Lots of people deserve this kind of customer service. Many times people are rude and nasty towards Customer Service personnel. Lots of tantrum, lots of entitlement attitude.
And a lot of people have valid complaints too. Imagine if your new $4,000 TV screwed up three weeks after you bought it would you want this bitch to be the one you have to talk to?
I’m about to turn 35 and have been working in customer service since I was 16. I started off very shy and a people pleaser but now I’m sounding more and more like Veronica. I’ve learned that if hostile/ rude/ demanding people are talked to sternly/ factually, 98% of the the time they immediately back down.
The best comeback I ever heard as a manager in a call centre was said by a customer service representative after the customer threatened to come beat his a$$. He replied,"I'm sorry sir, you have it backwards. I'M the one with YOUR address."
Gods this is gold. I wish I was this calm, cool, and collective during a talk with a hateful customer. For me, when things get heated my brain just goes blank and I stand there looking like an idiot.
I have been asking for this option for YEARS.... we need about 10min per hour to say what we want... YASSSSS Veronika.. YASSSS.. I also hate that they give the last 4 numbers.. helps ZERO DOLLARS.. annoying
This is like me telling the next person in line at a UScan, which i have 4 registers & customers i am working with, that there is an ooen register for them BUT they are actively not paying attention. They are talking on the phone, playing a game on the phone, talking with each other anything but psying attention. Then they wonder why i cant talk any more or cough or run to get get a drink of water. No i look in their direction and let them know a register is open once. But of course some people cant hear or hear well abd thats when i go over to talk to them. But if youre in a hurry pay attention.. .please. I lose my voice😂
I am very respectful to customer service because they are just doing their job. I dont like when they apologize when there is a problem. I always say, you dont have to apologize it wasnt your fault. I always get help when i need it , because i call for help. They help me.
I want to know why I hear chickens in the background when I call customer service...🤣. Ps, I love every one of these shorts and made my own playlist to laugh on them daily and share with friends and family.
My mother is a wonderful person but she gets into it, with customer service, because she won’t stand up to my dad. This is also why I’ve dealt with her wrath, many times. She wants to tell them long ass stories and engage them in arguments, so bad. It’s insane.
I laugh, because ITS TRUE. OMG how I had hated call center. Apologize for something you had no control over, make yourself the target for their outrage. How I did hate being in a call center.
I’m actually with the customer on this one. If I have an account with you, you have the entire number on file (that’s how you charge me), so just confirming the first or last four digits should suffice to confirm my identity
I couldn't do this job... I have to work around a dozen disabilities just to make a phone call I can understand on my end. It drives me up the wall when my mom is talking and the town decides her street is the best for drag racing... I just... I couldn't do it. Props to those who can.

This is hilarious, but i do just have to say i worked at a call center where we asked for just the last 4 digits to confirm access to an account. Of course if it was a brand new account or they wanted to change the payment info, then obviously yeah, we need the full thing. Still love the skit though! As always, brilliant writing and delivery!
