I’m sure you saved a lot of money sourcing your own stuff and building them. I see some companies charging over 700.00 and they don’t even have the Johnny joints they just have a bushing and Heim setup. Where did you get your joints from? I’m looking into my options now.
We saved quite a bit going with our own parts and I feel like we got bigger stronger parts this way too, I dont remember exactly where I got the ends but if you want to dm me on Instagram I can figure it out later and let you know, we cut out our own axle tabs and all
Cargill450 Yeah I’m going the same route. I’m not paying 7-900 for someone to put parts in a box. I’ve found Johnny joints at several places I even found Amazon has Currie Johnny joints. I work in the steel industry in NW Indiana so so the steel for the brackets is easy come around here. A couple of calls I should be able to get .250 DOM also. Sorry I don’t have Intstagram, FB , etc. YT is as social as I get online LOL.
The heims are 1 1/4 with 3/4 misalignment spacers and the Johnny joints are ruff stuff 18mm heims because those are the biggest ones we had found. We drilled the Johnny out to 3/4 so we could use the same 3/4 bolts all around but you don't have to do that, you could just run 3/4 bolts on the heims and the 18mm bolts on the Johnny. We used 2 inch O.D. 1/4 wall DOM tubing also to give it alot more strength

@@deegan727 yea i hear you there, we basically did the same thing with our ends, we used trail gear creeper joints and mid grade heims
Where are the exact heim joint specs and Johnny joint specs?
