  • I actually really enjoy replying to youtube comments so if you have any questions or thoughts, i'd really love to hear from you.
Here's how i'm implementing the X100VI into my everyday carry camera. No, it's not for professional use. And no, it's not for video. This camera is dedicated to soley taking family photos and memories that i'll personally want to cherish forever. No photo editing required!
If you enjoyed anything you saw from this channel - i'd love to have you along for the ride. We're on a mission here to reach 10,000 subscribers by the end of 2024! Lofty goal, but it can happen!
Catch you on the next video.

The problem is: Fujifilm X100VI can't replace my iPhone 16mm, 24mm and 70mm zoom range to shoot my family. When all my 3 daughters are near, 35mm can record only one face. That's why I have choosen Sony A7cR + 10-20mm f4 g. It can record 15mm to 45mm movies with oversampled 6k cropped video, using the best optical stabilization and autofocus. No chances, Fuji :D The Sony combination size is just a bit bigger and 170 gramms heavier

Video adds another perspective here, and I don't blame you for that choice! Appreciate the comment!

I'm a little interested in photography. Do you suggest x100v or x100vi as a beginner camera as i have no background in image editing or any software like that?

Hmmm, tough question. I’m not sure if I support the x100 line as a good beginner camera or not. Mainly for the fixed lens. Yes, you can learn and on an x100 camera easily (even retains the ability to edit your RAW photos down the line when you’re ready) but the fixed lens system offers no room to grow. So, if you want to explore different areas of photography and want to get different focal lengths, you have to buy a whole new camera body. The 35mm focal distance isn’t for everyone.

@@RossBarnett02 agreed, the x100 is a good SECOND camera. Something like the x-e3/4 x-t30ii might be a better option!

I used to shoot with Sony also and made the leap of faith and sold it all to switch to Fujifilm and honestly I’m glad I did. Yeah the autofocus isn’t the best( it’s shit compared to Sony, let’s be real lol) but the user experience and the creative side it brings out is so rewarding. It works well for me for professional work and for a EDC. Less editing the better, and having more time behind the camera is great. Curious to know what film simulations you like to use most or what’s your go to. Great video btw!

oh yeah! I have a few fuji friends that are trying to get me to turn to the dark side and sell all my Sony gear. Can't happen at this point, I'm too invested... I dropped a video last week on Bright Kodak and show some example photos of a recent beach trip. Between "Bright Kodak" and "Kodak Gold 200" I've been pretty much sticking to those two looks entirely.
      Appreciate the comment!
