I can understand him spending $1,500 if Conrad was there. He probably ate three pizzas by himself.
The food at Piesanos is $10-to-$30 (the latter only for their 20'' pizzas), so it would be impossible to spend $1,500 on just food. He would need to set up temporary camp at the bar or with their alcohol/wine list. Because $1,500 only makes sense if Ric was throwing back multiple bottles of wine.

I've personally witnessed Ric drinking just about everything alcoholic you can imagine (from beer, to various shots I never even heard of before), as people were just handing it all to him at an after party I was at. He didn't hesitate once to down it the moment it was handed to him, and he was eventually dragged out because he couldn't walk IoI. Kamikazes may be his favorite, but I can confirm he ain't always picky.

One of the sadder aspects is it's portrayed like Flair was there with relatives but in reality, it wasn't his daughters' family nor his son's. It was his "wife" Wendy, who had a daughter graduating so none of those people are related to him by blood. Still, he must've embarrassed them. Flair truly has never been the same after what happened to Reid, who he clearly was hoping would follow in his footsteps but instead turned into a serious drug addict that died in his arms. He was in denial of his son's substance issues right up to the end, much like he is to the fact his own career has become a sad parody and his personal life an alcohol-drenched mess too. He even acted like a total drunken downer at a Kill Tony show a few months back. He's truly lost the plot.

While I agree with what you say, I would say that his alcohol addiction would have taken it's toll on him and his reputation even if Reid had lived. Ric has been a hard drinker since his early years and I sincerely doubt that much would've gone differently on this side of his public antics.

Ric is just a damn drunk who hasn't learned a thing since his health incident a few years ago and was told to quit drinking. He had what, two heart attacks in that last match and now makes an ass out of himself. And he was up there for Wendy's daughter's graduation. I'm not sure what that situation is with him and Wendy but I'm sure that's not the best. He's a 75 year old alcoholic.

Rick flairs liver needs to be studied
My mother is turning 60 this year. She's been an alcoholic since she was 20, gradually increasing in severity. Most of my life it's been 3-5 blackouts a week, 1 liter of vodka a day minimum, etc. She had a health scare (turned out to just be massive anxiety) and told the doctors how much of an alcoholic she was and after they ran their tests and checked out her organ health they said she was lying. That she couldn't have drank that much for so long and had no issues. Her internals weren't just in great shape for a 60 year old alcoholic, they were in great shape PERIOD. They said her liver was and kidneys were superhuman. Some people are just able to take it.
Winston Churchill drank 5-6 scotch and sodas, 2 imperial pints of champagne, a couple of glasses of brandy and smoked 8-10 cigars PER DAY and lived until he was 90.
Looks like a fully stocked minibar.
Alcohol is one hell of a drug.
