- Fujifilm X100VI Test & Review: Great camera with HUGE problem!
I've tested the X100VI for weeks and even though I do like this camera a lot, it has a huge problem I will address in my review.
Fujifilm Netherlands gave me this camera to test, without payment or restrictions and expectations about my opinion.

Best x100vi overview video I’ve seen so far!
Thank you!!
You tube sent me here :)
The only thing I have as a drawback with my X100VI is with the optional Leather case (granted I use it as a half case and only attach top for storage) you don't have any access to the USB ports without removing from the case, so is problematic for charging (luckily as a fuji user, i have an external battery charger) and for transferring files without taking the SD card out. Luckily the SD card and battery can be removed without removing the case.
It is not a deal breaker as it takes a minute to take it out the case, but that is not something i want to do while traveling (if i wanted to charge from a usb power brick etc)
Good points!
I just got my camera and this was a very helpful video. Thank you!
I am happy to hear that! Have fun with the camera!!
Good review. Can you change ISO by from wheel? It would be good to control shutter speed by back wheel and ISO by front wheel...
Thank you! Yeah that is possible, since you can change every button via the fn-button setting menu :)
Hey, thanks for the detailed review. Can you check on visibility of rear lcd screen with polarized glares? Both when camera is held horizontal and vertical.
Since its street photography camera its important to work when wearing polarized glares.
Hi, thanks! That is a good question! I got the camera from Fujifilm to test and don't have it anymore. It uses the same screen as the previous versions, so maybe you could check it in a store with other Fujifilm models?
Hi, i have strugled to set film simulation bracketing, camera is set to raw and jpeg, but the braketing is not available, is there a simple way, many thanks
I will look into this. Maybe if you turn RAW off? So. Just jpegs.
@@cameradeals many thanks, just using jpeg doesnt alter it, a genuine thanks for your reply and help
@@robertturnbull4976 hmm. How about the shutter settings? Mechanical/electronic? I cant test it right now as i am on holiday and have no cameras with me. It probably says how to use it in their manual. You can find it on the Fujifilm website :)
@@cameradeals hi, please enjoy your holiday, I will alter a few thing and try to sort it out, you have been really helpful, many thanks
You got the problem right off ... this camera is not actually available. I "pre-ordered" mine within about 90 minutes within the sales supposedly going live. That was on February 20. No delivery yet. No update on any possible schedule for delivery. I've been a Canon shooter for five decades. Boring, predictable, but useable ... since it is my hand. This was an experiment in Fuji that has been less than impressive. 😑
A7C is a better camera
Yeah that is quite disappointing indeed. Though, of all cameras on the market, it was most likely to happen to this model. The camera stores told me it was also completely sold out without an hour, which is an all-time record. I hope you'll get it soon, or else cancel it and look into another model?

Jpegs out of the A7C are utterly shite! No it is not "better".
Yet they're all out of stocks. 😂
Sadly they are...
I hate the word influencers wtf are they what do they know everywhere you go you find them generally 20 something yr olds with no worldly knowledge or body beautiful people
Everything alright? Who are you talking about? :)
Unavailable. The only people I see with these are influencers and scalpers. Must be nice to be either one of them.
If it makes you feel better: I could just borrow it from Fujifilm for a few weeks and had to send it back after. Even better: there are quite some other (and maybe better) options on the market, which are in stock! :)
X100 VI is a garbage camera. Get the Sony A7C. Way better camera
The Sony A7C is a great camera indeed and about the same price if you look at the body. But with any lens it will get way more expensive. And I guess people choose the x100vi for its fixed lens and focal length. It is not a garbage camera at all and still uses the newest tech, which works well. Did you try shooting with the x100vi? :)
"Garbage" ? Why post a nutty comment ? What does it serve ?
Copium is strong here.
poor beast

He has to justify the expensive Sony and lenses when he secretly wanted the X100VI.
