It's true, Tesla has the margin power & scale to underprice the competition. In previous videos, I mentioned I expected model Y prices especially to drop. I didn't expect it to drop This quickly less than a week from dropping the video But this is a power move by Tesla & lines up with everything stated. Thanks for following.
Model Y has dropped way more than Model 3 & probably a better deal. But I agree, if the refresh is only on the 3, that might be the one to add. If Both 3 & Y get done, pay the difference for the Y. Less on Turo.
The Tesla supercharger network is amazing. The problem is that Turo is completely oversaturated in my area. I'm seeing rental prices on Tesla's slashed. I have a few newer EV's on order but not a Tesla right now.
Yes, this has been the big issue with Tesla's on Turo. Oversaturation, which lowers the rental prices. Can I ask what market you are in & what EV's you have on Order?
@@andrewhamilton2078 I'm north of Boston. I have a binding contract for the Fisker Ocean and the Rivian R1S. I may back out of the Rivian but I have many months to decide.
@@andrewhamilton2078 I ended up ordering a 2023 Model Y a few days later. 😂 After the price drop, federal tax credit and state rebate it ended up being a $24,000 discount from a month prior.
@@George_Philbrook Might be the deal of the Year as I think the gov recatagorized the Model Y & price can Only go up from here. An outstanding vehicle at a great price. Nice job!

I'm thinking of ordering a model 3, if timed right.. might get a new refresh.. that would be a nice perk to have one of the first on Turo
