Yeah, most associations people make are irrational. Some are because of trauma or something like that, but people need to think about the context and when it was a thing.
I was touched by a sixteen year old guy when I was only nine (had red flags before I even followed him, but I couldn't say no. was too scared to hurt anyone's feelings), and when I started 4th grade (second year in the new school), we got a new assistant/trainee, and he happened to have the same first name as this other guy. First I was just "ugh, why the same name??" but since I like the name and already knew there will be people and stuff with same or similar names, I just rolled with it and it worked. I mean, I'm autistic so my mind constantly reminds me of a lot of things anyways so I was already used to it.
People take associations way too far though. Way too much generalizing for our own sanity. Imagine people flipping their shit because you just happen to have the same or similar first and/or lastname as a horrible person and then assume you're the same as them. If we already know everyone are different despite being related with some minor similarities because genes, why do we keep telling ourselves that this or that is the same? It's so stupid. It has ruined lives many times over.

The Königsstuhl is a specific Kreidefelsen or "chalk-rock" on the Island of Rügen in Germany near Sassnitz (a really beautiful small town). In the middle ages people who climbed it got to be King of Rügen.
