ATF logic: form 1 suppressor is a supressor you manufacture at home. These solvent traps create constructive intent though so they were always supressors so you need to form 4 them. This means you have to form 4 anything you plan on form 1'ing because you have constructive intent meaning it was always a supressor because you planned on form 1'ing it. I refuse that logic.

Constructive intent cannot under federal law apply to Supressors, SBRs or SBSs.

@@smokingcrab2290 well sounds like you aren't going to stand up for freedom. Good thing there's others who will.
The reality is there's nearly 100,000,000 gun owners.
There's less than 1,000,000 law enforcement officers state, local and federal combined.
The military is about 1.200,000 total active members of which about 275,000 are actually combat roles. The rest are various support roles.
Assuming the military through every last service member and none refused to comply (which isn't going to be the case) added to the 1,000,000 officers again falsely assuming 100 compliance we still out number them 45:1. And the military would collapse fast because their supply chain and all support roles would be elsewhere.
Stop living in fear, what I just showed is worst case scenario if we all just stood up one day and said no more unconstitutional laws, they are nullified as of right now. The government would have zero choice but do what we say without having to fire a shot.
100,000,000 Americans with a backbone to just stand up, not act like you and tell people who are willing to stand up it's a lost cause.
Freedom doesn't come from nice words, bumper stickers, memes, no it comes from actually standing up and defending it. No country ever talked and complied their way to freedom.

This is the game they play to try and stifle innovation and adoption in the market. They are Well Known for pulling shit like this. By throwing their weight around and threatening people with felonies for things that are common place, they keep everyone, from someone just looking at getting their first gun, to industry leaders and manufacturers constantly thinking "well, this probably won't be legal for long." It keeps the gun community self-policing (similarly to the HAM community) which means that people will never be able to just ignore these bullshit rule changes and get on with their lives.

They just need to prove you live there and find a judge that buys the "Hey he bought it so its probably in his house, give us a warrant to search for it." logic, this letter's job is to get all of the less committed people to give them up/register them.
