BMW N63 misfire engine intake valves carbon cleaning inspecting the cause of the problem

    Hi, I am Francisco.
    We are a group of vehicle enthusiasts looking for Car meets, car shows, drag racing, roll racing, New cars, etc,..
    after replacing the spark plugs on this N63, the misfire stay on cylinder number 7. the coil was good, the injector was good but still misfire.
    the leads to a internal engine failure that can can by a low compression in the cylinder No. 7
    by pressure testing the cylinder you can tell from where the leak is coming from. at the end, the leak was found in the intake valves.
    but, that is a problem because, to really clean the intake valve you have to remove major components of the engine.
    this could be a problem, but, there is solutions. using a intake valve cleaner can help as i showed in this video. so now you now, if a misfire never goes away, clean the intake valve
    VERY IMPORTANT: MAKE SURE TO DELETE THE CODES OF THE COMPUTER BEFORE STARTING THE ENGINE OTHERWISE THE PEOBLEM WILL STAY PRESENT.

      I also have an n63, having a misfire on 4 , just wondering where did u spray the CRC cleaner and if u removed any ma sensors

      @@aaftlifemuzic I sprayed it into the intake boots on either side with the engine running AFTER the maf sensor. Just loosed the clamp and slide the straw into the boot

      @@Johnathan_Waters I'm trying this as we speak connected the compression gauge tester in fear of no compression and to my relief I had 175 compression on suspected cylinder!!!!! 🤗So now time to give this bottle a try!!

      @@jrpcoins Just to add some more updated info to this, the particular engine I was working on before ended up (again) with misfires, and the owner of the car continued driving it despite my warnings (and the engine running like total crap) and ended up with a broken timing chain within a month or so. So, CHECK YOUR TIMING CHAIN!!!! Valve timing being out due to a stretched timing chain can also cause misfires!

    Hey man! U need to clear adaptations in DME after your procedure, so DME misfires counter will be zero again.

    I have a missfire on cylinder 4 on my n63. I changed plugs and the coil is good. Trying to figure out where to spray the CRC cleaner and if I need to remove any sensors

    Thank you! Plan on doing a carbon clean on my F02 but was wondering where the best place to inject the CRC was. Please keep the N63 videos coming. Interested in seeing coolant replacement (including intercoolers) and transmission fluid.

      Did you do this procedure? if so did you do it on both sides of the engine? i have an n63tu motor, and was wondering if i should run a can of this between the 2 sides, as i do get a DTM and misfire message rarely...

    Hi
    I have the same engine and sometimes when accelerate a misfire on cylinder 4 pop's up.
    I checked the compression test and the results was fine.
    Just one question I saw that when you did the HPFP test it shows 100 bar.
    My engine shows 50 bar.
    Is this the problem?

    Thanks for the video. I’m having this exact scenario on my 2016 750i xDrive. Replaced all plugs and coil packs to no avail and found no compression in cylinder 7. Picked up the spray today, OBD2 will be in tomorrow. To clarify, I do the spray, then clear the code before restarting, correct? Or do I clear the code before doing the spray?

      Clear code before spraying. If it works light won't come back on. If it does come on then I recommend having walnut blast the valves, which is the proper way. Quite expensive but the come up like new.

    Thank you for all the videos they are very helpful. I have a question on my 2012 750i xdrive, I unlock all my doors with my key fob but my driver door does not unlock also all my other doors do not lock. Any idea what I can do ?

      Ivan Quirino hi check if all the doors are closed check the other key fob not in the car check for the key fob battery

      I think this is something that can be coded with an enet cable ($25 on amazon, will need an ethernet to usb-c or ethernet to lightning adapter too) and bimmercode app on your phone

    Great videos man you are a genius I wish I could get my car to your shop.! I have a question. My 2011 550i show up a misfire when I push the gas hard over 50 or 60 miles. Any idea what causes this problem?. Also I turn off the engine and start it up again and the problem gone but it comes back when I force the engine. I will appreciate any answers thank you.

      I had the same problem. I changed my coils and plugs. It runs great now

    this happen because not using high octine gas, or use cleaner with the gas like lucas fuel cleaner

    Would it have worked better if you had sprayed the cleaner in at the bottom of or at the inter coolers? Then it wouldn't have as far to go to get to the intake valves. I don't know if the boost from the turbos would be to high but I'm guessing at that low of an idle and not under load it wouldn't be boosting to much

    i got a 2011 750lixdrive 182k miles starting to get the drivetrain yatta yatta...replaced coils and spark plugs, problem comes back after a couple days if I let it sit it goes away, where do I start...had misfire codes, i think it may just be a leak somewhere

      I know this is a fairly old comment, but it could either be the high pressure fuel pump, or it could be a partially clogged injector that is causing your drive train malfunction. I own a 2011 550i xDrive and had the same issue you are having on your 750li

      Yes. If you have no other issues and it cleans them the drivetrain malfuntion will not come back

      actually i just checked the compression of suspected cylinder (#4) and it passed at 175. but the damn code wont go away even after clearing all codes. i have yet to change the fuel injectors and have yet to hit it with carb cleaner

    I need some help with my 08 750i twin turbo. Misfires jumping around. New plugs and coils. Compression on 5-8 = 200 cylinders 1-4 = 110 to 140

      That is a low compression.
      Maybe you have a compression leak in the internal components of the engine

    that particular year was garbage....the N63tu was a lil better....stay far away from 2013 and down....2014 on up much better improvement
