I have done customer service for years and never have I transfered a customer to a senior or manager, since they have other stuff to do. Im was being payed to do the calling, not them. Also, I was usually in the right so in the rare case I got a complaint on my name, I usually get a pat on the back for doing my job correctly when they reviewed how I handled the situation. That's how it's supposed to go.
Customer is always right... in matter of taste, whoever cut the quote to justify treating people like shiit... deserves a fked up kind of Oscar... 97% of the people I know haven't heard the original quote
