I work at a company who did this same exact thing to a senior who had been relieving as supervisor for more than 12 months. The supervisor position had been vacant for more than 12 months. When they finally posted the position and she applied for it ....they responded to say that although she displayed knowledge in the area they choose someone who was better qualified and that suits the role. Then when the new girl started working in the position the management team had the audacity to ask her to train the new supervisor. Lol...she was livid. Its like a slap in the face....if the person is not QUALIFIED for the job, why ask them to train the replacement. That's disrespectful .... I for one would never do that. I had a similiar thing happen to me where someone got full-time over me who had been working part time for years working like an octopus with the company.... I did not help her one bit....not my job to do that. Cant force me to either. Right now she's the most clueless And less productive worker....makes alot of errors. I finally transferred to another branch and got a full-time post immediately.

THIS I was called into an office with three managers who told me that I said something to somebody and would not tell me what I said or did. I told them that I didn't know that I did anything wrong if they wouldn't tell me what it was and I was leaving that meeting if they had nothing elses. Turns out it was some jerk that caught me on the way out the door leaving for the day (i had already logged out of my computer) who asked me to input some data entry. I told her I was already logged out for the day and I'd be happy to do it first thing in the morning. She never told me if it was an emergency ( and I would have logged back in if shed given any indication). She couldhave entered the info herself but felt she was above it and instead expected me to do it. So she tried to get me in trouble

The only way this works out is if your work is seasonal, so you're doing 60 hours in crunch a couple months a year, and the rest of the year you're coasting and leaving early. Or have extra compensation like stock grants and bonuses.

Exactly what happened to me. Director emailed me saying i wasnt doing my. job (ER checkins). Accused me of refusing to check someone in. Mind you she was 9-5 and i was 730p 730a. I was the only person on the email not even my team lead knew about this email. Tried for 3 days to talk to her, she avoided me. She was off on friday through sunday so Thursday night i email a professional quit email. Had my team lead, her boss and HR copied with the email she sent. Left my badge in my locker and walked out never to return. Found out a month later she was fired because she also violated ADA when i told her of my PTSD and couldnt do 6 days in 7 with 1 day off in the high stress area. (I could do the job as 3 on 2 off 2 on 1 off. The days off help me reset. Stand up for yourself and call them out because any job its them or you.

My second job was part time cleaning restaurants on weekends to cover my rent , full time was shit pay working for an apartment complex , they never bought vacuum cleaners for the hallways, instead I found backless vacs in the trash , fixed by clearing the hose
