Love your videos because I can live vicariously through you! My hubby is unwell so we don't travel these days - gives me time to learn all about antiques, glass, etc. I laughed because back in the day I used to sell Fenton glass!
Thank you for showing us the "behind the scenes" at Heidi's place. Both of you are a blessing to the reselling world on TH-cam! You empower others and share your vast knowledge so freely. I love when other resellers quote you or refer to you as their inspiration!
I loved this video George!! It was so nice that you got to look around beforehand and took us along!! Thank you for all of your information. The auction was very cool to see!! ❤
Thank you George, I really enjoyed this event. I have some beautiful pieces, that were passed down from my great grandmother's, I am 62. My daughter said, she doesn't want any of them, she is my only child...heartbreaking.
My Mom has been giving away stuff in her dining room cabinet. I always take any item that were her Mom’s and is very special in turn to my Mom as well. Recently I told my aged 16-21 nieces that Grandma says we can pick out anything we want from her cabinet. Recently they each found something that they really like. If my Mom had a story behind the item, she told it to him. It’s really sweet to whatch these young girls love a special item they love and now cherish.
George, as someone who lives in a camper several months every year I have often wondered why you don’t have a camper. Realizing then you would need a truck to pull a small camper have you considered trying to work out a deal with Chateau or another well known company to provide you with a free camper when you are at an event. You are a very popular you tuber and if you just showed the camper as part of the video, it will definitely spark interest in the camper. And besides not having to stay in a motel and drive to the event, you are already there!
The market and vendors were fun to see… but that back room storage and storage barn were just filled with more and more treasures to be offered! So many treasures!!!
Oh my goodness wild George, that was really a great video I enjoyed it so much there was so much to see so much things to do, you had a great time.😊😊😊😊😊
Thanks for showing the Conova transferware platter, that period and prior is my collecting area. I don't see many content providers paying attention to items from that era. Regardless of what you show your videos are head and shoulders above those inane Good Will shopping trips one usually sees.
This is a fabulous video. Heidi is a great auctioneer. Looks like a good turnout, especially with it only being the 2nd TiqueStock. I can see this becoming much larger. Mahalo for the great video George. You're amazing!
Love all the ruffled glass. WOW I am amazed that so much of it has survived through out the years and so beautiful. Happy digging safe travels and have a wonderful day
Hello thanks for a very informative video. I love Fenton glass and I learned a few new things today. Walking around the sale was amazing and the prices were very good. Peace Love Happiness
Ok.. Heidi is now so high up on my regards scale I need to pay homage to her! She has mastered the fine art of auctioneer 🫨 I loved this video George. You covered it all !!
Good evening, George! There were so many interesting items there! I think my favourite thing was the Royal Dux fish that sold at auction. I would've had to been after that one. That's a show I'd really enjoy browsing. Fun premier!
Thank you! It's been so busy, but I got your book set aside and will be in touch. I think you would have found some items of interest...and I suspect there's more that hasn't come to light!
I collected Cambridge Crown Tuscan when I first started as an antique dealer! So that I could learn about items I would pick a page out of the Kovel's Catalog and study the items!
The past issues of Kovels, Warman's and (especially) the Millers guides, with their thousands of color photos and detailed information and educational info are worth their weight in gold! I've learned so much from these "old, outdated books."
Awesome video George ! It's great for us viewers to see how these auctions work. To me it makes them seem a lot less threatening or scary 😮. Thank you for taking me on a new journey. Kelly in Pembroke Pines, FL.
Oh my gosh George! I'm a big follower of Heidi's sales and I could not believe you stumbled up on a elks lodge carnival plate! As a early carnival collector I could not believe you stumble on that plate for only $8! Absolutely a rare piece in carnival collectors standards and these pieces regularly bring 600 to 800 and sometimes higher at our collector conventions such as woth Sheffield Auctions in Kentucky and at the TBCGA ICGA conventions! I hope to make it to the fest next year!
Awe shucks!!! I live in Michigan and I surely would have attended the auction and flea market had i known you were going to be there. I so hope there will be a next time!!!
Was nice to see some postcards in the video =] my main seller. I don't do too many of the comic ones unless they're extra unique.. don't move too much for me. The Leap Year one was interesting though!
I love you, guy! Do you have any how amazing you are? I've watched your videos forever and always learn something new!! I need to be your apprentice and just follow you around! ❤ Thank you for sharing, much love from Montana!!
Hi there, Been watching you and learning a bit about your craft for some time. Your presentation and editing is very well done. Apropos of nothing, I'm from Bremerton originally. You have mentioned you were from near Paulsbo. Best Scandinavian bakery ever. The Almond bark was fabulous. We used to tease our great grandmother that we were going to put her in the Mary and Martha. Of course we did no such thing, although I understand it was a lovely place. Some days I miss the mountains and the water. Ah well.
Oh I really wish I would have known about this sooner I live in Ohio and probably could have come. I know Springfield's coming up, so maybe I'll see you there George❤
I absolutely love your shows!! Makes me want to go to some of those events like you attend.. Did you pick up the Redwing piece? How do you think I might find events like this in TN? Thanks for the content and keep on keeping on..
George-Fans, lets email a friend his video. Good way to thank George, I think. On to 60K 🎉

I'm so glad you feel that way! I don't know how else to be
@TheAntiqueNomad that's the thing right?
@@TheAntiqueNomad I know I'm a bit Namby pamby, but I figure it doesn't hurt because most people can use some positive reinforcement.
