What camera setup are you using? It's super clear and the audio is great.
iphone :) i use zoom h1n for this video. it records at 96khz and 24bit. It's a sweet setup. I use upgraded stuff now :)
Did you have stock heads on this? Like just cams put in there with nothing else (no supporting mods i.e springs)?
Obviously not my car but got cam done on mine stage 2. Talked to the shop and if you order a cam order what they suggest the whole kit (springs lifters timing chain etc…) heads are not needed unless you want major power and trying to stay N/A. The shop I took my Camaro to suggested save the money from the heads if I wanted to go pro charger down the road

these were the ferrada fr2 if i remember right. i dont remember the offset. you are limited to 295 tires in the rears for clearance too

I’m curious... How much money did it cost to ceramic coat your car, wheels, and brakes? I’m actually interested in ceramic coating my Camaro, too. Also, where did you get your service done? Thanks.
I did my cadillac V2 myself. If you have the space and equipment, then you can get away with it for cheap. the cermaic coating i used was about $120. You need to decontaminate your car with iron-x and tar-x then do a claybar. The stuff that takes the most time is polishing. I used meguires BOSS 2 stage and then you need to Prep the whole car by spraying isoprofil alcohol on it to remove any polish that remains. Then just add the ceramic coat. If you dont have the equipment or time expect to pay any where from 500-2000 depending on who you go with. Its really not necessary but it really gives a great shine and you dont have to wax for a year or so depending on how many coats you pay for

Nope. Cats were taken off. I sold the car though :(

@That Home Theater Dude sorry to hear that you sold it. I know things sound different when you're not there in person. But it sounded like you needed a retune.
It had a BTR stage 2 cam. That idle was chop chop chopping. It did have slight driveability issues and bucking. That could definitely get fixed by a tune.
@@ThatHomeTheaterDude My Camaro has the BTR stage 2 also. Right when I bought it from the guy, I knew I had to get it retuned. It bucked, surged and was violent at WOT. I took it to Pat G. and he resolved every single issue it had, plus some. No more bucking, surging or being violent at WOT. It now makes a crazy chirp into second and a very little chirp into third. And it's an automatic! Runs smooth as glass and makes 24 MPG on the highway. I have an exhaust video on here {TH-cam} 2014 Camaro SS BTR stage 2 cam.

that would have been a good idea. I bought this back in the summer and sold it already. it wasnt a good fit for me. Fun, but i wanted out of the 2 seater life

yeah, i drove this one daily. it was sweet. I sold it to get into a ctsv though. id rather the camaro.
@@ThatHomeTheaterDude im currently driving my 340i right now great daily but i miss the V8 sound. Im planning on paying it off pretty soon and getting a SS. Noting like the purr of the V8 in the bowties. Chevy never disappoints.

JumperThruster that is correct which is another reason I prefer the manual, however a cammed/stalled lt1 is a beast....2800 or higher would be your best bet don’t go too big on the stall or else you’ll be missing out on some low end, bigger is not better unless you wanna be a drag king
JumperThruster that’s true, but the thing is manual transmissions don’t have a torque converter. Only automatics. So if you put a bigger cam in your car and it’s an auto you’ll need a torque converter, but manuals you never need to cause there is none.
Any regrets not going with BTR stage 3?
Nah. personally i think stage 2 is max for daily driving. Na you are looking at about 15-20 max increase in between 2 and 3. the chop was really nice too
That Home Theater Dude my car is not a daily driver but do drive it a couple times a week. I do hit about 6-8 road course track days a year. Just can’t decide on stage 2 or go 3?

car was awesome. kind of wish i didnt sell it. It just needed a retune on the dyno. the shop made the throttle way to sensitive since its drive by wire instead of cable. The car bucked in the parking lot and in traffic. It was a stick car and I just came out of a car that I kept putting money into so I just sold it. I really should have just fixed the tune ... oh well

Caballero K. I’m pretty good at knowing the value of items. This guy sold this car after 10 months with all the upgrades for 30k. I bought it and sold it for a couple more. Guy was getting divorced so the car had to go. I saw an opportunity.

Sweet sounding car! How much hp did it make with this set up?
510? Car was stout. There was a hellcat charger at school and this one blew the doors off on the freeway. i was really surprised. Sad I sold it. It had a funny tune on it. Drive-ability was affected. I could have fixed it with a dyno tune, but I bought it at a low price and was able to sell it for a profit.
That Home Theater Dude And the only thing you did was cam, air intake, and headers? Now that’s really impressive
yeah. basically normals stage 2 stuff. BTR cam and all the springs and trunion upgrades. Headers on stock exhaust and the intake. It was a sweet ride. i wish it would have worked out better. I drive in morning and afternoon traffic each day and rhe throttle was tuned way to sensitive. It would buck in parking lots and on the freeway in traffic. It was a simple fix, but i didnt want to put anymore cash into the car.

i bought this car in 2018 with 9k miles on it for 30,000 receipts for the the car for the stage 2 upgrades were roughly 8k with tune.
