I have a 2015 550 with the TU engine. Just doing the main belt and took all the bracing off. Gave up because there’s allot more than these pre lci models. Seen the gap underneath the belly pan and took me about 10 minutes from under the car!!!!!

So pull up with the t60 to loosen the belt?

did you figure it out? Do you actually just pull straight up to loosen it? I have to remove it to remove the drivers side intercooler and remove a blown coolant hose lol

@@robd2387 Yes pull straight up. I had to connect a steel pipe for extra leverage to pull that sucker up.

No push down like your trying to tighten a bolt make sure your tool is long enough for you to get get a good leverage on it

I’m almost 100% sure I gotta replace my tensioner. It’s causing my alternator to not work optimally.
Car wants to almost stall at idle and loses power like crazy when reversing into parking spots.
