I’m from Britain and you asked what we think of George Washington. We did a whole 2/3 of a year at school on colonisation and didn’t mention the revolution once. I think we’re still holding a grudge.

I live in Warsaw, and yes, tourists sometimes freak out on August the 1st. But the thing is everything stops, not just people walking, the whole traffic stops. Drivers honk the horns in their cars. It must be strange experience if you don't know what is going on. I once saw a guy so weird out by it, he run away. I am still curious what he must have thought in that moment

Honestly the only problem I have with the US War for independence is that you didn't call it George vs George (as in the English King and Mr. Washington).

Yes, Warsaw still honours the Warsaw Uprising by stopping for one minute. It happens every year 1st August at 5pm ( it's the almost extact time the Uprising started in 1944) it later got discovered that in some districts it started at something like 4.48pm but remembering 5pm is easier.

This is rare because the depth in the sea in which they live in is at least 2000 meters below sea level. This is also why they have the light on the little horn because light like that is blinding, even majestic at such depths due to it being pitch black there at all times. You can even see the white biolumenscent glands at the end of the anglerfishes horn.

Hi Drew, NAUI Master SCUBA Diver here. Yes we eat all the time down there. One of my fav safety stop snacks is a banana @15'. It's pretty salty and you have to trade bites with you know breathing, but it actually really helps with the more exhausting dives.
