Hi, George! My husband is the one who painted the winter scene on the exterior windows!!! Did you know Treasure Marts has another location just 5 minutes away from that one? It's in Eustis. They also have one in Wildwood, Hudson, Vero Beach and one other location that I can't remember.
I love videos with you and Jocelyn in them . Love the information you both bring to the table. Not much bouncing of idea's in this one. Just having fun. Wish I had been able to be there.
I was born in 1971 but I had that toy box. We were poor my grandparents were in the Antiques and it was constantly getting old toys that were very cool🎉.
Hi George, I truly enjoyed your video 👍 Thank You for your excellent video I found it very interesting and informative.the History is Amazing 🤩 I can't wait to see what else you share 😊
I can't decide if the way you identify and describe each piece is Art or Science, so I will just say it is both. Brilliant George, The Nonpareil Nomad.
I paused the video to look carefully, but initially I chose the blue piece as oldest, and after looking carefully, I still chose the blue one, and got it right!
Wild George this was a brilliant video I enjoyed saying your friends and especially everything you pointed out. I love the pink depression glass, it was absolutely fabulous.😊😊😊
How to Marry a Millionaire is absolute gold...on my top 10 movie list. An era for certain and a great cast...beautiful ending too! Wonderful post, as usual, I learned a lot and might start keeping a keener eye out for some items. I collect Buzza prints, the verses are fun and sometimes cheesy but the graphics are usually lovely and they do look good clustered. Thanks.😊
I admit that I really like the Fenton blue hobnail vases lol. They are pretty and stand out with their color. Thanks for sharing and you have a wonderful day and safe travels
And this is why I watch you! I have a “Milo Baughman” table just like the one you pointed out. I’ve had it for a year never knowing what it may be. Paid $10 at an estate sale. Now I need to see if it’s a real one. But even the knock offs seem to be worth a bit of money. Thank you!!!!!
Another good, informative shopping and looking trip, Thank you! If you please, Tlingkit is pronounced Cling-kit, Appreciate your noting Artists and works done in traditional styles❤
Glad to see you finding a good variety of items that will sell at your various shops and shows, at prices where you can make profit, and still have satisfied customers. I remember having some of these pieces as a child and teen. Seeing my life now being solidly Vintage was a bit of a shock when it first happened…of course, pieces I bought as Vintage in my day are now antique. It seems to shift every 25-30 years or so. For me, classic, high end items from the years I lived have staying power. It isn’t the fads that changed as often as people changed their underwear that hold value, where high quality goods do. Single focus collections also tend to drop in value while name/brand, and scarcity, as well as true artisanship and quality materials tend to hold their value, and increase as time is added to the equation. A big box of *Furbies* will fetch less than a classic styled Irish Round Tower Tweed women’s suit, which will command higher prices in today’s market, if properly stored and cared for. So much needs to be considered when building a collection from any given period.🖤🇨🇦
Saw some plastic at The Dollar Tree w/that Comeragh-diamond pattern on it. I kid you not. Kinda blew my mind. Anyway, I learn so, so much from U George. TY!
Another great video George. The pink depression glass was pretty. I collect the soft yellow depression glass. I have several pieces in the basket and Lorraine patterns. I think those are the names. I'm also very fond of glass handled baskets and ceramic birds. Thanks for sharing!
The hairdos and dresses ( "robe de style") on the two pink boudoir lamps date from the early to mid 20s at the latest. I would think that is a more accurate way to date them, as I doubt they would sell a decade or more later when the fashions were definitely passe. Also..I love your channel! You are a natural teacher!
While you are absolutely correct that the fashions were dated, the glass firms didn't do a lot of fired-on colors until the 1930s, and there were dresser jars with those older styles still being made as well
Good evening, George. I liked the Victorian settee set. The Victorian water set was a nice one, at a really good price. I won't be adding anymore to my collection, though. I liked the fish brooch. I used to have a large red antique scale, with a brass tray and weights. I sold it when I moved here with mom. It weighed a ton. I didn't know Royal Worcester was no longer in business. That's sad. They made really nice porcelain. I like the dome-topped trunks best...keeps them from getting cluttered. I have one that belonged to my great-grandfather. I liked the green barrel decanter. They work great for Absinthe drip. Love the brass mortar and pestle. Fun shop-along!
Hello my friend! I knew you'd enjoy some of these items, the settee set was functional compared to most and the dome-top trunk was a beauty. I haven't had a good big antique scale in ages! We lost Royal Worcester about a decade ago, a real shame, they made great stuff. Glad you had fun with this one and it's nice to see you here
@@TheAntiqueNomad Wow, I am behind times. I had no idea Royal Worcester had been gone a decade. The antique scales are really nice, and they can be used, but they take a lot of space and are super-heavy.
I was just at a church yard sale and they had a few wall pockets and I said out loud "oh cool wall pockets" the older women was shocked I knew what they were lol I said I only know because I watch George the antique nomad on TH-cam .
I think it should not be allowed to warn you only with a removable paper sticker to not use a plate for food. It is dangerous because we can see that these stickers will be peeled off or wash off when cleaning.
Hey George! This was really fun! I rem you sold the scarf from BK?! My memory 😢 anyway on ebay a few months ago! Hope you are having a good week and weekend ahead! ❤❤❤😊
I have heard you mention brass is making a come back. I have multiple brass chandeliers that I have redone including rewiring. Where is the best place to resell?
I have an absolute gorgeous what I think is a Heyes brooch by the signature mark but my eyes are so terrible even with th loupe. I paid $2 for it the other day at the SVdP II can't find anything on it. It has two thistles, and what I perceive as a comet and a love knot, it's stunning. Ive been searching daily for a week, many hours per day😂. I know that it is something special. I've done the Google thingy on it but no luck. Facebook and Reddit groups, vintage websites ect. If anyone knows I'd be so grateful.
I had that exact Eastlake Settee except mine was the original red velvet…. It came out of Port Townsend and story is it was from a Victorian Bordello… made me want it even more!!! lol my friend scored it at a Yard Sale… she said that is was one of the entire parlor set but the only piece in decent shape… I paid her $75 😉❤️
I have the baby bath in miniature, obviously not very old but cute. It's in the bathroom with two naked baby dolls surrounded by stuffed toy stuffing to mimic bubbles.

Way to go George 🎈🌟 🎈 🌟
I have a friend who painted a vent spinner orange to make a pumpkin! It looks great! She attached greenery on the top for the vine.
Fun idea!
Holy smokes! That was my toy chest. I haven’t seen one like that is probably 40+ years. Objects can be portals and time machines!
I really dig your videos! I love how you give a history of the pieces and the makers.
You never disappoint ❤
That BK scarf was super cool.
I like! We'll find a new home for it I bet
I love all your knowledge, and listening to you just tell interesting facts about anything you see. Thank you for sharing.
I always learn so much from your videos! You are a pleasure to watch.
That baby bath would make a nice kitchen sink!

I just sold a Sean Connor piece (cat face, same color) on eBay for a nice profit. Was new to me too. Found for a song at local GW here in Arkansas.
Nice!
Fantastic treasures and reasonably priced 🥰
My Mom had that funny little Metlock piece and I didn't even remember it was Metlock. Oh I'm sure my Brother took it to Goodwill.😢
I try to like mid century, I am a primitive lover myself.
I love the Bovano of Cheshire enamel pieces. I have some of his small plates and some chickadee arrangements!

I still use my 1970's Corning Ware too. That cookware is so versatile.
As a Treasure Marts vendor, thanks for coming!! I enjoyed the tour through fresh eyes :-)

Love the yellow! Don't see much Lorain or Florentine yellow
I've only seen a few of your Florida videos, but I'm surprised you haven't shown/run across any Highwaymen paintings. They're so "Florida". 😊
George. Loved the TV lamp!
People keep saying that, have to try

I thought they were good for the price
