The country of Georgia: Are we a joke to you
Oh I know that one: Is country in Europe!
@@jakobnuernberger94 so close yet so far
@@jakobnuernberger94 its in asia sorry
@@feetuber9162 Debatable. Go to Georgia and ask people, wether they are in Europe or Asia and most will tell you, they are in Europe. Politically and culturally they lean to the west rather than the east.
And geographically: yes, most of the country lies on the opposite side of the Caucasus Mountains, which are considered to be the border between Europe and Asia, making them part of the latter. But then again: Is Russia in Europe or Asia? Most of Russia lies in Asia but is widely considered part of both, so why not consider Georgia part of both.
@Jakob Nuernberger actually they live on both continents Asia and Europe

2:55 "oH SpeKinG of tortoise" *shows sea turtles*
Is this a joke or you actually don’t know that a tortoise is similar to a sea turtle
@@Akhimed I have no idea what you said but from what I’ve picked up, you think that tortoises and turtles are the same. In British English they are both shelled reptiles, tortoises live mostly on land and would die if they were moist for too long and turtles would dry up if they were out of the sea for too long. This comment only points out an honest mistake by Drew. Please think about what you are going to say before sending a message. Thank you 😊

The actual statue of liberty in new York was made in France and given as a gift to the USA. And thats why there is a scale replica in paris.
Literally everyone knows.
In France we have two liberty statues, the model was made by Auguste Bartholdi so there is one in his hometown (Colmar) which was made in 2004 for the centenary of his death. The one in Paris is a model used to create the one in New York! Fun fact, the bones inside were made by Mr. Eiffel

Fun fact: the phrase “Hearts of Iron” refers to Franz Stigler and his crew, and their decision to ignore direct orders to shoot the American bomber down.
That's wrong the phrase Hearts of iron refers a germans who disobeyed direct orders at the battle of berlin to allow troops and civilians to be captured by the west instead of falling into soviet hands where they would of been treated much harsher
Edit:generals name was Walther Wenck
10:35 There's actually a song about that called "no bullets fly" by Sabaton, with an animated video explaining what happened. They make music about history, it's really cool. I'm curious, would you react to something like that?
The statue of Liberty was actually built in Paris, France between 1881 and 1884. The pedestal for it was built in the United States that same year. It arrived to the pedestal in 1885, where it has been a star of the New York skyline since.
Both the big and small Statue of Liberty were made at the same time with the same copper!
Drew needs to react to the Charlie Brown and Franz Stigler story it’d blow his mind
I didn't know Drew acting out a drive by was what my life needed.
10:35 Fun Fact: This became a Sabaton song called "no bullets fly", and years later, the grandson of Franz Stingler (the german that saved the crew), met with the band because he was a metalhead and listened to this song. There is a picture of them

15:32 Yes Drew, we have waterfalls. We got St. Anthony's, The Devil's Kettle, and Gooseberry Falls to name a few. We also have over 14,000 lakes, and I live where most of them are. Minnesota is a very beautiful state.
The fish scale one the dude will get it peeled off eventually. The fish skin mainly tilapia heals burns very good. After a set of time the doctors will replace the fish skin with newer fish skin. After that they'll take it off and the burn marks will be minimal but not completely gone.
Ps. This is what I believe and might not be totally accurate
As someone from northern michigan. 4:15 yes, that is a regular thing, the straights of mackinaw (where the picture was taken) have that happen pretty frequently, and walking around on then is like visiting another world it's such a weird but cool massive ice formation
I love how the german pilot who saved the us pilot in the picture is holding a model plane
14:10 Many light houses are designed to only be visible from a narrow angle, then you know when you're inside it's cone more easily, which can be useful for navigation.

Sahara sand dust storms aren't that uncommon anymore, it happens at least twice a year now. Such things happen under certain weather circumstances. And yes, the sand also falls in places where it snows, like Austria.
The mountains in Guilan are examples of Karsts. Basically the areas around mountains were dissolved over time leaving behind the tower-like mountains.

10:42 Sabaton made a sing about that, it is called "no bullets fly"
For the last time Frankenstein is the doctor not the monster
But the doctor a monster too.
@@Zodroo_Tint they were both different kinds of monsters
Quick clarifacation at 15:05 Owen Baggett was not the only man, or the first to down a plane with a handgun.
In 1914, during the Japanese Invasion of German Tsingtao, Gunther Plueschow downed a Japanese bomber with his luger sidearm. Becoming the first man to win an air-to-air victory, as well as doing it with a handgun.
@6:50 @drew drunil areas like this are typically formed by first anturally eroding and later getting flooded. The rocks and small mountains actually go much deeper, but softer ground was brought in by water or possible even heavy winds and cover them to a certian level.
The rock is limestone we have a smilliar area in Ireland called the burren
@@TGouse1 So do we in parts of eastern germany, but they don't arise from the same even ground as they are higher up in more rocky regions over all, while that part of china used to be a massive flood area

Forest noise amplifier. Wow. What a nice thing to have.
6:10 I think that this replica is the one near Grenelle's Bridge which was built in tribute of Auguste Bartholdi the creator of the Staue of Liberty, so it was built near the place of his workshop.
Those weird hills are just the result karst topograpy and limestone's desire to be unique, eroding fast if there's any water or wind at all, leaving behind rock that's full of less insecurities. Pretty common over the world but China is known for it.
