It looked like it could have been a fluke though so it's hard to say if Glamour actually knows how to use the buttons. I personally believe they are smarter than they are letting on.
My work life is very difficult. I have 5 cays and they are really good at communicating without buttons. They interrupt me all the time to let me know what they want. They develop a language with their humans if the humans pay attention to their cues.

He used to tear things up and eat them before he realised that he could flush them down the toilet but that's another story. Anyway, he literally ate my homework that night 😹 Thankfully my teachers knew of my brother and I got an extension and a reminder to never leave paper I needed near my brother 😹

I guess this one of consequences of teaching a cat to talk. That cuddle session was lacking its usual enthusiasm, and when you rolled him on to the floor and said cuddles. Todd looked stunned. Poor Todd didn’t know a thing about computers but he does now.

My fuzzy critter does the same, he demands attention and usually close to bed time or when he's getting tired he wants to cuddle on me and then will jump down and go to take a nap, or will demand I should be going to bed lol. Its very difficult for me to stay up past usual hours as he just does not allow it. Mines called Tyrant, and he got that name as he was just as demanding as a kitten.

Question for you, Dad. I watched when you introduced Todd to 2 new buttons: Work and Home. In this context, Work was when Dad was gone from the house but would later return Home. But in other videos when Todd asks for various responses from Dad, sometimes Dad answers from his desk: Dad working, brush later… Does Todd get confused over the 2 meanings of Work away from Home and Work from Desk?
I believe he understands the difference. I have always told him Dad is working when he has to wait for what he wants. When using the button for leaving, I add the Dad go Bye Work.

This is a good question. Todd has probably worked it out that "work" basically means "busy", and that can happen at home or away from home.
