*edit* - in most states purchasing 2 handguns triggers a report sent to the ATF. Some states do this for rifles but not most.

The cop asks about being stopped in Philly with one of the guns. Sounds to me like they are running down leads about something else but they are using this rule to see the guns. Let me know what you think about my theory if you would please. I am retired LEO, this sounds like a way to get around a warrant when trying to build your case.

Which would be in violation of Delaware state law Del. Code Ann tit. 24, § 904A(c) Which expressly prohibits, any agency, department or instrumentality thereof to establish any system for the registration of firearms, firearm owners, or firearm transactions or dispositions. This is how it begins. In the 70's I had a couple friends from Czech., they told me how after WWII there were a lot of guns that had been acquired by people after the war.(From armies marching through their country, a lot of weapons were discarded or lost.) They said that the Soviet Union sent out "registration cards" where you were asked if you had any weapons and information about them. No big deal. Then after a while 3 NKV policemen showed up in a car and 2 went to the front door and one to the back. They then asked to see the weapons and if you said you didn't have them they asked where they were and sent one of them to go investigate your story while 2 of them stayed at your house. Did you notice that there were 3 law officers at this person's house? This is how it begins.

But Mr Guns has more than once posted garbage from Anarchists and Sovereign Citizens who don't believe in any government AND believe in being criminals when it suits them. These guys are like Right WIng Communists in that they want a violent revolution like the Left does. They are not Constitutional Patriots who believe in the Rule of Law and Limited Government. Absolutely they have all that info. Think about it what happens when a gun is discovered ATF called the gun maker to find out what wholesaler they sold it to. Then they contact wholesaler who tells them retail store they sold it to. ATF then contacts retailer which MUST provide the info. It's simple to get all that info.
Additionally ATF goes to retail store to gather records and look at books which they take pictures of with cell phones.

Most of the wealthy and/or anyone living in certain areas never see what actually happens in most areas where firearms are bought to protect the home and anyone in danger. Which most wealthy people live in secure and/or gated communities with priority police presence and response. Sine even have personal security if they are important enough. So it's easy to see why they are fooled into believing nobody needs a firearm to defend themselves if necessary given their uneducated views and lack of experience with them. Most who fear something just want it to go away. Doesn't matter if the fear originates from lack of existence and education or more possibly the fear of those capable of defending themselves from enemies foreign and domestic. We are ther biggest armed militia the world has ever seen if any government including our own decided to try and dictate/takeover or detain would be very costly if not very unwise. Exact same thing happened to me. Turned out that I unknowingly bought the same exact pistol that some guy that lived close to me tried to buy a week earlier but failed the background check. I refuse to believe that any government agency is functional enough to catch something like this so I’m pretty certain the establishment I bought the gun from tipped off the ATF. The agent shows up at my house after calling me and just wanted to verify the serial number to make sure I actually owned it and didn’t straw buy for the other guy. I was cooperative but the part that bothered me was why were they checking me? Why wouldn’t you check the guy that didn’t pass the background check…

Dragging it means to overreact or make something a bigger deal than it is. If you own a home and guns in a country where you don’t know your basic rights then that’s on you. At the end of the day it’s a good thing they are checking on guns and TRYING to do something! Go watch videos of minorities getting abused verbally and physically by law enforcement, rights violated, made scared to speak, sometimes even move. They deserve your outrage not this guy that just had to answer a few questions. The issue for me is not whether the Officers are wrong or not, the issue is that black and hispanic minorities have been dealing with this for years and I don’t mean the ATF or gun checks, I’m talking about officers manipulating civilians because they understand that most civilians in “the hood” don’t know the law because they don’t usually have extensive educational backgrounds. Then seeing a white male deal with not even a fraction of the abuse that minorities deal with and seeing the outrage that it gets. It’s just sad to me. This is the beginning of the time to make choices. You either choose to remain free or become a subject. This is absolutely unconstitutional and no one has to answer anything or show anything, warrant or not. Until there is a law stating that they have the right to know everything about what you have (Which would be in violation of the 4th Amendment which states no warrant shall be issued for unreasonable search or seizures. Which also means no laws shall be passed to allow for unreasonable search or seizures ), you can tell them to go pound sand. There is absolutely nothing in the Bill of Rights that would support or allow this behavior and warrants or laws that would allow for it. Instead, the ATF focuses on "collecting" small arms and small arms parts that would be effective in resisting government armed and trained agents from law-abiding citizens who possess them legally.
