I think Todd must hve thought the crazy hamster was attacking poor Glamour! Maybe someday you can show us a video of Todd playing jingle ball downstairs, would hate to never see his walk back to Dad, such pride he has. I got the speak up buttons and really love them. Even though we haven't started training yet, very busy with a project, I set them out for my cats to get use to. They have chosen two of the four buttons they are pushing and seem to know what the results will be. And when I saw pushing it's more like rolling on them to activate them. I hope when I can work with them I can get them to use their paws.

I haven't read through the comments, but I'm thinking that it's a good sign that Todd made the overture of bathing Paulie. Even though Paulie quickly resisted, he did stay still long enough for a couple licks, and that's a really good sign. You've been patiently helping them become friends, and if will happen! The question is: Will it happen on camera?

Interesting button info. Also, my wife and I love our Wyze system, and once you have your workflow setup, grabbing the footage you want will feel easy. If this comment gets duplicated, it's because I'm dumb and typed half of it on mobile before redoing it on pc lol
What is the workflow? Is that an app? The issue I have now, unless you know an easier way, it to get the videos I have to goto the camera and time them hit record and let it play out until I get what I want. If I need 15 minutes of video and I have 4 cameras that's an hour sitting there grabbing video. With the Nest I highlight the start time and stop time for the 15 minutes and tell it to down load the clip. The hour I spend with the Wyze I can do in about 7 minutes with the Nest. Again, if you know an easier way I would appreciate any tips you have for it.
@@TheChroniclesofToddToddTalks It is significantly easier than that with the Wyze app. You can do event recording, extended recordings, full downloads of a day, take pictures, take clips out of any part of the feed. The Wyze app is pretty complete.

This is endlessly fascinating🤩 I only found your channel last night and have been binge-watching. Can't stop smiling. My rental doesn't allow pets, so I have a huge hole in my heart that cats used to fill😔 Love y'all, and thank you🥰
Maybe they would play the hamster toy in another area of the house. If you brought it out on the hardwood floor, and the cats were not so close together. Since they had that experience, they might always be wary and hang back, but that doesn't mean they won't watch you play with it. It could still sort of be an entertaining thing for them. You could play music they like and do it for a song. But they would probably like it better if they were on the furniture and could look down on you going here and there.
I'm not sure if that was play mode or not but I think Todd stopped because he used to chase Paulie away and I got him to stop and now try to be friends. He probably didn't chase because I have told him that was not a nice kitty to do that.
I'm not sure if Todd would like it but, there's a little battery operated hamster that comes in a ball and rolls around and when hits an object it changes direction. I found it on amazon for only $9.99, my crew really likes it. The nice thing about it is since it's in a ball it can't get stuck in anyone's fur.
Very interested to see if changing the "Mom" button confuses Todd. If it is in the same place, but looks different (different symbol on it), it will be a kind "test" to see how much the symbol means, or if he's mostly going by location to identify which button to use. (Too bad you can't just use the same recording, but hopefully it will be very similar sounding.)
It should not. The old buttons and the new look the same, and it is in the same spot. The difference is the old buttons have the speaker on the bottom, so it is talking down into the mat and carpet, and the new buttons are a little louder, but the project out the top on the button.

It is 4 things. It has to be the right colors, the rights size, the right lattice pattern, and a 4 tine metal jingle.
