Dash + Enhance + Helm Enchant (2 Additional Charges) + Second Wind You can get CDR from: Ashes of the Stars (via Quality) Belt (Crusader, Shaper, Unveil or even Bench Craft) or The Flow Untethered / The Torrent's Reclamation Unique Belts. Boots (Eldritch Implicit for easy 30% Dash CDR) or The Stampede Unique Boots can be upwards of 80% You really don't need 1 sec cooldown, base cooldown is 2.38 seconds and you only need around 1.5 so Enhance + Ashes (regular Aurabot Amulet) is enough as it brings it to ~1.7 second. Stampede makes it super smooth at ~1 second though
shieldcharge + reverse dash (dash without moving is always reverse afaik) so resetter just uses 2buttons to reset, thats how I always reset when I leech 5-ways with an haste aura or just a lil attackspeed the shielsharge is pretty much instant since u just dash outside of the ring and you dont need anything for the dash but I guess both would work

@@jonnyjazzz not fast enough to walk also aurabots can easily fit those in as they don't need to run regular auras like dmg ones you only need purities + defensive auras on the aurabot, to keep the party alive, the carry doesn't need the auras from the aurabot also the CD for dash is fine with just dash + enhance + ashes of stars & stampede, alternatively you don't need stampede if you just shield charge in and dash back out, for that 1.7 sec cooldown is more than enough

I did this for 1 league and it felt like I was driving a schoolbus. If you hit one bump all the kids starts crying but if you do it good they just leave and say nothing. And sometimes the bus just decides to fall apart and all hell breaks loose. So incredibly anoying to do it even if it was insane money.
@@Utoko Ur right but when it isnt absolutely perfect everyone complains. Ofc they can have an opinion but when instead of getting 4% xp they get 3.8% they complain its just cringe. Worst is def when the instance crash (bus just breaks apart). I lose money and they lose xp which are the two things we want... Imo it isnt worth the hustle
I use the dash method but the game kicks you if you keep dashing in the same spot. Been using the dash trick for many leagues now. You don't need any special dash enchants or cool down, level one works just fine.
Dash has a baseline CDR of 2.38 seconds though, that's too slow to be able to instant go out and back in perfectly. I don't think you need much better than like 1.5 sec though since charging is pretty long. You can also just shield charge in and backward dash out. The skills used don't matter much, the timing is what matters, hence why macros are dumb OP
just to add a little something on.... as someone who also runs thousands of 5ways, over time iv found that standing in the top or bottom, rather than the left or right side (for the leechers) is far better exp, approx 15-20% more exp gained per run. the map is wider then it is tall, approx 8% wider. when standing on either left/right side you will miss kills fromt he far corner that your not on. if you stand in the top or bottom middle though, you will be in range of more of the kills. with the leechers standing on either right/left side your Missing a few % exp every run!
Not true, the exp is same everywhere. By everywhere i mean absolutely everywhere. Legion is a pretty unique place because normally in maps there is exp range

I've been Aurabotting Reseting 5ways for few Leagues now to get my Aurabots to level 100. The best run I noticed was with a Carry that stood still like in the non-tos friendly example and shot from there while I was standing exactly above him to reset and the rest of party stood also around him, slightly to the left so all were in my range. I do not remember exact kill count, but was the smoothest run I had. [I was doing manual resets with Shield Charge + Dash]
same, i joined as a leecher with a carry + aurabot doing exactly that, in fact it was the first run where we were not told to hug the afk stone and it was at that time i think 2 leagues ago(?) and xp wise he was like x1.5 as efficient as the ones running all over the place
I like how TFT closed the lab running channel because a lot of all the lab runners were RMTing and it was very obvious and finally they decided to do something about it, but the 5-way channel is also full of RMTers and script runners (usually both at the same time) and that is even more obvious, yet that channel stays live. That's probably done because when a lab runner gets banned, all the helms they received get deleted from the game, yet when a 5-way spammer gets banned it doesn't really hurt anyone but themselves unless it happens literally mid-service.
That's exactly why, yes. 5 way runners getting banned doesn't affect TFT reputation or logistics or anything, a lab runner getting banned with a bunch of items from other players is a big blow to TFT and causes a lot of drama
Hi Pom! I have been running 5ways with my friend for the first time this league, and the "dash tech" is cool! But how do you deal with headhunter getting the flicker strike buff from monsters? When I try to stay at one place and spin around, I get randomly teleported around from time to time. I wonder if there is a solution to this. Thanks!
Thank-you for this. This confirms what I have been wondering about. Some guy shows up in standard, looking for resetters. He gets on my case a bit becuase I can't get higher than 8k+ while some other guy hits 10k consistently (he does the spin in place thing)......infact now that I think of it he says he just AFK's while holding a key in place. Meanwhile I'm feel I'm going to have a seziure staring at the dang screen trying to get perfect timing while the lights are flashing all the time. Now I understand not only was the other re-setter using a script, but he likely was too. The day I mention it he does a 180 personality switch and tosses me out of his group and refuses to speak to me. I knew he was just a little to friendly to be true.
with kb , u don't need to use script if u done ur build right and resetter is good , just holding the attack u leech mana and also life , and if hh teleport u, u just get back , as long as carry have enough dmg all the kill count depends on the resetter

you don't even need headhunter to get started, double inspired is fine however HH is highly recommended to get best value also... 300 div is nothing... these people are making easily 30 div / h with lvling gems with an alt + 4 "clients" ontop of the loot (jewels ALWAYS go to the map owner)
How about 2 resetters in sync? Whirling blades, stack attack speed and dash with attack in place so it automatically goes backwards. Now however, I don't remember if these have the same distance travelled.

Only time you would do 2 resetters is if someone new to 5ways dies and leaves the map or their game crashes. Also having more than 1 resetter in a group of random people is annoying imo. I do resetting to get my aurabots to 100 and when I have to duo reset cause someone DC'd or whatever it's almost always unrecoverable. They either go into the middle to early before the circle respawns or they stand still after the explosion and don't leave for 1-2 seconds. This causes resetting to take nearly twice as long almost out weighing the entire point of having 2 resetters. If you could both work in-sync it would be fine, however even as a solo resetter I've had carries that weren't the best at resetting and ended up staying in the middle after the explosion for 1 or 2 seconds randomly. As a resetter if my carry is new to 5ways or just bad at resetting I will leave after the runs are over because it's really annoying having to constantly be on edge hoping they don't mess up the resetting. Whereas if it's a good carry I can reset just fine and the rythm is always the same and it's basically autopilot.
never. there's no good way to detect autohotkey type macros, since they don't interfere with the client directly and ggg (thankfully) doesnt screen all the programs running on your pc
The multiple people at the same time resetting was something that Turdtwisterx always tried to do and was probably his secret to being by far the best carry I had compared to when I tried with other people, they never tried to do it. I'm talking about the time 6+ leagues ago and he was already doing this, though I don't think anybody tried to track kills that far back.
I levelled with turdtwisterx a bit before he quit 5ways (~1 year ago). He wasn't doing double resets and I exactly remember that i was getting around 37mil exp on gems, which at that time could be converted to 7-8k kills. At this time there were people who have just learned to break 8k and 9k barriers (42m+, 48m+ exp on gems approx). This league gem exp to mob count ratio a bit changed. It is around ~70m gem per 10k kills (used to be ~54m all previous leagues)

Multi league 5 way carry here, and as most of what is said is true, some of it is NOT. It's 70% Resetting and 30% Build, and the build he showed start of video won't reach 10k. I started with that setup and lucky to reach 9.3k, then did a more expensive overhaul to break the 9.5k barrier to reach 9.8-10.5k, so yea without video showcase I call bs on that build doing 10k, plus aura must use certain auras to push u to the 10k.
Yeah as a resetter if the resetting isn't good it just feels like shit. I can tell if a carry is good or not just based on if they can reset properly or not lmao. I've seen carries stand in the middle after the explosion and not leave for 1-2 seconds which pisses me off as the resetter cause it breaks my rythm.

As someone myself following Kobe's NO HH build for 5ways, you have to stay still and spin in circles, because you use a jewel called Natural Affinity that gives you 20% more damage and 10% less damage taken when still. WTF man, its super unfair to say "everyone spinning in circles is a macro user" shame on you. Give me the 170 divines for the HH and Ill happily walk around like everyone else.

Considering I did the 2nd method (double resetter method) with a friend last league and we were getting avg 11k+ kills (recombinator gear did make things pretty crazy), I know for a fact that method works. As for the first one, while I've never done it myself, I know people who do since they run 5 ways every single league and it has nothing to do with the build or anything else than just the resetter being "perfect", which is... quite easy with a Dash macro lol
Which part do you think is incorrect? His explanation on the guys running macros is spot on. It's kinda funny, you can go to tft and tell who is abusing a script based on the advertised kills. If I see 8.5-9.2k kills, I know they're likely not using a macro. Observing the difference is like night and day, as well. 10k resetters are way too mechanical to be human.

As a dedicated resetter, this also depends if your party doesn't have a leaver and glitches the resets to where you'll need 2 resetters.

They get banned often but for RMT, not for spinning in circles.. It would be really hard to "accuse" someone of using an AHK script.

i bought carry from a guy who could get 10k+ solo, he was reseting and carrying alone

It is around ~70m gem per 10k kills (used to be ~54m all previous leagues)

If you Dash forward and then hold Shift and Dash, it will do the exact opposite of your Dash and go backwards.
Multi league 5 way carry here, and as most of what is said is true, some of it is NOT. It's 70% Resetting and 30% Build, and the build he showed start of video won't reach 10k. I started with that setup and lucky to reach 9.3k, then did a more expensive overhaul to break the 9.5k barrier to reach 9.8-10.5k, so yea without video showcase I call bs on that build doing 10k, plus aura must use certain auras to push u to the 10k.
Yeah as a resetter if the resetting isn't good it just feels like shit.
I can tell if a carry is good or not just based on if they can reset properly or not lmao.
I've seen carries stand in the middle after the explosion and not leave for 1-2 seconds which pisses me off as the resetter cause it breaks my rythm.

As someone myself following Kobe's NO HH build for 5ways, you have to stay still and spin in circles, because you use a jewel called Natural Affinity that gives you 20% more damage and 10% less damage taken when still. WTF man, its super unfair to say "everyone spinning in circles is a macro user" shame on you. Give me the 170 divines for the HH and Ill happily walk around like everyone else.
Never said everyone who spins is doing that my dude. And yes I'm well aware of natures affinity. However you can't push 10k kills without nearly perfect resetter if you're doing the spin strat, that's a fact.

Considering I did the 2nd method (double resetter method) with a friend last league and we were getting avg 11k+ kills (recombinator gear did make things pretty crazy), I know for a fact that method works. As for the first one, while I've never done it myself, I know people who do since they run 5 ways every single league and it has nothing to do with the build or anything else than just the resetter being "perfect", which is... quite easy with a Dash macro lol

Which part do you think is incorrect? His explanation on the guys running macros is spot on. It's kinda funny, you can go to tft and tell who is abusing a script based on the advertised kills. If I see 8.5-9.2k kills, I know they're likely not using a macro. Observing the difference is like night and day, as well. 10k resetters are way too mechanical to be human.

perfect resetter on budget gear no hh can do 9k. if built correctly - same budget gear with hh - does 10.3k avg.
so resetting matters but its not everything.
