At 1:10 in the time frame I do not get the option of who I am sending it too it just skips to send payment page and I cannot avoid the fee. I found it, clicked sending to a friend (Mom) and it does not up date and eliminate the fee.

You forgot one thing. If you use a bank account it might be free but if you use a credit card they will charge you a fee

I live in the US but everytime I send a payment to my friend in Croatia I get charged a fee and I'm using the family/friend option.
You will be charged if your friend does an online job and receives too much money from different people. Paypal's algorithm will assume your friend is in business. I think so.
@@nguyen9058 Ok, it's actually a donation. People will send different amounts depending on what they want to donate, it's not like your buying a service but like you said, PayPal might recognize it as a payment. Thank you for the reply.

@@richardroda4882 Apparently it cannot be done! And it turned out the person was attempting to scam me out of money. Hope this helps you out too but the scamming part was just my own situation I went through!
It's because you have to send the money not pay the request to do it family and friends.
You cant pay an invoice with F&F, because 'family' doesnt send invoices, only businesses do.
PAYPAL is so confusing to non technologically folks. Seems like something is always changing!
You still pay a fee to PayPal using this method. Since PayPal has no way to recover your funds if you want to dispute a charge this way, you should never use this option!
There's no "Friends and Family" option while sending at Paypal
When I chose "send to trusted person" it goes like "Personal" payment but not as Sending to a friend (as this video shows)

sadly there is fees if sending to s friend.
It doesn't work. You'll will only get away from this if you send via paypal balance or checking account. If you are sending via credit or debit card, you get hit with the fee.

I just tried requesting option USD01 the craziest part is after I received the money PayPal Cut 1 USD as their fees and I ended up with 0 balance. This is crazy when you received a payment PayPal gets 100% of that amount as fees.

Wrong! It's free with a bank account, but it charges sender a 2.99% fee using a credit card.
