For anyone having mana issues, there's a searing exarch helmet implicit for "attacks have 20% reduced mana cost" if you combine that with inspiration/ alt quality gmp/lmp and replica conquerors efficiency you can get your mana cost to be between 1-3 depending on your support gems Edit: I don't have -mana cost crafted on any of my gear and my skill costs 1 mana(for inspiration charges)

I might be getting something wrong here, but @ 25:40, if you need to annul a suffix couldn't you just use a greater ichor to make the item eater of world dominant, eldritch annul, then use a lesser ichor then a greater amber to put dominance back to exarch again? As long as you're not locking in your eldritch modifiers first you can switch the dominance at will this way I think.
There something new in a 3.17 about Quivers. GGG replaced old mod "%ele dmg" with new one "% increased Damage with Bow Skills", which have only one tag - "Damage". This mod and Life mod are only 2 mods without tag "Attack" on a prefixes. So you can craft "Cannot roll Attack modifiers" and slam exalted orb or Leo from Betrayal with full suffixes to get "% increased Damage with Bow Skills" (or Life if not already there).

Thank you for this information! I might miss something though, but crafting a 800 dps+ bow is easy, but far from cheap. Deafening essences of Hatred are 4c each and getting t3-t4 fire AND lightning mods is quite rare. An alternative would be to craft with essence of anger or wrath and search for the t1 cold. It seems cheaper and garantee 2 t1 elem mods which is not bad in the end and the essences are cheaper.
For those doing the eldritch chaos crafting method at 27:23 be aware that it got nerfed! It wont preserve the number of suffixes OR prefixes anymore so its a lot more risky now to reroll if you are trying to isolate a prefix like life! Hopefully this mid league patch/change doesnt screw people over who assumed it still worked the same!
Great work as always. Using veiled chaos orb can fill up all suffix/prefix. it is safer to go for aisling t4 if u don't have reforge keep prefix/suffix on end game expensive items.
I just want to point out while you were making the quiver you mentioned to finish the craft with harvest augment however you cannot augment harvest craft any influenced items which also means a synthesize +1 arrow base is classified as influenced. I hit this brick wall while i was trying to mirror craft my cold damage per frenzy synthesize ring and really the only actual option you have left at that point is to exalt slam the last mod
apparently on gloves if u have any speed modifier on the searing exarch implicit like "mine throwing speed", doing harvest reroll speed will not guarantee attack speed on suffix and sometimes even giving a random suffix at least that's the case on craft of exile im not sure if it's supposed to be like that but just a heads up :>
@@pathofmatth yup or just reroll the implicit since it's just the lesser orb... but in the google docs it stated to apply searing exarch orb first which, could hit any of the speed modifiers implicit, for removing prefixes and nowhere in the docs and video (i think) states that it could have an outcome like that...
i didnt know harvest reforge counted implicits as well so i wanted to ask if it was a bug or it was meant to be this way since there was no indication in the video and in google docs :D
Is there any way to made this build bit tanky? As currently some mobs (expedition for example) just one shot me. Usually they don't hit me, or 1 shot. No mid ground
I took both mana reservation clusters and both masteries(15% aura effect on you) aura effect is by far the best way to scale determination. You can then take the onslaught nodes with gain 5% evasion as extra armor. I ended up with 3.6k life 35k evasion and 20k armor. 6.6k molten shells are OP. You do lose a decent bit of damage though, this build is extremely point starved.
Question: Relates to the spine vs thicket debate. I was checking and having trouble hitting high enough brittle to crit cap with my current spine bow (8.25 crit w/ crafted crit instead of double damage, and t2 cold roll). The double damage roll is important im guessing because a big double proc hit is needed to push up that brittle value alot? is that accurate? I havent seen it explained that way but it would make sense to me.
Double damage is basically just a straight up more multiplier, of you have 10% double damage, you have 10% more dmg on average, so thicket IS best but only when you have a lot of big dmg, since crit is no longer relevant once you have loads of brittle
Hi I am trying to follow the way you crafted the bow but I tried the mods in POB and wonder why increasing the attack speed by 13% works out to be more powerful than adding 22% while rare enemies nearby. Also is it possible to double up the attack speed modifiers?.. Say 22% attack speed while rare enemies are nearby + (veiled) 30% increased attack speed while a rare or unique enemy is nearby.
I found veiled gloves with 2t1 resistances and veiled suffix. Got last res+chaos res on unveil. So basically now i have three t1 suffix (47/47/20+20). Is it worth doing something with them? should i see em to someone who would possibly make em mirror tier, Or should i try to do it myself? Kinda think that i need atleast 100ex budget to make em
This video is all hypothetical crafting assuming you have an abundance of every resource in the game. What I get out of this video is that you can use craft of exile to day dream about what you can't afford to get in the game. How do you make the gear if this is your first season? If you don't have all these crafting currency(s)? If you don't have all the bench recipes unlocked?
For budget rings you're much better off crafting using fundamental fossils and then harvest reforge same mods more likely. 1) Acquire high level shaper ring base of your choice. Preferably ilvl 82-83, but the difference with 84+ is extremely minor. 2) Fundamental fossils until you have either two attributes (any tier) + life + open prefix + open suffix OR (more likely) all 3 attributes + open prefix + life or another open prefix. This is about 1 in 6. 3) Craft life or the missing attribute as appropriate. If you're lucky and you have all those and two open prefixes, craft on your choice of ele dmg with attacks (flat or %). DO NOT craft on the +dmg to two elements you get from unveils. You must craft on a mod that can normally roll on a ring. 4) Reforge same mods more likely. This turns your crafted mod into a real mod and (hopefully) the other mods all stick (they usually do). Repeat until you get an acceptable result. If any mods fall off, you'll need to go back to 2. 5) If you didn't screw up you have an open prefix to craft -mana cost. (this is the biggest saving, you don't need 2 ex to get your life mod) This sounds RNG until you realise to get 100+ omni with three stats is 33 each. That's an AVERAGE roll for a stat. Then you realise that a 50-59 life roll is only slightly above average. There's a LOT of room to go up and the cost is very low.

So i followed your steps, but after having a 970 eDPS base, crafting prefixes cannot be changed and hitting with a veiled chaos i got 3 suffes (+1 mana on kill, stun duration, veiled mod) thus i cannot follow the rest of the steps. What should i do? Annul and pray to hit one of the two bad mods or any other decent way to finish this of of should i just unveil and recraft prefixes cannot be changed and try again?
What do you do if your veiled chaos orb puts in 2 other suffixes and you can't block that bad veiled mod? What if you then end up with a bad veiled mod. All your suffixes are taken, so is there a way to fix the bow? I'm trying to figure this out before I brick my 1100 edps bow xD

If you use an essence you get an item which can have up to 6 affixes. If i take that into account i think that the quiver craft is a little bit more complicated than shown in your guide. After getting +1 arrow I have to annul untill I have a free prefix-slot and a free suffix-slot to craft "can have up to 3 crafted modifiers" and "suffixes cannot be changed". If I hit accuracy or +1 arrow with my annul I have to start from the beginning. As +1 arrow is quite a rare affix this will be very annoying and expensive. I have crafted the boots with the emulator and I think there is also a problem. If you use the veiled chaos orb and geht your veiled prefix + 2 other prefixes you have no chance to craft "suffixes cannot be changed" in order to use another veiled chaos orb. So you have to take the prefixes which you have - even if they are crap.
Spine is for bow builds that use physical damage and want crit on top of decent base a.speed. We cap our crit with brittle. And e.dps isnt affect by base stats of bows
You are mixing that with pdps. 800epds weapons have been a thing for long long time. Its just that its always kinda sucked to use more than one element
Have you thought about doing a cheaper version of this crafting with the new currency's? They are crazy cheap but you wont get your veiled mods, but you dont need to use many Ex just to craft ton suffix cant be changed over and over and over lol.
I am going 80-90% of Phys damage taken as elemental with gen cry. It loses abyssus but gains a lot in terms of surv. I might go 100% and transendance, and then I should have a ton of surv, especially compared to a "normal" gen cry zerker. Sure I lose 10 mil DPS, so I "only" have 50 mil DPS instead of 60, but that is more than enough for everything. But going from 60k ehp, to 460ehp is a major kick in the face to anything trying to kill me.

I face tanked both of them. :-) I am using poachers mark now, because I had 2 open gems slots, so why not.

16:20 you can also craft another prefix mod so it won't be 50/50 but 33.3/66.6 thus maximizing the chances for aisling unveil

you can augment synthesized items my dude, just today I augmented my bow, which is a synth +1 arrow base

make sure to apply the speed reforge BEFORE the influence, you need to finish suffixes before you go do prefixes anyways!

not really, for attacks the gem level does not do that much. An additional arrow would be good
