The breathing exercise at the beginning has been helping me the last two weeks. I do it every time I start feeling the pain in my back which I know is a result of the the acid reflux which affects the nerves in this area of the body.
I have had this problem for three months (totally out of the blue). At first I did not dare to eat anything and was scared of my own reactions to food, any food. But then after researching and changing a few habits, I started feeling a little better.
I am listing below what helped me and made it less frequent and less painful: I take two HCL pills before meals. I take a tbs of ACV with lemon juice with water first thing in the morning. I finish my last meal before 5pm so it gives my digestion a long time to finish before I go to sleep, I practice good food combination and avoid eating carbs and proteins at the same meal, I avoid alcohol, coffee, black tea and chocolate as they triggered terrible reflux for me, I had to teach myself to eat very slowly and chew my food a lot, and above all I avoid stressful situations whenever I can.
I breathe deeply often to relax and it helps with the stress.
The above is not new information. It is only a list of what worked for me and I posted it in case someone can benefit from any part of it.
Edited three months later: I have been eating mostly cooked fermented grains, fermented cabbage, sourdough breads or fermented breads and of course the usual 5 servings of veggies and about 50 gr proteins foods a day. I avoid fruits... I eat very slowly.
I still have symptoms of acid reflux now and then but I am much better. I am still clueless what happened to my digestion. I learnt to treat my digestive system more "respectfully".
Edited eight months later: I tried many things to heal the reflux and all of the above worked. I just had a serious breakthrough in well being that I want to share. In the replies, someone (lesleyhadrill) advised me to stop grains. I did investigate in that direction, found out eating no wheat was improving my health, whether the wheat was organic or not, then decided to avoid gluten in any form, and now I am wondering and researching if I am not allergic to glyphosates whenever I eat wheat that is not organic. I will update in a few months. Definitely try to avoid eating anything containing wheat, rye, barley.
Not sure yet if when I ate and reacted to breads I was allergic to the wheat, the gluten or the glyphosates (which are used to dry the grain before harvesting).

@@lesleyhadrill3207 Thank you for the tip on celery juice. I did not know.

Wow this really worked for me straight away. I was non stop vomiting due to my gastritis causing my chest/sternum to get so tight. I can’t breathe due to the straining, making me vomit even more and causing a horrible 2 hour vomiting session 🤦🏽‍♀️. This worked instantly not only for the tight chest pain but also my nausea and I have never been so grateful. 🙏🏽

I've struggled with gerds since I was a baby. Im terrified if getting actual heartburn because the ones I get take me to my knees and make me cry. I noticed with massaging through the ribcage that I belched quite a bit. That's normal for me with my gerds. The start feeling of a heartburn subsided, but I still feel the stomach acid in my throat. Overall, god bless you! I liked and followed!

I find the breathing exercises to be very helpful. I never had heartburn issues in my life until I had surgery to repair a hiatal hernia a few years ago. Now I get heart burn/discomfort in my esophagus all the time. These exercises loosen up my diaphragm and definitely lessen my discomfort significantly.

Hello! I've just started doing these exercises and I think they're great. I've been suffering from anxiety and GERD for almost 3 months now and so the acids are pretty bad. I've also been experiencing shortness of breath and I've only been sleeping 2-4 hours a day because of it. Will these exercises help me in the long run? Thank you so much for the video. Hope you have a good day.

To neutralize or get rid of acid reflux, eat red apples. Members of my family and friends used red apples to get rid of acid reflux. The problem never came back. Try it for a couple of days.

@@venkilfc Hello! I used to experience nausea in the morning but I think my GERD is gone basically. I had to go to the doctor and take medication for it to go away though. Been feeling a lot better nowadays but I'm still experiencing shortness of breath almost everyday. The doctor said it's because of my anxiety but I'm also taking meds for that too.

@@celineludena many thanks for your reply. I'm glad to hear that you have been cured. I've been suffering from early morning nausea for a month now. I can feel the acid reflux stuck down my throat and it takes time to overcome that feeling. It goes away in due course of the day but the mornings are terrible. The doctor prescribed me Pantoprazol. While it helps controlling the acid, the morning nausea still persists. I guess this problem of mine got triggered due to anxiety and irregular food-intake timings. I've changed my habits totally but I don't know how to get rid of this feeling in the morning.

      Hi Siddhesh! 🙂
Thanks for getting in touch! These exercises could certainly help with your stomach tightness as they release any built up tension in your frontal body structures that become more and more strained due to our sedentary routine and one-sided movement. 💪 For more detailed information on how this suffering is caused and how doing our exercises regularly can help soothe your pain in a natural and non-invasive way, please check out this article. 👉 lie-br.com/yt-cm3-epheartburn Give these exercises a try, practise every day and let us know how you feel.
