an idea of just how big this song is, search youtube for "Crowd singing Bohemian Rhapsody at Green day concert". It will give you chills! Enjoy.
The first time is a religious experience. Seeing others go through the emotions is so much fun to see. Thank you. They also ROCK live. Check out Somebody To Love Live from Montreal 1981. (Live is better than album for that song). I’d love to see what you think.
They rocked like nobody else ever has done live. Freddie is was and will always be the greatest rock performer of all time. My greatest regret was I never got to see them live :(
Nice to have someone listen to this masterpiece without interruptions!! I had the honor to seeing this band with Freddie Mercury live 3 times and they did not disappoint!! They are truly as amazing live as they are on their videos and albums!!!
Freddie Mercury’s voice was extraordinary. The power, the tone, the range... it’s astonishing. Vocal coaches for the best singers in the world have been interviewed about that voice. Musicologists have studied it, trying to figure out how on earth it could work like that. And then there’s Freddie, the man who infused that voice with his intense passion for his craft, he made magic happen. He can break your heart or lift you high. The whole band is amazing, but Freddie had a truly rare talent. Although he’s gone, his music still speaks to generation after generation. It’s timeless.
How true you are, this is not a trick, nor technologically corrected voices, this is real talent, exceptional composition, and brilliant artistry on guitar, bass, drums, and piano, and of course vocals. Long Live Queen!!
Listen to a couple of other Live performances: YOU TAKE MY BREATH AWAY (live at Hyde Park 1976) and SOMEBODY TO LOVE (live at Montreal ‘81) and WHITE QUEEN (live, a Night at the Odeon).....You will be blown away by Queen’s talent!!😊
As other have mentioned welcome to the world of Queen. A couple of must do reactions: “Somebody to Love” live in Montreal 1981 and “Who Wants to Live Forever” live Budapest 1986. Queen did fantastic studio work and were just as amazing live on stage. They were the real deal on stage in the days before technology enhanced live performances.🔥👑🔥👑🔥
This is voted the best song of all time - world wide. - Pure musicianship - no autotune or other devices. You must go on reacting to Queen. Somebody to love - 1981 - Montreal - will also take your breath away.
You're explanation and assessment of this music is unmatched even with American reactors! You're english is beautiful! You know how to appreciate music!
Wow you absolutely appreciate all the amazing skill that went into the creation of this record. Great reaction video. In my lifetime 50 something years Im still waiting for a song to better this. But all my senses tell me its never gonna happen. BR was the pinnacle of song writing and Freddie the no1 lead vocalist ever. May you Enjoy Queen to the full.

The Queen set from Live Aid in 1985 has been called the most amazing 21 minutes in Rock history. The audience participation is phenomenal. Well worth watching again and again.
Dear Pemi, I truly enjoyed your reaction to Queen. You are not alone in how they made you feel. When you have time, listen to more Queen. They will blow your mind. Peace
For me these reaction videos are so fun to watch! Queen was a radio station staple growing up, and I forget that with the passage of time we have a generation that grew up with a different music selection. It's a delight to see people appreciate the music of my youth, as well as introducing me to their favorites as well. As with too many icons, Freddy left us too soon. I can only imagine what other epics he could have given us over time.
Now you know how we felt 45 years ago when we first heard this. In fact, there was a time when I was living with a drummer I was in a band with. Here's a tidbit that will blow your mind: Freddie wrote ALL of Bohemian Rhapsody. No collaborators: just him.
One reason why he is a legend.
Brian wrote his part
you do know its titbit!!? yes that is a T with an I then another T...
John also wrote his bass part...
Brian May wrote the track. And Queen is not a band I even like.
No, he wrote the lyrics. It's about him coming out of the closet to his Religious Mother.
The guy Freddie killed in the lyrics was the hetero part of himself. Bohemian Rhapsody was his come out song!!!
Literally your reaction of "why did this have to end" is my reaction every time I listen to Queen!! 😂
