So, if I’m selling something say through Facebook or Reddit, and they would like to use just PayPal (not eBay, Mercari, etc..) for this, what do I do as a seller? How is shipping determined and paid for? Do I have to request the money or? I see it’s a very common thing but I don’t understand how it works no matter what I try 😭

Question: there is an item on Ebay, the seller said He take $150.00 off, if I deal with Him via PayPal using Goods and services. Is this a good idea ??

Yes. In your case he is just trying to skip the ebay fees. Ebay takes a percentage of sales, which means the seller doesn’t actually get the total that you are paying.

Hey I’ve accidentally chosen the goods and services option instead of family friends. The seller states that the money wouldn’t be sent to her since it is a private Selling for some reason. And she can’t issue a refund for me because her account is limited. Where did my money actually go then. Is this a scam?
