    I almost wonder if PGI should create some kind of equippable item you can use to mitigate Jams a little bit since many mechs that run weapons capable of Jamming tend to suffer a lot more from having bad luck, especially during combat.
    Having an item similar to a Coolshot, but for clearing Jams quickly, where when you jam it'll still stay jammed for a time like normal unless you use the item, in which case it'll skip the jam and start cooling down normally (with the item itself also of course having a cooldown to avoid abuse) so that you can actively mitigate Jams a few times a match (say 2-3 uses per "Jam Clearer" Item) would potentially allow players to run these weapons more often, without feeling like they're completely at the mercy of RNG on if the weapon jams or not.
    Obviously, I'm just some rando who merely dabbles in Mechwarrior a little, versus a much more experienced and well-versed Mechwarrior player like you are TTB, so you'd probably be able to make a better call on something like this than I, but the fact that Jams are one of the only mechanics that don't have a method to actively mitigate their drawback (only having a passive method of slightly decreasing your bad luck) kind of stands out (since you can use Artemis or TAG or NARC's to improve your missiles, Coolshots for Heat, etc.) as a bit of an issue that could really use an answer in my opinion.

      It’d be a giant buff to UACs, as they become a lot more reliable, so you’d have to balance around it.

    Gauss rifles actually do have HSL, they incur ghost heat at 7+ (this’d be relevant for example if you could stack more than 4 ppcs with them).
    also keep in mind gauss hsl scales worse than is erppc hsl, so on is side, 1gauss 2erppc has worse ghost heat than 3erppc
    and of course all LBX do NOT have ghost heat at all.

    Honestly I had no idea c-LBX20 made ghost heat, I've run them in my Scorch forever

      I was wrong on that one. No ghost heat on LBXs.

      Scorch is always hot. I think the best I can ever get is 3 alphas without coolshot and then I have to sustain with just the LB20s. I really wish it had some Heat Gen quirks. You get a lot more output with 2 MRM40s on an IS mech.

    You forgot to mention - in MWO shooting a distant UAV with these became somewhat tricky ...nearly useless.

    I have a possibly dumb question. I've played MWO for a long time, but I have never figured out what the critical chance bonuses on the targeting comp 1 actually mean. Why are they listed in three values?

      1x crit, 2x crit, 3x crit chance

      @@TTBprime I still don't get it ...you mean different critical damage multipliers or amount of critical hits in a row?
      ...rather, I would like to know basic crit chance of all the samples without targeting computers (if they exist).

    If a mech got +1 HSL does it mean it limits to 2 weapons at once? Like +2 HSL will be 3 weapons at once right?

    I get soooo tired of the nerfs....It's getting to the point where there is really no need to change the loadout on any Mech. They have basically nerfed to the point that all mechs will do the same amount of damage no matter how you configure them.
