Thedeus didn't kill allen. Allen has a power that regenerates him and makes him stronger when he is about to die. He is basically like Deadpool but you really have to crush every bit of him to actually kill him. That's why Allen is my favorite alien in invincible
The viltumites using "heir" could also mean that they see themselves as above other races entirely, to the point where even a half viltrumite is seen as higher than them. They are conquerers after all.
I've seen a good chunk of the comics and I gotta say I'm pretty darn surprised yet happy were getting omni man's return sooner than expected. If you haven't seen the comics I'm not gonna spoil anything but this is the point in the story where things just keep getting better for the audience, but not for the characters 😅
I have not seen the comics, I am aware of a couple spoilers however, and was aware Omni-Man was going to make a return eventually, but I feel like having his return be so soon in the series (I’m aware timeline wise, it’s been a couple months if not nearly a year?) feels weird, I personally would have liked if he had made his return either at the end of this season, or the beginning or end of season 3, hell maybe even season 4, I’ll likely change my mind due to events that unfold, but that how I feel right now, in the moment. I knew the moment Mark left for space that something was up, especially because the tharaxans seemed familiar.
Seems to be a running theme for the show so I'm prepping for sadness 😅
This comment confirms my thoughts about Nolan coming in too early. I was hoping we could see what Eve or the Mauder brothers were doing first before the dad came back. Oh well.

I don't think Allen's girl is the double crosser I think Thaedus turning of Allen's life support proves that he is the mole you know the classic it is the leader of the resistance so they can't do as much.
Allen looking back was probably you know looking back at the one he loves before the end and notice how he was not attacked until just the moment before he said anything about a mole literally just one more work and he would have said traitor or mole.

The great purge I don't believe was between two factions but rather them just deciding to cut their population in half to be stronger.

Mark already has been able to match Thula who is one of the strongest Viltrumites. Had he not hesitated he would have defeated her.
To be fair, the show has changed quite a few details here and there from the comics. It's been interesting seeing what's stayed the same and what hasn't.
People who have read the comics will get a ton out of this. You'll be either scarily prescient or hilariously wrong.
